Even if you could send it , it'll state "file format not supported" .
Tried with Root Explorer and 7 other phones . None worked/accepted the file .

Didnt think it was possible to send an apk anyway, isnt it a piracy security.

Using Windows Explorer to share files over WiFi?

Hello all,
Is it possible to use Windows Explorer to view my files on my SDCard over WiFi? Just so I don't need that USB Cable to share my files, I use WiFi file explorer at the moment, but that's a web-based interface, and I can't select multiple files/folders...
Thanks in advance.

File manager

Hi.
Im looking for an app that can move .apk files to the folder system/app
NOT ROOT EXPLORER or any other apps which I have to pay for because i don't have a credit card!..
I've tried file expert & astro!...I've waisted hours already trying to move the files so if its possible to do it with a free app could you guys please let me know!..
I had to setup an account on here to hopefully find out.

you should use it in your work instead of the one you use now. he is fine with it being in a rom as long as you give credit. i think its nicer to use too.

Hi guys.
Need some help, using root explorer pro I have put an mp3 file into store/media/ui named 'PowerOn.ogg'
However it doesn't play when I start my phone up !
I had this problem before and I fixed it (somehow) but I cannot remember exactly what I did, now since flashing a new ROM I encountered the problem again.
What can I do? thanks.
I am running Omega v6 with whatever Kernel came with it.
WHile I am here also, is there anyway to get the lockscreen off Jellybean 4.1.2 onto Jellybean 4.2.2 that I am currently running?
I miss my ripple effect

Convert the file to .ogg and paste it into the folder again. Should work.
For the next time, questions go to Q&A section, not General.
