Now we just need a work around on GB to get wireless tether back haha.

Hi
I am thinking about purchasing a Galaxy tab 10.1. I have a jailbroken iPhone with PDANet on it, I was wondering, if I get the WiFi Galaxy then would I be able to forward the 3G connection from my iPhone to the Galaxy? I can do this with my laptop.
Also what is the honeycomb marketplace like now? Are there a lot of apps?
Thanks
I have both an iPhone 4 and a 10.1 and I have done what you are trying to do but not with pdanet. I use mywi and you can use both Bluetooth tethering as well as the hotspot feature, both will get the job done.
Edit: and sadly not the android market place looks a little shabby to me but that doesn't mean their aren't apps out there n.n

I have an iPhone 4S with a tethering plan and to save battery life, I would like to use USB tethering instead of a Wifi HotSpot. I know the new version of ICS has USB Ethernet added, but what would the route be to get my TFP to detect my iPhone as a USB Ethernet device and use its internet connection?
Thanks!
PS: Kernel Modules do exist for linux and honeycomb (Transformer *not prime*) to do exactly this, but I could not find any for ICS.
I bought rooted Motorola Xoom Wifi/3G (MZ601). I have tried with several different version of EOS ICS. Everything else seems work ok, but no 3G or USB. Is this normal or should they work?
Has anyone had any luck with any of the Miracast dongle options? I think it would be neat to have the option to Miracast, but don't want to break the bank either.
Yes, I have the same question......... is there any universal dongle with all dlna miracast airplay ..........?
Check Amazon, they have a bunch on there. I picked one up from Geekbuying CV-X3 I believe it was for around 25 bucks. Probably would have went with the Netgear push to TV adapter had I to do over.
Mine works with all stock ROMs and I got it to work with the latest CM11.0 ROM but I can't get it to maintain connection with Houston's ROMs like the [AOSPA 4.4.2 KOT49H] PARANOIDANDROID 4.0+ GEEB [beta][12/22] ROM which I'm on right now... I like his the best (great work on them Sir, thank you!!). I keep establishing connection only to immediately lose it and have to reconnect. CM11 though I don't have any problems keeping connection.
Devices: Galaxy S 3 (I9300) and Nexus 7
Looking for true fix for ad-hoc Wifi. I see many work arounds for tethering. But so far no true fix. Anyone know where this at - status? This is needed to connect to say the Brookstone Rover 2.0 which makes an ad-hoc wifi - I cannot modify the Rover so I need to modify the Galaxy or Nexus.
Both devices are properly rooted and backed up. Ready to rock if only I had a solution....
Thanks.
