is there a way to backup the schedule list and filters in titanium backup .. i find it really annoying that i have to recreate those after every wipe.
cheers
Open Titanium Backup
Menu -> Preferences -> Auto-sync TB settings
Is there a way to stop TB from putting a notification icon when the scheduled backups complete?
Something to add for anyone browsing this...never cancel one of the backups being restored in batch mode. It seems to send TB into an endless loop.

I know titanium backup can backup and restore, Apps and its Data.
I also know some apps create directory on sdcard and stores some data on it,
Does these data are the only ones being back up?
How bout other apps that does not create directory on sdcard,
are the settings saved and can be restored?
What exactly does titanium backed up? and how does it restore app?
The following are the instances:
*Launcher Pro settings
*Location Profile like Llama (Events, Rules, profiles, settings)
*Dolphin Browser Settings
Are these settings restored?
Titanium backup (and others) don't backup something from the SD-card (exception is only the removal with android self). Only what is in the internal memory from the app is stored will be backup.
I've deleted all my system data (with CWN) by mistake but just before doing that I've made a TB backup of all my app and system data, and also I've a CWN backup from 2 days ago.
I've restore all my data from the CWN backup but it is missing the all of my data which been saved in the past 2 days since I've done that CWN's backup I'm now trying to restore my app's data from the TB backup (games saves and so) but TB want me to reintall all my apps which are all ready are install on my phone.
Which option in need to choose in order to restore only my app's data (as I've said, games's saves)
please need help with that.
P.S- if I can't restore that data I would like to delete TB, does the Nandroid Backup relay on the TB backup in anyway?
Now kies air doesn't work... after I push the start button the app shutdown.
someone?????
After soft bricking my phone and having to restore from a two month old backup I have decided to keep everything backed up and up to date to minimise future headaches.
My intention is to take a full TB of all apps and system data (done) and then work out a way of using the schedule function to keep this up to date with any changes that get made.
I tried it by using 'Backup new user+system apps & newer versions', but when I restored 'missing apps with data' to a dual booted secondary rom, it only gave me the applications in the state they were in when I took the initial full backup.
What is the best way of capturing any data updates? 'Redo backups for modified data' sounds right, but will this include new applications that I have installed since the original TB?
Thanks.

First the obvious: Did you run the scheduled backup so that it refreshed the data?
Now on to more advanced: What do you have "Max backup history" set to? Did you change the backup folder that's used? If so, what did you choose when it asked if you wanted to move the backups from the old folder to the new one?
Advice: I would't do a full backup on a scheduled basis. I would imagine that it could cause problems if you are actively using an app and the scheduled backup runs. I have my "Max backup history" set to 1 and then overwrite the existing backups. If I feel there's some need to keep an older backup for some reason, I just create a new folder with the date of the backup as the folder name and do the backup manually. Hope this helps somehow.
hey guys i have a quick question about titanium backup, i did a couple of backups on titanium, is there a way i can restore only the latest backup because when i go to restore it shows me all my apps from my previes backups...
you can restore them 1 by 1, not sure if there is a option to restore only the latest as any backup you do will overwrite the one you did before (if it is them same app), whereas there is for instance an option to only restore apps with data changes if I remember well.

I think if we backup using the pro version, the backup file will be only 1 LATEST BACKUP per app
you can set titanium to keep as many backups as you want, if you only want to restore certain ones, then until the ones you don't want to r restore.....it's not exactly rocket science
I have a problem with restoring some apps' .TiKB files. I have them saved to my BOX account and when in try to import them, some eier work or some just shows operation canceled. Why is this happening?
I used to back up every week until i got a message about running out of space, you only actually need 1 backup in Titanium and maybe keep a spare backup in Dropbox or Box or on your laptop in case, i delete a backup every week after updating apps, restart the phone and then backup so it's a fresh backup.
thats not the hting though. my problem is that i made backups for apps/games for the easy import method(from BOX using the .TiBkp files) and so for some apps/games it lets me restore and some say operation canceled. why does it not let me restore. any idea why?
I currently picked up a S4 from my job and was wondering what is the compatibility of backing up my apps on my current S2 using Titanium backup, and restoring it on S4? Can this be done with minimal issues?
Sure can. Couple of things to remember:
Don't restore all items, just use the missing apps+data on restore.
In the tibu batch only backup user apps, nothing from system.
If you want your call log, bookmarks, SMS, and WiFi you can use the menu button and backup to XML options, then restore on new phone.
