[Q] how do I restart my touch pad from the USB sign? - TouchPad General

I was in the process of installing Cm7 on my touchpad. I got to the point where i have to hold the volume up butting while it was booting to get to the "bootie" screen. and i forgot to put on the gapps file. i was wondering how to get out of the bootie screen.

You should be able to reboot by doing the power + home button for 15 sec...

CM9 Touchpad stuck at usb logo, help!

I installed CM9 following all the instructions. I thought the process to access Clockworkmod Recovery was similar to my G2x so I turned off the tablet, then I held the power button and the volume up button. Now it is stuck at a usb logo.

Click to collapse
just hold the power button and the home screen button for 30 seconds and it will restart normally. anytime you press the volume up button it initiates the usb logo

Help! Cannot Boot Into Recovery

So I'm trying to boot into the bootloader so I can enter CWM, but for some reason whenever I hold the power and volume down buttons my Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi just keeps showing me the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" splash screen and will just stay in a boot loop of that until I release power and volume down, at which point it will enter a normal boot and start up normally.
What am I doing wrong or what is the problem? I rooted back when I was on 3.1 and I did the OTA update to 3.2. Could it have something to do with that?
Please help. Thanks!
You have to leave the power button alone without leaving the volume button when you see the logo.
Just so you know, 3.1 with CWM and doing an OTA update will result in removal of your CWM. That's probably why you aren't getting it down right, that or you aren't pressing the right combo buttons.
Was pressing the wrong button combo lol. Thanks guys, I got it!

[Q] Viewpad 10s problem

Hello everyone.
Searching the forum I couldn't find a similar problem
I have installed the Rom Manager, and installed the CWM recovery Rom manager that is required. When I clicked the Backup Current ROM, that's when my problems started. Tablet reboots, turned on the screen as if it will boot and then shuts down. From that moment have I never managed to get further than the black screen.
I tried to connect tablet to the computer and enter the APX (press and hold, vol- and power button, or vol+ and power button or press and hold BACK and power button), but the computer does not recognize tablet at all. No birds, just nothing, screen just power up, and than shut down...
I even tried opening the tablet and removing the connector from the battery, but that didn't work too...
Has anyone had similar experiences and if anyone has an idea how to fix it?

Can't enter recovery on Archos Platinum 50c

My brother fergot his password and therefore I need to factory reset the device using the recovery.
However, Volume up+ Power doesnt work for me, screen just goes black for a few seconds and it boots normally.
Anyone facing this issue too?
I have the Platinum 55d but...
I had trouble getting into recovery mode myself and this might help you.
Press and hold the power button and shortly thereafter press and hold the volume up button. Wait for the brand to load up and let go of the power button.
Wait for the android to show up. If it doesn't and the phone starts up normally, take out the battery and try again.
Once the android shows up hold the power button and tap the volume up button.
Same problem

Thinking you can flash it with Sp-flashtool or http://www.mediafire.com/file/cgy6j622oq4lv7n/FACTORYDOWNLOAD_R2.9.9015.zip + driver
Offical firmware link etc. https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/archos-50c-platinum-archos-50cpl-twrp-2-t3594137
