is it possible to get the sony ericsson mediascape music player in galaxy ace ???
It possible just by creating a music player control with the interface of the mediascape.
A pull from a Sony device and installation in Ace should work since mediascape is not framework dependent, I believe! However i'll like to point out there's nothing special about the app. I'll point you towards miui player instead. More functions and prettier interface.
Ummm... actuallyy i really loved its interface... downloadin miui player... bt... if u can... plz try to port it for ace... wud b really thnkful to u... if u cant ..its ok...

If it works by just installing it like a regualr apk, get a friends phone(rooted) with that mediascape and copy it to the computer.

no idea if it wud work lyk tht n being a noob i dunno how to port it...
Back it up with titanium backup.
And please refrain from using these "words":

Or do it the hard way if no friends have a Sony: download their rom and pull the apk.

I don't think that there is something like that. If u want it so much just use the stock rom I will search a bit now and I will post soon.
Edit: no there is no stock launcher of SE. So u only have to use to 2.1 stock rom to have it

u used X8 with 2.1.1? if so,what happen to ur launcher? u deleted it?
i use custom roms for more than 1 mounth
but i miss the old launcher..

hmm..i didn't know the launcher .apk name..so cant pull it..sory
Edit: ok got it you're lucky,coz im in a mood for digging ..the launcher .apk name is SemcHome.apk located in /system/app..but MiniCM is 2.2 rite? so i dont know if this launcher gonna work or bricked ur phone..here the link:

Hey friends few days ago I replaced my official ROM and now m on custom ROM GingerblureB v3.
Now I don't have that default video player which was inbuilt with my official gingerbread.
M looking for that default player coz it was best in live streaming than other players.

It seems to be that the stock video player wont work on the rom u have installed

You have to find out weather you can replace the mediaplayer.apk in the system/app (you might have to rename it to the name the current video player got)
I dont know if it will work but i know there is a way to do this just search here in xda for replacing system apps

but if youre rom is backupped you might take a try

yap you might try cus the worst that could happen is that u get bootloops and have to reflash the rom so in this case u couldnt brick ur phone

After i installed beat audio enhancement my walkman player is gone and replaced by app called music player. But it does not support the resolution of my screen.. I only seen half of the application display.. So i install onother walkman player.. It replace the music player but the audio enhancement wont work.
My problem is.. I want to mke it back to my original walkman player for wt19i.. Cant someone give me a link please. I know someone can help me on my problem..
And also.. The i cant use the light effects coZ thers no light effect setting un ny walkman player..

i dont know.. i just rooted my phone yesterday following the thread of dragonclaw..
anyways.. i already fix it.. i delete the music player.apk in system/app run cwm and clear delvick cache after my phone boot the music player is gon and walkman player is not installed to. so i installed walkman player app from system/app and also its widget.. but the walkman botton of my phone wont work anymore.. i read that thers a tweak how to change it.. example.. when i press the walkman botton(besides the power botton) internet explorer or search will open... i dont know where thred i read it..

if audio enhancement dont work, its easy to fix. download additional files.extact the Linux tar file.replace the files using root explorer.(u need to have root access)
SoundEnhancement.apk to system/app directory
audio_effects.conf to system/etc directory
soundfx folder contents to system/lib/soundfx directory

Yeah, by downgrading to GB, rooting it, then upgrading again to ICS... Not to mention, he would lose all the data, settings, mods and tweaks... In my opinion, that's reserved for worse case scenario, when all fails and there's no way to resolve the problem (see, i'm a lazy person )
Well, if I have to choose between repairing my phone and modding it to tweak something to work, I'd choose the first one... I'm lazy in a different way from you

hello guyz, i'm on Enigma v6.1 rom and Honami dark apps are used in it for messaging, contact, dialer, keyboard.
i love the rom although i don't like these honami apps (they are slow as compared to stock one's).

ive serious problems with home and keyboard, when ram is low they always close, home its not a big issue but keyboard is cause sometimes it close when im typing..
i always use performance control to, supposedly, keep them in memory but now it seems tht doenst work.. so i remember to see tht exist one script to put in init.d tht maybe is solution for my problem but i cant find it now.. can u help me whit tht.. or if im wrong give me some help find another solution?!
btw, if it matters im using Xsola with wolf rom and experimental kernel

Well try to reflash rom or install the latest xperia keyboard (somewhere in this Themes/app section) i cant find it now for you so try to find it by your own because i go now to sleep, its late in the Netherlands
