Animated Flip Clock Please??? - Wildfire Themes and Apps

Hey guys. I have lost count of the amount of hour I've spent researching and trying different animated flip clocks with weather. Does anyone have a link to something that does work??

This one does:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1175659
Read the entire thread for its bugs, and its for Sense based ROMs only.

I tried it last night and it didnt work. There was something In the square of the original flipclock. I could move it, but there was no clock. It looked as though there was nothing there at all.

(Q) stock clock app

I really like the clock that my wife has on her NS4G. Yet the Mopho doesn't have this. Is there any way I can pull the app from another build, say one of the CM'S?

I really like the clock from the Nexus S too. You might be able to pull it directly off her phone (have you tried backing it up with Titanium backup, then restoring it to your phone?). If not, there is a somewhat similar alarm clock in the Market... I think it's called Alarm Clock Plus?
It does some really odd stuff. I did try it and overslept one morning as my phone was stuck on the failed to boot 2 screen. I'm not sure if that was the cause or not, but it was the only recent change I had made to the phone.

Animated pull down bar?

I have mikrunny rom is there anyway to get a animated pull down bar background? Thanks

The hell are you even asking for exactly?
I've seen it before a long time ago like the background on the notification pull down was animated

I actually remember when this first came out when I was back on my Epic 4G. When you pulled down the notification bar the background would be animated. Like a live wallpaper. I haven't seen it mentioned much in awhile. I THINK the battery trade-off kept it from being that popular after the initial "wow factor".
Yea I haven't seen anything about it I've been searching I had it before a long time ago

here is a guide if you want to try your self

drop down
You have to edit that in systemui.apk, if you contact a themer I'm sure they would do it for you, but it may not be free, I will do it for you, let me know what it is your looking for. I know that BAMF forever cubed rom has that in the rom, but that's for the tbolt, but it could be ported to work on your phone, and that I have no idea how to do, but I know someone that knows how.
Let me know what you want in a PM

[Q] MeanROM 1.93 - Resize issues

I love the new Rosie size that comes with this new version of MeanROM. However, I am having trouble with resizing widgets on it. Specifically, I have tried 3 RSS readers (google and two others). Each one has an issue if I try to resize it when it's on the top row. It causes Sense to enter an infinite loading loop. I haven't had this issue with friend steam or the HTC calendar widgets when resizing them. The only way I can break the loading loop is to uninstall the app/widget by going through the settings drop down. As long as I don't resize while on the top row i don't have any issues. Unfortunately, this also defeats having some of the extra space the 5 x 4 mod gives.
I did a clean wipe before installing.

u should have just posted this in the mean rom thread!! thats what they are there for.. opps sorry boss u need atleast 10 posts to post in rom threads.. my bad
the 4X5 Rosie is new and Meanrom is the first. Give Mikey some time to work out the kinks. For now, switch to the 4X4 Rosie or don't put your widget in the top row.
Hey, if we don't point out what is causing an issue it won't get fixed.

Mikey has released 2 more updates with more tweaking of the 4X5 Rosie. Try 2.1 and see if that works.

Non working clock/weather widgets

I have tried numerous clock and/or weather widgets and they are not keeping the time synced. Usually it freezes after my phone has experienced a couple hours of inactivity. The only one that works is the stock HTC widget but as its known, it's hideous and I prefer something transparent. I'm not rooted or modded in any way and am just wondering if there is a fix for this.

have you tried Fancy widgets or Beautiful widgets?

[Q] forth bar: infusion question

hey guys i just installed the forth bar: infusion rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1940988
i already love it its my first time with an aosp based rom and trying to amend a rom as well.
I was wondering if there is anyway to put the stock amaze clock app in there instead of the included aosp one?
i miss having all of those features in one place
The stock Amaze Clock is Sense based. So you'll need Rosie and the clock file. You cab probably just go with a themed Fancy Widget or Beautiful Widget.
I'm looking for the actual app. I should have gotten the screen shots from the beginning sorry for the confusion... also how can i find the file?
You can't install a Sense based app on a non Sense ROM. Sense apps require sense framework to run correctly. It's a lot more complicated than installing an app. Use a Sense based ROM if you want that clock app that badly.

Thank you, I was afraid you might say that... Does anyone know of a good clock app that might have some of these features rolled into one?
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using xda app-developers app
look up a few posts, Fancy Widgets Beauiful widgets etc UCCW
Fourth bar is sense based so you can probably just extract the clock apps and push them to your phone. None of the Widgets will work without Rosie.

so after i downloaded the apk you posted it worked great but i reflashed fourth bar to try some of the different settings out and now i cant get it to install again... any ideas?
are you pushing it to system/app? I've gotten some sense based apps to work on fourth bar, so it should work. I've done some other things to install apps directly into the rom too, open the rom zip with winzip, or whatever program you use to extract/compress on your computer, and add your apk directly into the system/app folder, then when you install your rom you're ready to go right away. That's very useful when you're flashing back and forth alot, saves a couple steps. Or you could also install a rom, backup whatever app you want with titanium, install the rom you want, then restore the apps you extracted.
I tried just pushing moving the apk to the system app file which worked the first time but I'm gonna give it a try on my computer and see if that works
