Hi guys...i am on xxki8 and believe most.of us here hate the blue scroll...us there any mod that could bring bounce back...or actually anything other than this blue scroll...

I actually prefer the glow over the bounce so it's different to the apple devices and when ithing people see it they are like, "Can I get that too?" and I'm like, "No. If you don't have an Android you don't get to glow"

If there's been at least 5 threads already on the matter, and none of them contain the fix you're looking for, what makes you think this is lucky number 6?
I recall there is at least one post somewhere on these forums with a modded browser for bounce effect and/or removed overscroll glow, and your OP suggested anything other than this blue scroll, in which case there are several ROMs or mods for which you can change/remove the overscroll glow for list view/browser.

Any of the CM7 themes should work. I haven't found one yet that didn't.
The above thread is cool. I also use redmanX themes. He has a section on the ultimatedroid forum. His themes rock. And they all are supported by theme Chooser.

No, the tablet tweaks allow you to have the status bar on the top or bottom. Themes won't affect that.
OK been looking for awhile now and just cant find any real info for changing the background,and icons in the lockscreen especially for the newer GB roms.
I've got the sence lockscreen now and like the way it performs so all I'm wanting to do is change the wallpaper and icons.

From the home screen. Menu,personalize, locksreen, turn to one, click settings, then click on one of the 4 icons to change.
Don't forget to click the thanks button.

I think It's more the icons themself. Not necessarily the shortcuts. Id like to find out how to change the lockscreen wallpaper myself

If you have it set to display wallpaper on lock screen, just change your regular wallpaper and it will change your lock screen wallpaper as well.

how about somebody telling me where the file for the lock screen is located and what I have to do to change the background and icons once I'm in the file.
I'm trying to make my wallpaper differnt from whats on the phone and would like all the icons to match

It seems that virtually all modders are adding overglow as opposed to bounce.
I am baffled as I think overglow looks cheapish compared to bounce.
Do people really prefer overglow or how has this whole overglow epidemic come about?
It seems that the overall goal of modders is to make roms cleaner and then they go and add this eye poop. I don't get it.
Are 'bloat' graphics really desired?

I find the bounce just way off and horrible. Overglow effect though looks very sophisticated and comfortably eyecandy to give a modern look. But that's just my opinion.

Don't like it either, used to think it was just me being old fashioned. I turn off all animation

I definitely prefer overglow over a bounce effect. A matter of taste.
Overglow for me too. I navigate fast through the menus and I always have to wait for the bounce effect to finish before clicking anything.
I really prefer the bounce effect. I find overglow ugly and you can make it bug if you go very fast.
Not really sure why ICS has used such bold colours, lots of blue and yellow, and while some will like it, it's not very neutral. Seems a bit daft to me, surely grey on black would suit more people or at least be less specific in colour. Would rooting allow me to change these basic system colours, as themes on adw ex and tw don't seem to affect this. Also I don't really want to wander too far from stock ICS, just really have custom colours.

but anyway i find the ics design to be very smooth and elegant..
Was just hoping someone could recommend an as close to stock rom that had neutral colours or a tool for customizing the colours, seems not.

I've recently became obsessed with changing the Lockring after I had seen it done on other devices so I decided I was going to figure out how to create a custom lockscreen and this is the result.
Just flash zip through recovery and tada.
Now if my inexperience here in posting shines brighter than my good intention my apologies I never until recently had done anything in the way of sharing mods here just my usually useless opinions but hope you enjoy either way

Yeah I plan on creating more with different themes also I just started dabbling with this. I didn't know if anyone had an interest to change the lockring so I figured I would test the waters with this one.

Yeah I'd definitely like to see what you come up with. I thought there was already a thread on a different forum where people had replacement rings. But I'd also like to be able to add the battery percentage to the lockscreen. I had that option on cm with my Inc 2 and would love to have it back. I've tried other lock screen replacements but the stock one works best for me.
