AOSP Roms - Thunderbolt Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a fix for my Verizon on aosp roms? I know that it works for sense roms but I am currently using liquid smooth and love it and I would really want a Working MyVerizon.

Minimal Roms

I'm entirely out of my natural habitat here but I'm trying to help a friend find the most minimalistic gingerbread rom available. Something like Oxygen if anyone is familiar. Suggestions?

[Q] do sense widgets work with senseless or desensed roms

Like the title says, do they work, or it just depends on the Rom. I don't want aosp because the camera sux. But I want the feel of aosp with the functionAlity of sense.

They require the Rosie launcher. They won't work with any other launcher.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
So it just depends on if the Rom uses Rosie or not. Is the camera dependant on Rosie?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Most Senseless is going to use a different launcher. The camera doesn't depend on Rosie, but it does depend on the framework. It will work on Senseless, but not on AOSP.

Ok thanks. I knew it wouldn't work with aosp/aokp but I wasn't sure if it depended on the launcher too. I can do without the widgets. There's plenty on the market. But I used the aosp camera and was completely disappointed. Is there a desensed Rom anyone would recommend? I've heard good about Scott's clean Rom DE , and neomax.

Clean Rom, Neomax, Adrenaline(my personal favorite of the desensed), vexhex is desensed sense 4.0 and Ineffabilis is 3.6 but has a desense option in the aroma installer.

What rom are you currently running at the moment?

Just curious to find out what ROM everyone is running , that is if you're currently running a ROM on your phone.
I'd like to hear why you are enjoying that ROM at the moment and I'm sure the developers would too.

I'm back on Ineffiablis Deus 1.2. It's the most stable ROM out there for me. Though, I wish there was more 3.6 development going on.

when I first unlocked and rooted my phone all I was flashing we're a.o.s p roms the day I decided to flash a sense based ROM was neat because I figured hey I could still use the stock camera app and it felt a bit more stable to me. I mean AOSP rom are aesthetic but they lack stableness. I would like to see the day that I can run an AOSP rom with stability on my phone. but yeah I have used ecliptic rom too it was neat. Sense based of course but neat

Stangs AOSP latest build. I think it's real stable, it is almost as stable as sense. Actually have not had a issue except slightly decreased battery life

I, for one, can't stand that hollow, hallway noise when I'm in a call and hearing the constant echo of my voice. It drives me nuts. That's really my only qualm, but enough for me to stay away.
well that and the quality of my camera being degraded.

I was running pacman and had very clear audio and on bluetooth I did switch back to a sense 4 Rom biggest things I missed was the keyboard and camera I take a lot of pics so the camera was important. I do miss the multitasking and speed of 4.2.2 but that is what my nexus 7 is for.

Still haven't tried it, though I may at some point.
I tried Ecliptic for a week or so, and it just didn't bode well with my phone. This Asurion replacement is just nothing like my original Rez.
I only don't have that? Which ROM were you running

[Q] Do AOSP Kernels work with CM10.1?

Do AOSP Kernels work with CM10.1? I've noticed there are no cm10.1 kernels out for out phone, and there's maybe one AOSP out. I'm in desperate need of a non-stock Kernel, due to the fact I get massive lags for some reason, even with no processes running.

It should. Try it and if it gives you issues, flash the voltage stabilizer from the same link.
