[App] PowerAmp 2.0 - Milestone XT720 Themes and Apps

I use PowerAmp as my music player and have been waiting for 2.0 to come out.
Here is the beta version. Have to sideload it and not sure if it is only a trial like the original version or not. The original version gave a 5 day trial. I like it.

Link's not working. Would love to try out 2.0

Give this a whirl

Remember this is a beta so there are some issues to be worked out but I have used PowerAmp from day two and I like it way better that Winamp or stock music player. Haven't tried Player Pro yet ($). I'm kind of a "stick with it if it works kind of guy".

PowerAMP vs Winamp Pro

Hey.
I'm a happy user of PowerAMP music player on my Samsung Galaxy S II. Simply because it have all of the options and settings that i actually need.
And PowerAMP looks good to and it's easy to get used to.
Now i use Winamp 5 on my main computer with Windows 7, simply because it's the best music player for me. Since it have all of the options and settings that i need.
Some few days ago the Pro version of Winamp was released on Android.
After i have been looking into the Pro version, it seems that the Pro version have got an Equalizer and a Crossfade function.
And that is ofc good things to have.
But this post is to see what you all prefer as a music player between those 2 music programs on Android.
So i'm setting up a poll so you can give us your vote.
And if you want, please give your reasons on why you choose the music player as you voted on
Believe it or not I would recommend PlayerPro over those 2. All you need is to download the free DSP Pack, and you basically have PowerAmp.
If I "had" to choose between the 2, I would take Winamp hands down because IMO PowerAmp goes through battery the fastest of the 3 and Winamp is also free...

Well yeah, PowerAMP eats alot of battery. So i'm just gonna try out Winamp Pro for some days to see how long my battery holds then.
But Winamp Pro is not free though.

I haven't tested version 2.0 out yet, so i'm gonna test that out.
I found out that Winamp Pro was draining the battery as much as PowerAMP is doing though.
But i have changed ROM now, so lets see how long it will last then.
PowerAmp Beta 2 has multiple EQ settings for different albums and songs. That for me puts it above Winamp. I prefer PlayerPro over Winamp aswell

Recommend me a musicplayer

I didn't know where to post this but oh well. I currently use the stock music player that comes with the galaxy s2 but one thing I don't like say you're listening a playlist and a song then close the app and reopen the it will not be at the song or time you closed the app. So can someone recommend me a decent music player that doesn't have bugs and has the feature above?
the best of the best is poweramp with stylish design and tons of features and if you like it (which i'm sure you will) you should consider buying the full version un-locker
I like doubleTwist. It looks good and it's functional. It's free unlike PowerAmp(which is good too!)

I'm using PowerAMP from the beginning of my trip with Android (it's 2 years already / SGS2 is my 4th phone with Android). Best player for me.
...
poweramp for sure
Flash MIUI...
It has the best music player hands down. Plus you don't have to pay fit it.

PowerAMP gets my vote too - great design, powerful feature set, it really is the best.
WinAmp comes a close second if you want a good free option

JetAudio app making "clicking" noise?

Recently started using my Note for more than a e-reader and went a head a put some music on it.
Because I love music I downloaded JetAudio Pro so I'd have access to a equalizer, better playlist support, etc. However, upon installing it I've noticed that when playing music I get a "clicking" noise in all my music...I've tried different ROM's and even different versions of Jet to no avail.
Also, on every ROM I've tried the official "Music" app either crashes, freezes, or won't play my music at all.
Just a bunch of problems I can't seem to find answers or fixes for. If anyone has advice I'd appreciate it!
OK...better question yet...does anyone USE JetAudio? And if so do you have issues with it? Happens with both the free version (that you can download and test yourself for me ) and the paid version as well.
I don't know if its a software issue or a hardware one either as the default Android Music app fails to work as well...
Sup, i use jetaudio pro, and i notice that clicking sound too, but when i use another player there is no sound problem! Maybe a bug in jetaudio, who knows.... oh! I'm rooted with stock ics on rogers.

Hmmm...if it is a software issue they need to get it fixed! Been long enough now to smooth this kind of stuff out in my opinion.
Well good to know I'm not the only one with issues.
I'm using LiquidSmooth RC5 Jelly Bean. No cell service, just as a phablet.
jetAudio bug
Hi! I have this problem too. The situation is the following:
1. jetAudio is working fine on the original ROM. Everything is working fine. (Sense, HTC One V).
2. I installed CyanogenMod 10 to my phone. JetAudio playing a lot of songs with the "clicking" sounds. The Apollo player plays my music without problems. Winamp makes the "clicking" sounds too with the same songs, so I think this is an incompatibility issue (kernel or rom?).
Have anyone found solution to this problem? I am using Xperia arc with CM11 and i have same problem. After some minutes of smooth music i get clicking sound. It's very random.I have to FC it from apps setting and start it again to listen music properly.I am using jet audio pro as well.

MX Player Pro and Nabi 2 (4.1.1.) Has stopped working

We have two Nabi 2 tablets that have both been running MX Player Pro (licensed through Play Store) for quite some time without problems. Last night I checked to make sure they were ready for a trip and found that neither would work.
About a month back Nabi released a patch for their OS which was listed as including Google/Android security patches. I don't know if MX has been updated after that update.
I reinstalled MX Player Pro on both tablets and received the following message:
Component files are corrupted or Android internal modules are not compatible with current version of MX Player.
I installed the non pro version with the Tegra 3 codec and they seem to be playing correctly. How can I get the pro features back?
Try downloading it directly from MX Player site:

Updated: So, I thought, that perhaps, the Pro version just wasn't asking for the Tegra 3 file and decided to see what happened if I installed regular MX, the Tegra 3 file and then MX Pro. Answer, it worked.
I then uninstalled MX regular...and Pro still worked. I then rebooted the tablet (just to make sure) and it still worked.
Should the status change you will know by my screams of pain as we make a long trip tomorrow and two boys without movies = one dad without sanity.

What music player app are you using?

I have been a longtime user and fan of PowerAmp. It has been the best music player (IMO of course) up to this point. Well it seems
as there is only one developer that manages and writes PowerAmp. This has resulted in loss of functionality to certain degrees, and form
with using PowerAmp on any Android version 5x and higher. Apparently the developer has bitten off more than he could chew in a reasonable
fashion, leading to no updates from a V3 Alpha form in over a year. So all there is in stable form is V2 that works on Kitkat and below versions.
Using V2 on a newer Android version 5x+ results in losses of quite a few functions, but still usable in ways. This leads me to my question...
What are you using for a non streaming music app? I am looking for superb sound feedback, Edge screen functionality, and adjustable parameters
to tune sound feedback such as Hi-Res to take advantage of onboard DAC functions. All feedback is appreciated, as I look forward to your responses.
Thanks much!
I'm still using PowerAmp
PowerAmp is still my app of choice. The alpha can work directly with the HD capabilities of the Snapdragon 835.

PowerAmp. It does what I want and then some.
Hell yeah, poweramp since release here. I'm wondering why I lost the hi-res output option though coming from the N4 to the N8 though? And I used the same apk.
I've been using Media Monkey for years now. Tried and bought them all for android and always go back to Media Monkey.
PowerAmp - Nothing better
+1 PowerAmp
GoneMad Music Player
I used PowerAMP for many years, but switched to Stellio. It's a much better player in my opinion, lots of customization and the UI is so beautiful.
I've been using Rocket Player. My use case is probably different those others, though. I'm a long time iTunes user and have Apple Lossless music. Rocket Player can play those.
Blackplayer EX forever
It just rocks
Neutron.
Lots of actually usable setting options... like MX Player but for audio. The claim to be for "audiophiles" brought me to it.
PlayerPro

BlackPlayer EX is the most slept on app..... #GOAT
I am using both poweramp and the Samsung player from the app store. I like the way the samsung player integrates with the phone perfectly. It is strange that it is not pre loaded with the phone but I guess Google is trying to push theirs.

Wonder why hi-res isn't available, but was on the note 4?
Was a long time PowerAmp user but for some reason, which I can't recall at the moment, I was encountering an issue which lead me to try JetAudio.
A year later and JetAudio is my player of choice. I still use PowerAmp on my Shield Tablet but for everyday use, JetAudio never fails to impress.
Only caveat is that all of its sound plugins, excluding the default one, require you to purchase a license but you can try them before you buy.
What is the name of that music player
