Hello, everyone.
I want to downgrade my galaxy ace from Gingerbread 2.3.5 to Froyo 2.2.1, but when i flashed it via Odin V.4.38, the flashing status was:

<1> reset pda..

<1> Close serial port and wait until rebooting.
<1> PASS!!!
<0> Destroy instant..
<0> Killed timer
Now, the Ace doesn't recover and when i press the key combination, this message appears:
Mode RAMDUMP
(ARM9)
I don't understand what big partition size means, i suppose that's the trouble. But i don't know what to do.
Also, when the flashing process is on Close serial port and wait until rebooting. the ACE turns off without rebooting and exits downloading mode.
So, I can't save my ACE.
Is there any solution ?
Thanks.
PD 1. I have already read this forum about ACE unbricking but the solution is not functioning in my phone.
PD 2. The ACE doesn't turn on and i've repeated the flashing process without any signal.
Maybe this will be helpful:

If you cant get it into download mode/recovery(for restore), the only road is the road to a Samsung servicecenter.
Cheers

The log (big partition size) is absolutely normal while flashing a new rom, with Odin.
Can you make your Ace go into downloading mode?

Yes, it only goes into Download mode, but the others mode not !
from that log, u have successfully flashing ur phone, it should reboot into the new fresh rom after that. and "big partition size" log is normal, that message appear even when flashing stock rom.
and i think u got into that ramdump mode is because ur pressing the wrong button combination.
Code:
vol down+home+power=download mode
home+power=recovery mode
if u can go into recovery mode, try to wipe data/factory reset.

First I would try to make a factory reset, and than if this won't work, I would try flashing again a new rom. If download mode is working I guess you're good to go.
I unbricked my phone with docking the motherboard. Did it at my brothers work at samsung :3

cyanogen 7 beta
version recommended :2.911
Instructions:
1. Download the latest release, and extract the .tar file from the .7z/.rar archive (using WinRAR or 7zip).
2. Flash .tar file in Odin with One Package option - do NOT select any other options such as debug.
3a. If you are flashing a Cyanogen -> Cyanogen upgrade, or hotfix to Cyanogen, you do not need to do a data wipe. However, if you have problems you should probably try a data-wipe to see if it resolves the problem.
3b. If your phone is running any Froyo), you must do a data wipe.
4. IMPORTANT: On first boot, the Cyanogen logo will freeze when your phone vibrates, and it will appear to be doing nothing for about 3 minutes. Be patient, as it is applying the custom settings and fixing system-wide permissions. This slow boot only happens after each new flash.
*2.991 - fixed bluetooth and wifi, and microfone fix
*for all version
don't work:

Hi
I'm trying to hard reset Galaxy 5. It's my friends's phone actually. It's locked with pattern and he forgot the pattern. Now the galaxy is asking for GMail account that he doesn't know too. I tried to enter mine, but there is no internet conection on his phone. I tried to turn it on with the power key, but it's like i never clicked on anything.
I tried with ODIN using these files:
OPS File: C:\Users\Puma9251\Desktop\EUROPA_I5508_v1.0.ops
One package: C:\Users\Puma9251\Downloads\ClockworkMod-Galaxy5-RFS-v0.7.tar
I'm trying to install CWM and install custom ROM or at least reset the device, but nothing happens. It'just restarts the device and does not enter in recovery.

Just install adb on your PC, connect your turned on phone via usb, open console on pc and type adb reboot recovery
Ok,i did it. I managed to go to recovery mode and install SonyStyle ROM. I did wipe cache/data before that. I restarted teh device, i thought i will se loading ROM. No,iot's just showing SAMSUNG logo, i think it's a bootloop. I can't conect it to adb anymore,as i can't turn it on. Can't flash it with ODIN too, it says close port and waiting for restart and the phoen restart itself with dark screen, then SAMSUGN logo and thats all.
Any ideas?!
Have you closed all Kies processes and ran Odin as Administrator?

Hello, look there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151396&highlight=cwm and you could try with some psyke83's roms. Almost every rom is build on them. I recomend CM10.1 it's stable and everything works.

@Dr. Cooper do full factory reset this is useful if you will experience boot loops after flashing.
@Ansh2000, thank you for your reaply.
I can't do that because I can't enter to recovery mode.
Only have Downloaded mode and Emergency.

Nothing related to re-partitioning.
Just relax...This is a common problem.
Your /cache and /data partitions are ext4 due to CM but stock ROM requires them to be rfs. So, before flashing stock ROM in our galaxy5, we use a "gti5500-rfs-downgrade.tar" file and flash it. Just wait for a few moments until I get one for your device. Stay tuned.
Thank you very much @Bhargav97 !
