Just curious how people feel who have played with them a few days.
If android never comes, are you happy with the device as is? Is the current crop of apps and the OS not sufficient and you bought it only with the hopes of android?
Do you like the existing OS and if android is never ported would you still be happy with your purchase?
I think for 99/149 I don't see many complainers but just curious what people think who've had the device a few days.
I have had it a few hours and I am very happy, the few thins i really want my tablet to do it is do wonderfully, even more happy than my Nook Color on CM7. honeycomb on the NC might be nicer, but until a HC port comes to touchpad i doubt i'll put android on it.
If no android then its ****. I don't like the webos. ANDROID is farrrrrrrrr better.
I agree that android is so much better.. one thing that would make this thing collect dust on my desk is the lack of apps.. I must admit that i did get it mainly for the potential of an android port. I am of no help porting android but if that doesn't happen relatively soon then I think it will be on eBay..
I have a question for those that may be more familiar with webos... when i am listening to music and plug my headphones in, it still plays the music on the speakers and my headphones, which as you know defeats one of the main purposes of headphones.. LOL is it a bug or intended?
I really like it, I think webos makes more sense on a tablet than android currently does, but that's imho. Its a shame they dumbled in the beginning of the os game, it could've been something special. Inductive charging is really cool, I misses that after I got rid of my pre and its cool to have it back. I'm surprised more devices don't have it. The tp isn't great for app happy people, but out of the hundreds of appa I've tried on ansroid I only use 3 or 4 of them regularly ans the tp's internet ia more than capable of replacing some of them.

For what I paid and what limitations they inherently have, I couldn't justify paying more than $150 with any OS on it. I'd like to see some more games on the WebOS side but at $150 I'm happy with it and it wouldn't be worth any substantial money to have more.
Even if Android doesn't come, I am happy with my purchase. I really like the way a lot of things work in webOS. But I will replace the OS with android if it gets a polished build.
Even if you only use the touchpad as a digital picture frame, you can't get one with this size and quality of screen for $99.

Like it so far the audio is great.
Mine is sitting quietly in my office, waiting for someone to work some magic with Android. I've played around with webOS for a few hours but that got boring fast. This is my first tablet purchase and even at the firesale price I'm not impressed. I see little use for tablets beyond being a source of occasional entertainment for people with money to burn.

i manage to get two 32gb,
i give one to my wife with the intent to keep it stock webos and the other for me to play and maybe flash android one day.
i love android ,but 115 british pounds for a capacitor screen with a browser that support flash,a decent email client,photos and video playing,music sound good(due to the thickness of the tablet i think the speakers take advantage of that),just a bit heavy.
what there is to don't like.??
definitely not a 400pounds worth,but definitely 115.
don't forget the nice 50gb free cloud space that comes with it.

So far, I love my decision to purchase it. I picked two up, one for me and one for the girlfriend. WebOS is very smooth and looks amazing but needs some more apps which could come with the huge influx of Touchpads. I will be looking forward to an android port just to mess around with it and decided which to keep.
I've currently applied a few speed patches and have it overclocked to 1.5GHz and it flies.
I feel like the screen clarity sucks. I have never used a tablet before, except a brief use of a ipad during a checkout, but the touchpad screen looks blurry to me. It remind me of the old school color screen nextel phones i95.
I've had it for almost a day now. Very happy after I finally got the patch installed, it's pretty ridiculous to have to click the thing 20 times to get the patch to finish.
When I bought it I had fully intended to flash android when it's ported, but now I think I'm going to stick with webos for quite a while. There's nothing that I really miss from the Nook Color so far, and webos has a far better browser and keyboard than android.
I bought one and ordered another (that I hope will someday arrive). After playing with this one for a few days... I wish I had bought a few more.
Yeah, app catalog is lacking, but as a previous poster said, $100-150 for a 9.7" capacitive, snappy internet slate is awesome. I'd love to permanently mount one in the kitchen for recipes and whatnot, and replace the "family calendar".
Can anyone comment on the readability of PDFs on the Touchpad? That is the primary reason I would be buying this to supplement my nook color.
The NC is perfect for everything except finance/accounting/technical PDFs , for which I'm hoping the 10" screen of Touchpad would be better?

Same thing happened to me when I plugged in my beats by Dre solo hds.. did the software update and problem was eliminated..

Proud owner its still in the unopened box, haven't had time to open it and get into it enjoyably.Plan to keep it stock Web OS, I owned a palm pre and enjoyed it. I still believe Web OS is underrated and some users don't see the brilliance of it. I would have paid more if I had to. But the idea of flashing anything on it talks to the flashing geek in me haha. I would be more interested in flashing window 7 on it (not sure if it's a option) just saying.

the built in app is decent at PDFs
I'm actually surprised by how much I like mine. I have a honeycomb tablet, also, and the hp is actually very enjoyable to use. It definitely lacks in expandability, since the app catalogue is def smaller, but I actually like it a lot.
That being said, definitely not worth the original price. 150$ (32gb) maybe.... we'll see in a few weeks.
after a string of cancelled orders, I decided to just suck it up and buy one from CL. I paid about 40$ over tax+shipping but it's worth not having to deal with shopping around while at work. I'm much more productive and I actually have my toy in my hands.
That being said I'm keeping my eyes open for a 16gb for my daughter to play with, hopefully HP SMB will have some more tomorrow.

I'm reading lots of good things about the HP Touchpad, and I'm planning to take a tablet just these days.
I was comparing the new Amazon Kindle Fire and the new Nook Tablet (aka. Nook Color 2) which are about to come out this month.
Unfortunately I'm from Italy so Amazon will not be a good option for me at last...
Suddenly I stumbled upon this HP Touchpad: lots of good reviews, lots of happy feedbacks, 9.7'' (which would be awesome for me as I'm gonna study on it lots of university pdf lessons too), good development community (Dual Boot WebOS and Android? Awesome!), CM support, all made me think it should be my best choice, but...
I'm just recently aware of the fact that HP Touchpad production is discontinued now, and so I'm really worried about HP's warranty/support of the product if I'd buy it now.
Also I'm worried about future updates (from development community mainly), I'd really like to develop for Android OS on this tablet if I'm gonna buy it.
I'm not a big fun of cameras and gps (I have another smartphone and real camera for those), so the lack of those is not a problem for me.
Also, my budget is ONLY around 200-230 bucks, not even near 300 bucks.
Finally, would you suggest this HP Touchpad to someone that's gonna buy a tablet NOW, is it still a good choice?
If the answer is yes, could you please explain why and suggest where to buy for worldwide delivery?
If not, could you please explain why in details and what would you suggest instead?

At last, I managed to get a Touchpad for myself, spent around € 170 (yeah I'm talking in my own currency), which is totally worth it!
First day I updated WebOS to version 3.0.4, installed Preware with new kernel and governor at 1,5 Ghz.
Later on the same day, I installed the last CyanogenMod alpha release with SOD fix.
Guys, what can I say...this device is totally awesome!
I've tried lots of times the iPad 2, and also the new Galaxy Tab 10.1, and this Touchpad really is on the SAME level of experience (especially once you "unlock" the 1,5 processors).
I must say, WebOS for multi tasking and productivity, is far more professional and has really better performance than Android (and potentially could have been on same level of iOS if other nice updates would have come along), it's a real pleasure to use it.
Not to mention that the CyanogenMod is actually feeling as a real Beta, and Android on this Tablet is awesome too.
For ~ $200 this is a real bargain.
I don't even worry about WebOS future nor HP future anymore, as ICS has come out now and CyanogenMod's team will surely surprise us with a cool Alpha release the next 1-2 months or so (hoping).
And if anything goes wrong, the WebOS Doctor is the key for not breaking your warranty almost 99% of the times.
It's really difficult to break this Tablet from what I've seen.
I just hope, if anything really goes wrong on hardware side, that HP support for warranty will be good enough, hoping it will be available here in EU aswell.
If any of you knows anything about it, please share!

Current WebOS works well in multitasking, but the original one was really slow. Few cards opened and you literrally had issues with typing on virtual keyboard, really annoying stuff, even on overclocked (1.5GHz) version. Android was working way better then, felt perfectly smooth and so on, but for now, since it drains battery more and has some WiFi connectivity issues WebOS is just fine ;-)
Looking forward to ICS to get it's full potential.
I'm very pleased with the support of HP for TouchPad. I live in France and I'm a very lucky man because I could buy 4 TP in fire sale: 1 16GB, 1 32GB and 2 64GB. I have 1 64GB sent to repair center in Hungary because of the cracks, after 1,5 month I haven't yet seen any cracks, 1 16GB sent 2 times to repair center because of the touch screen (after the first repair, the problem couldn't be solved). Normally the tablet returns back in 10 days (by UPS), and totally free

I've just bought a Belkin case for iPad, and not so surprisingly it fits perfectly for Touchpad!
Even the holes for ports/buttons are at same positions
Sooooo happy with my touchpad. I was going to buy a Kindle fire, but when I saw the touchpads going for the same price on Ebay, I knew this would be the better deal.
Plus,I really like webOS. It works flawlessly on my work's wifi. Android devices trend to drop connection fairly often.

the touchpads in raw bang per buck is better than the fire and nook combined. you're looking at a 1.5ghz dual core processor that was underclocked to 1.2ghz for marketting purposes.
the IPS screen alone is worth 100 bucks in supply costs
and 32gb of space? for 150bucks? done deal imo.

I am running dual boot webos and cm7. I will never be more happy. My sister has nook color, and I have used it. My tp beats it to dust becoz of the speed and screen to name a few things. I have heard good reviews about kindle fire but still its e reader with customized and limited version of android which again will have to cracked to get full android experience. Nook tablet seems to be good but its still 7 inch screen.
I know u can run Ubuntu and android on tp right now. It looks like tp hardware is like hd2, means we will b able to run many different OS on it.

I use my touchpad for everything I need to do. The webos side has good apps for work and the cm7 side gives me netflix, games, video, photos, skype, ect... the TP is a very usefull tablet. If you get one for 200 and find you don't like it, PM me and we might be able to work something out, especially if you get the 32GB unit.

I just put CM7 Alpha 2.1 on it this weekend and it is amazing how well an Alpha is running on this thing. If you can get a 32 gig for less than $200 you aren't that far off from the fire sale price.
I have a Nook Color with CM7 as well. I think both size devices have their merits so it depends what you want to use them for.

webOS, you will use most of the time because it's nice to be in and it's the most useful. You can get to where you need to be quick. Skype call? No problem. Email? Coming right up. And while I'm reading a Wikipedia page and Facebooking at the same time, I can buy a scooter from Amazon. Not to mention reading a magazine and downloading podcasts and listening to music. I can do every single one of those things, all at one time.
That's the point of getting a tablet, right?
That's just it. webOS puts you at the center of all the action. It's a tablet in the way it's supposed to be.
That's something no other tablet can do. Anywhere. It's unmatched. And on top of allllll that, you still have the latest version of Android. Useless?! It's the furthest thing from.

In order to be a good operating system, everything has to come together. You cannot miss one thing. WebOS has an app store, but you won't see many big name companies (the ones that matter) developing apps for it.
The problem with A & I tabletwise is that it doesn't work that different from your phone.
Which means the productivity, is not there.
I'm in Android watching a YouTube video, but as soon as I open another webpage, the video stops.
I'm in iOS and I get an email, or I want to look up how to beat this level of Angry Birds, if I enter the Internet, bye-bye Angry Birds, I have to start all over.
Those are big problems. WebOS saved us from that.
While you can do more in webOS, the ironic thing is, there's less apps, so you can't use that fantastic multitasking on everything you would like to.
So webOS used to be on thin ice, but better apps are coming in.
Still, this is a big problem for any tablet maker. We need a system where you can just push apps to make them compatible with any tablet device, or we are going to be stuck with iOS and Android as the only operating systems there are.

If you don't mod the TouchPad, it's not truly a POS. with the original firmware, yes, it's the most laggy experience ever. But ever since the latest official firmware update, it becomes infinitely more usable.
If you apply the relevant preware patches and overclock on top of that, it becomes pretty darn snappy.
So WebOS is definitely still alive and kicking.
The latest CM Alpha is indeed impressive. But I still have trouble using it as my daily OS primarily due to the faster battery drain. But I'm sure that's just a temporary issue.
At the firesale price of $99 for a 16GB, it's a steal. I would say that it would even be worth it at $200.
But keep in mind that you're within range of getting one of these:
Kindle Fire is $199
Nook Tablet is $249
Personally, I want another one. Currently using my TP as my main computing device. Have CM installed, and barely using it, honestly.

Woth it? Well, if there will be a stable ICS port, and you understand what is a tablet and how you could use it, it's worth it, i guess. Personally, after i bought it i understood that there are quite few tasks that i could use a tablet for, so this thing just lies on my table, collecting dust.
Anyway, if you are going to buy TP NOW, better look in the Nook Tablet direction: for $250 you will have more compact tablet with better CPU/GPU and microsd slot.

I have to agree with Unrealwolf. If you have a purpose for a tablet, it is a good one for the price. It would be nice to have the SD Cord slot but the only reason I filled up my 16GB is because I put on 2GB of music and 20 full length MP4 movies.
At home I seldom use my laptop because I do all my email, social networking, and web browsing (ie. shopping, research, and forum updates) on a tablet (I have both a TP and a Nook Color). Very much worth it to me.

Not too sure yet about the new nook tablet but the fire is getting some less than stellar reviews today. Seems to be a bit laggy. After using my touchpad for a while, I have a hard time going back to my nook color 7 inch screen. I am actually starting to develop apps in enyo for the touchpad. I really like webos as well as cm7. For me, the touchpad gives me the besr of both worlds.

Ok so I recently broke my Archos 10 and I'm looking for a new tablet for school. I have the choice between an HP touchpad or a Nook Color I know development is stronger on the Nook but I like the larger screen since I'm coming from a 10 inch screen. Basically a asking in those two forums would be pointless since they own that device so Evo 3D/ other device holders which one should i get?
Please note the SCHOOL part... I'm a broke student and don't have 400-600 to drop on a new tablet

Touchpad all the way, the asus looks dope for a few hundred more though. The nook is great, but a little small for my tastes

The prime is actually 499 for the 32 GB version. Not too bad.
What do you need it for in school? If it's for taking notes you night really want to consider a cheap netbook.
I just got a Nook Tablet(the new one not the color), development isn't really rolling yet, we do have root and google market. But it does have a great screen and killer battery life(like 10 hours of continuous life). I've found that the 7 inch size is a lot more portable than I thought, Most cargo pants can fit my nook in there and it turns out most of my jackets have at least one pocket that can fit too. It's $250 so its pretty cheap. If your really on a budget there's the kindle fire($200) too.
I picked up a WiFi HTC flyer NIB over thanksgiving for $200 and its a great tablet. It's in the process of updating to honeycomb and it sure is pretty fast. I also own a touchpad but I use the flyer for all school notes because of seamless integration with evernote.

This man is right. The price to performance ratio of both the nook tablet and kindle fire really can't be beat. They can pretty much do everything that the $500 tablets can with only half the price.

I will try to answer your actual question and feel that I am pretty qualified to do so as I own both of the products of which you speak. Between the two, if you want to get work done, I would go with the HP Touchpad. I am running the CM7 Alpha 3 XRONified (custom rom based off of CM7 a3) and it is pretty darn stable. I had been using google docs through webOS to take notes and such, but now that Gingerbread is pretty much stable, I am using Quickoffice Pro (thanks amazon free app of the day). I did purchase the BT keyboard when I got this so this really helps. The NC absolutely has had some amazing developer interest and I have been extremely happy with what I have been able to get out of it, but some are really beginning to move on. In fact, Dalingrin who is one of the better known NC devs is now a TP dev and has mentioned that he believes that ICS will run a lot better on TP than NC (duh!). However he said part of the reason is waning dev interest.
I guess if you want a "proof is in the pudding" statement. When I just had my NC, I carried both my 17 in laptop and my NC with me to school and the only school related thing I did with my NC was to display speaker notes when I was giving a presentation. Now I only bring my TP and BT keyboard with me. My laptop stays at home for heaving lifting (though I have a new smaller and lighter laptop) and my NC has been relegated to being an ereader.
I had more I wanted to write but lost track, but please let me know if you have any more direct questions that I can help you with.

You can easily get a used mint condition Asus Transformer 1 online for about $250. It is the best device I have ever purchased. With the keyboard dock it is amazing. You just can't beat a tablet for school that gets 16 hours of battery life.

This would have been my advice since I also saw the $249 black friday price. However, who knows if it will be that price again anytime soon. Plus he is looking at about $100 for a dock. So now, assuming an absolutely best case scenario, he would be spending 150 more than he was looking to spend. This is why still went with the TP.
Also, the TP doesn't have a problem balancing with the HP case (or any trifold case for that matter).
Agreed transformer 1 is the way to go and as was said you should have no prob finding one for 250 - 300.
I have an acer iconia 500 and for the price you cant beat it. Quite a bit of dev action and its a solid hc tab.

I do like the size but battery isn't much of a factor since I have 6 hour classes and being an EMT would make this great in terms of size and portability

I guess if you want a "proof is in the pudding" statement. When I just had my NC, I carried both my 17 in laptop and my NC with me to school and the only school related thing I did with my NC was to display speaker notes when I was giving a presentation. Now I only bring my TP and BT keyboard with me. My laptop stays at home for heaving lifting (though I have a new smaller and lighter laptop) and my NC has been relegated to being an ereader.

Wow! This actually made my decision easier the only thing I was unsure of was the use of Bluetooth keyboards and compatibility which would make notes and portability much easier compared to a netbook/notebook
I would go for a newer tablet like most of you are mentioning but since my biggest factor is price a $150 32GB HPTP is my best bet since its for notes and books and its not too expensive

No problem. Also, the HP case is great, but you can get unofficial ones that will work for only a few bucks off of ebay. The main advantage that the HP case has is that the bezel is exposed which is important for the gestures available for WebOS. If you are just going to use it for android, though, this becomes a lot less important. I have the HP BT keyboard and it works great, but I am sure that you can use any BT keyboard. Also, if you can find a touchstone for cheap it is not necessary, but nice but you can wait on that since you are trying to save money.
I would be careful in getting your hopes up though, I don't think that you will find a HPTP for only 150 anymore. I looked at ebay and it looks like it will cost closer to $200
Ah I thought you wanted to be under 400 but yea 150 for the touchpad is tough to beat. Out of budget but just to give u something else to look at Bestbuy has the transformer on sale for 299.

I personally have the touchpad. With the update HP pushed out a few weeks ago and some of the pre ware available, webos really isn't that bad to use and the browser is, I personally think, the beat browser out on any tablet.
Then, when I'm not in school or on weekends, I boot into android for the apps and the fun.

i agree with his statements, the touchpad is superior in every way and it has fantastic development behind it
I think I would go with a Flyer for $299. With the stylus you could take notes, it's a nice 7" form factor, etc. I wouldn't bother with a Fire or Nook (either) if you are planning to take notes with it.
On the flip side, the iPad 3 and more quad-core Androids will be coming out very soon, which will either provide a better option or it will drive the price of these older ones down.

Just got a Touchpad for Christmas today, and got it completely set up, with Preware, Xronified, and a lot of other stuff. So, I wanted to know, which OS do you people here use more, Android or WebOS?
Personally, I feel like WebOS' interface is way more polished. The multitasking is great, it feels smooth, and it's very user friendly. I've been using Android for a while, and it's a lot more powerful, but I just don't like it as much. Perhaps my opinion will change over time, but on the first day, I love me some WebOS.
It's a pity HP completely messed up the launch. I mean, for the same price, no one would take this over the iPad. Perhaps if it launched at $399, like the Transformer, it would have seen some success. Then again, we probably wouldn't have this Android community.
I just could not use webOS.
The browser stunk and there were no alternatives, and no free game to keep the kids occupied.
No netflix to keep the wife occupied.

I am in the same boat. I like the feel and polish to the WebOS operating system. However the lack of apps compared to android makes it tough to stick with.

I agree. I love the webOS interface and would take it any day over Android. However, the lack of apps in webOS just keeps drawing me back over to Android.
I like webOS better than Android 2.3. I don't like the scaled phone apps. If I am going to experience occasional bugs, and freezes, I don't want to do it with a phone OS.
If there was a honeycomb (unlikely) or ICS (coming along) build I would probably switch, even if its buggy.
WebOS feels more intuitive and more stable to me. I like the stock browser better than any android browser I can find.
Yes, there are only a few tablet apps for the TouchPad webOS, but there are zero gingerbread tablet optimized apps. I don't really use many apps. I like the Facebook in webOS, that's about it. Almost all other use is in the browser. Its got native flash support, and seems to render fairly well most of the time.
I do currently have Android on my TouchPad for the kids. The apps for the kids don't need to be tablet optimized, scaled drawing games and such are okay. Also Netflix doesn't work in webOS, no app and won't work in the browser.
I also agree that the TouchPad doesn't have to be dead. At $399, or if they at least marketed it. Put out some serious advertising. The Galaxy Tab and Xoom are selling (some) at the same price at the iPad. HP was supposed to be the cash behind the deal to make it work. They didn't even try, and gave up too quick. Maybe if Apple had sued them for making a big iPhone 3G, they would be more successful, as the lawsuit has made Galaxy Tab a household name.

I use both. I use webos because of the multi tasking ability. I am not a big gamer (I have 5 games for android and 3 for webos) but there is no android email app out there as good as the email for webos. As I use several accounts both business and personnel, webos is much easier to use for all my email contacts. The on screen keyboard for webos is more refined and allows me to touch type as fast as I like with no dropped keys. The android keyboards I have used are lacking and drop keystrokes constantly. I have tried swiftkey, hackers kbd, ect... and none of them are as smooth as the webos keyboard. I stream tv and movies to the touchpad using flood HD for webos and it is quite good.
As for android, currently have the xron b2.7 mod of cyanogen installed and must admit it is nice. There are many apps for most anything I could want but still there are occasional issues with apps force closing and wifi dropping off. I don't mind those issues as I realize the build is still basically an alpha and will improve with time. Overall, both operating systems have their strong points so I use them both.
I have been working on developing apps within the preware community and android is still difficult for me to work with from a developers point of view. I am sure it will grow on me over time and webos's days are surely numbered. Still I have a tablet that is able to boot two very good operating systems and function well so I am content for now.

Sold my iPad for an Acer Iconia A500...hated the ipad. Picked up the 32 gig Touchpad during firesale. Used it ever since. WebOS is better than android or iOS period. I have android installed on the TP, but almost never boot into it. Sold the Iconia.
HP blew it. This tablet could have been a world beater if they tried. Oh well, my gain ;-)
Alpha 3.5. I love some things in WebOS, things that even CyanogenMOD lacks, real multitasking, for example, and gestures (as far as i can understand, you'll need to press those annoying back-home-menu buttons even in ICS, while in WebOS it's much simplyer and, err, comfortablier). But total slowness and the absolute lack of software are making the OS useless. Well, there is also a thing that WebOS could do, and Android couldn't - HD .mkv videos with hardware decoding. The only player on Android that could do that doesn't currently work on TP. But i can live without video.
How is webOS slow? I keep hearing that, but never see it. My tp is snappy. Better than either my iPad or Iconia. I just don't understand why people feel that way. As for apps, nothing I need or use is lacking.

I'm using both WebOS with Preware and CM 7 a2.
If WebOS had support for the apps I'm using, I would never use Android.
Email is better, multitasking is better, everything flows great. The web browser even feels good. Honestly, it feels like a tablet should.
That being said, I wind up using Android because I need to keep my data consistent. Booting from one to the other for different tasks is not really an option, so I go where the support is.

Love the Xronified Android. So fast so sleek. Always flashing on my phone so couple of fcs here and there doesn't affect me. Webos has potential but not mature enough as android.

I have a touchpad on the way. Deal maker was dual boot ability. I had a webOS phone but it is a Pre Plus that will never be updated. So I came over to the dark side.
Now I'm looking forward to webOS again. Will try to go straight webOs for a while cefore jumping into loading cm7

I unboxed my 32GB Touchpad and carried it to my computer to install Android.
I booted it up, connected it to my wifi, played with WebOs and the HP app store. Fell in love with WebOs and downloaded all the apps I thought I could possibly use. Shut down computer and forgot about Android. My Touchpad with WebOs 3.02 is fast, beautiful, and the app store is plenty big enough for me. I love Android on my Samsung Vibrant rooted with a custom rom installed.
What I love about this tablet is that it is awesome with just WebOS installed but if I want I can Android, Windows, or Linux on this baby. Got my wife a Xoom and I'm worried if she sees my Touchpad in action she just might want to trade. Ever seen a grown man cry. I swear I would!
i use alpha 2 because i watch a lot of video on my tp. 3.5 still not as good as alpha 2 for video.
WebOS 100%. There are a few reasons for that. WebOS just looks much better on a tablet than Gingerbread, apps look 10x better, I like WebOS better for a tablet, and all the apps I need for Android are already on my phone. Maybe when ICS comes out that will change but I'd never give up WebOS for Android 2.3. For my phone, I much prefer Android for the widgets.
