I just bought an Samsung Galaxy S II - GT-I9100 from someone , and i have problems with the mic during the calls, it-s something with the noise reduction.
I've done some research on the net and i haven't found a solution for the problem, i tried different kernels, an firmware update but no result.
Android version : 2.3.5
Base band version: I9100BVKJ4
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100BVKJ4-CL681297 [email protected] #2

This is a harware or software problem?

Hello there,
Well here is my issue:
My Samsung Galaxy has low GSM Signal.
I tried to restore the firmware , nothing
I checked around the forums and saw that their are many different Samsung updates from different countries and stuff and i am thinking maybe it has to do with my baseband model or even Kernel
Baseband version : I9300XXLF5
Kernel version: 3.0.15-705505
Buid: IMM76D.I9300XXALF6
Should my build be the same as my Baseband?
If i flash another version (baseband , kernel) will it/could it make any difference?
Regards
Hey . I am new to XDA and android too
I have Samsung Galaxy S III International ..
after I upgraded the firmware from ICS. 4.0.4 to JB 4.1.2
I suffered from a serious issue I got no sound during call . I couldn't hear the ring when I am calling also I couldn't hear the voice from the person whom I call also he can't hear my voice too ..
I sent it to Samsung they flashed the latest software twice but nothing happened to the issue ..
they told me you rooted it for 7 times and this should be the problem so you may downgrade it but it will affect the hardware
after that they told me by rooting you lost your warranty and it's a hardware issue will cost you about 1800 Egyptian pound and the new device cost 4500 EGP ..
so before Using triangle trying to reset counter flash I found this topic here ::
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2076857
-- Galaxy S3 RIL+Modem CWM Flashable Collection -- by this guy Kamalmawa including a lot and new Modems For GT-I9300
this Topic talking about hardware's radio and modem and signal
so I tried to install the latest modem for UK even I am from Egypt Via CWM as it's a flashable Zip file ( .md5 )
XXEMB5
Android:4.1.2
Date: 25/02/2013
Carrier-Country-Region: Unbranded - UK - Europe
Download: Mediafire
RIL MD5: 788BBF58812206981E4465966BA45BBD
-----------------------
after doing this now I become able to make phone calls again !
also it improved the network signal I could hear the one whom I call again and of course ppl. could hear my voice before that PDA was no more than an IPOD ..
so If you have no sound during call issue too .. try to flash a suitable modem .
thanks and hope this topic gonna help :good:

Once again there is no point reviving an old thread especially when the OP clearly states he solved it.
Hey Techies,
How's life?
I have a problem and I want you guys to help me get rid of it.
I'm in saudi and I use these voip sims to call india.
Now everything was hunky-dory till a few weeks ago when,
suddenly, this problem cropped up: I can hear their voice but they can't.
I have tried everything; ie, everything I know of.
I backed up and reinstalled the whole frigg... os,
upgraded the firmware, and even tried using a combination
of different voips but to no avail.
My specs are:
Samsung S Duos
Model No.: GT-S7562
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version: S7562XXBMJ1
Build No.: IMM761.S762XXBMJ1

Hello
I have a samsung galaxy s3 i9300 android 4.3,
baseband version I9300XXUGNA8
3.0.31-2429075 kernel version,

SSN-I9300GSMH
the GSM network and the Bluetooth works fine, but impossible to put the wifi on it, I tried the trick * # 0011 # without sucked, I flashing with odin, but still the problem persists.
I also noticed that the battery drains quickly help me to solve this problem.
after having reflash with odin with the firmware I9300XXUGNB6_I9300OJVGNB3_TMC.zip, wifi function is enabled, but 10 minutes later the problem came back, amazing I think it is a hard problem
thank you
I tried almost every one click application that exist, and all of them are failed... (kingo, etc.)
so, i found a thread here about similar model
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/sm-g318h-root-t3151992
In that thread i have a firmware that fit to Galaxy Trend 2 Lite G318H, the model number it is the same as my phone,
but, the build number and the kernel number , and the serial number are different.
so, is that firmware would fit to my phone? it is safe to do it with Odin?
(i am afraid to lose my phone accidentally, or to do something wrong)
my phone details:
Galaxy Ace 4 Neo (SM-G318H)
android 4.4.4
Build: G318HXCU0AOH1
Kernel: 3.10.17-773113
Serial: KTU84P.G318HJPU0AOH2
thank you!
Update: i was succeeded with the new version of Kingo
