Just curious if anybody had Google Talk Video working on a gTablet? And if so w/which rom? Thanks
Google voice video will not work with any tegra device because the only available lib file (from the nexus s) is not compiled to work on tegra.
I was just wondering the same thing, gtalk video chat is working on my asus eee pad however...which is honeycomb...someone should be able to get this working I'd assume

Hi
I just wonder if anyone knows if google's movie studio only is for US or Xoom tablets. I have bought one in Sweden and I can't find it on the market. I have searched this forum and one more but can't find any answers.
Kindest regards...
I don't think it's available in the market. it should come pre-installed on the device
So on other samsung tabs 10.1 it is pre-installed? Wonder why tabs from sweden doesn't...
It is pre-installed on my 10.1v but is of no use because you can not add movies shot with the highest video quality on the tab.
How weird is that!
Anyone like this app? How does it handle? I'm trying to decide if finding it and trying to install it on my flyer is worth it. Does it only work on honeycomb? Anyone managed to extract the .apk?
Cheers!
Got My Eurospec TAB 10.1 3G yesterday. I can confirm that is not preinstalled.
I am happy with my Nook Tablet with HD Netflix HD Hulu Plus, BUT I got my eye on the Prime. Will the Prime be able to have these 2 apps working without jumping through hoops??

Netflix will run fine as it will support 3.2 and 4.0.1+ for sure. Hulu Plus? Most likely.
That's totally up to Netflix and Hulu. I think that with we might be able to use them out of hte box with HC, but the big question is if they would work on ICS. Given their track record of making slooow changes, I'd wager we might have to wait for ICS versions to work.
..hey from where did you got this application for the tablet ??
because i have installed this newer android ICS update and i am not able to install those applications however !
Hello to All
I want to Buy the latest version of the Archos Video Player (V7.1.3) from the Google Play Store for my Archos 101G9 Turbo 250GB Hard Drive Tablet. Unfortunately, Google Play Store tells me that "This item is not compatible with your device". Google Play Store states that it is compatible with my Galaxy Note phone however.
I know my Archos has the "Media Center" (looks similar to Archos Video Player but an older version I guess) installed by default. I really want to buy the latest version.
I have made the following modifications to my tablet:
Installed a 512GB Samsung SSD
Installed the unofficial SDE
Installed the Android 4.0.4 Firmware 4.0.26 with Root access.
I cannot believe that Archos software is not compatible with Archos Hardware. Could it be due to the modifications I have made?
Can anybody help?
Thanks
there is another one called archos video player (ti) just update it

Thanks for your answer but it is a no go. Archos Video (TI) - this application is only for Archos A101XS with JellyBean firmware. It won't install on my Archos 101G9.
Oh well...I guess Google/Archos do not want my money
Thanks Anyway.

The one you were looking would be the Archos Video Player (SA) which is meant for use on OTHER devices (not for any Archos devices).
There are 2 other ones also:
The Archos Video Player (TI) which is ONLY for the Archos 101XS with Jelly Bean firmware.
The Archos Video Player (RK) which is ONLY for the Archos 80XS and the Archos GamePad.
There is nothing new or improved in any of them. All they are is reworked versions of the exact same one that is already in the Archos 4.0.26 firmware upgrade for the 80 G9 and 101 G9 tablets. So, even if you could get one of these and some manage to get it to install, you would not be gaining anything (other than shelling out $4.99 for something you already have on your G9 tablet).

Like you say, if there is nothing new in the latest version then there is no point wasting money on it. I will try a few free versions and then buy the one I like.
Thanks for the info.
Anyone know of a video player that will output full screen via HDMI like the Archos video player does? Tried MX player and it doesn't fill the screen via HDMI

I picked up a Chromecast recently, and would like to use my Nook Tablet (16g) with it. Nook is running Succulent's Android KitKat 4.4.4. I have Pandora, Netflix, Youtube, and Chrome(beta) Browser all streaming to the Chromecast. Hulu is the missing piece of this puzzle- I have the latest version of the app but there's still no Chromecast icon. After searching, found a Hulu help page with bad news: [/I]"* At this time, Hulu Plus is not available to stream through iPod touch, Kindle Fire, Nook, or Windows Phone 8 to Google Chromecast."[/I] Bummer.
Anybody found a way to get this to work? A special Hulu .apk, a different ROM, or maybe a modified build.prop? Something else?
