Charging Issues :'( - TouchPad General

I left my HP Charger on vacation in florida by accident so for the past month ive been using various chargers i own. Ive never really had a problem except for some times when the thing would not charged even when plugged in, but currently ive had it on multiple different chargers with different chords since overnight and i still cannot turn it in as im getting the low battery symbol. Any ideas?

Keep it plugged in and see what happens. Give it time

I left my Touchpad plugged in to my Macbook Pro overnight at about 50% battery, next morning it was full. I was surprised as it had seemed to have previously taken no charge from anything but the official charger.
Good luck!

Sometimes it just takes some time.

Dont worry. It'll work again

I had the same problem. I used a different charger and now my phone works again

Why don't you try using a different charger ?

I tried three different chargers and none worked so i decided to just try a new charger, and a new chord. Both of which were blackberry products. Seemed to work extremely well as it took from 0-100% in less than 5 hours....but im wondering just how long will this good luck last? If anyone is having this problem, i suggest trying different plugs, chords, and outlets.

Sprint's GB Updated Rendered My Wife's Optimus S Unchargeable

So, after updating to GB on her Optimus S, my wife's phone will not charge. I have searched around the interwebs and a few people have had similar issues, but most have been resolved by using the OEM charger and cable. Well, hers won't charge the phone. It is completely dead, and regardless of the charger (tried my EVO 4G OEM charger/cable, aftermarket cable, and a computer) all that happens is the backlight of the buttons blink. Any ideas?
---------- Post added at 10:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:00 PM ----------
UPDATE: After being plugged into the computer for about 15 minutes, the phone turned on and now says "Not enough charge to start, please wait". Seems to be progress, but regardless, the OEM charger did nothing. The phone sat plugged in for an hour with no visible change. So, the computer charges it, but not the OEM charger.
Anyone else seeing anything similar?

Battery too hot

Had my RZ for a couple of weeks, now. Noticed the battery getting warmer and warmer with regular use. Yesterday I downloaded an app that checks/reports battery statistics to see if I was losing my mind, just to confirm. Last night I checked it when it felt warm and it was 106 degrees. Earlier today it was 111 and just now 117 degrees. Talked to my account rep and suggested switching out the battery to see if it makes a difference, but he's going to replace the phone instead.
This has been a pretty widespread issue. I myself haven't had any problems(yet) like this. A few times my phone has felt warm, but it was when I was stressing it. Did you allow the phone time to cool down on its own after use?
I notice mine gets hot after a lot of use (game playing/web surfing/streaming media)
but I don't know if it's getting 'too hot' or not
This is normal though, isn't it? After sustained use all phones get warm.
Background
RF - Can you please post whether or not you have allowed the phone to have sync settings like facebook/every hour, etc. If it is heating up without any other use, I suspect that, and would love confirmation.
The other possible alternative is that your battery was really low. As the battery runs out of juice it gets hotter trying to feed.
mine gets really hot also... but then again, so did both of the Thunderbolt's I had. so, I dont think its just because of this phone, but moreso related to it being a 4G phone.
I remember testing on one of the Thunderbolt's by going a day with it just on CDMA and it didn't get as hot... tried the same thing on this Rezound and yep, also didn't get as hot being on CDMA only.
Yeah, VZW is having 4G problems and it probably is the cause of the lte phones problems.

Go figure, my phone took a **** on me just now. My buddies Rezound took a **** on him this morning, then while on a call with me telling me the CSR let him go to the store and swap it out mine turned off with ~50% battery! Won't turn back on now, wasn't hot or anything. In fact, I hadn't even touched in for nearly 2 hours prior to that call as I was in the Crossfit South Bend working out.
Not happy, and can't call Verizon because I don't have another phone....
Symptoms right now:
W/ or W/out battery in the LED Flashes Orange at a constant medium pace.
Phone won't turn on at all, doesn't even pretend to turn on.
Do you have another battery???
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 10.1
Nope, but I am assuming since the LED is flashing with it both in and out that it is a phone issue.
flashing orange?... I only ever see that if the phone isn't getting enough power to stay on or is overheating big time.
ive had that happen a couple of times to my rezound.
Fluke maybe? It turned back on now after being on my AC charger for a minute. Maybe I have a bad car charger? It is a Moto Charger, lol.

The only things I sync automatically are K9 email (every 15 minutes), and weather. I keep my battery pretty fully charged. It would heat up upon use with screen-on stuff - not background.

I just had this happen tonight. I came to work and forgot my rezound cable in the car. So I used my spilt micro usb cable that I use with my hotspot (2 connections) and went to do first rounds. Came back 2 hours later and my phone was really hot and the green/orange led flashing combo was going on. Phone was still on, check the battery and it said overheat and was at 127F. Turned the phone off for about 15 minutes and then turned it back on.
I really don't think our phones like normal micro usb cables. I'm going to buy a couple of extra rezound cables.
On a side note, it did charge the phone during this (at least some of the time).
Totally different situations man. If you read my first post I said it was not on the charger, it was not hot, hadn't even been used in 2+ hours. I was on a phone call and it just turned off during conversation then would not turn back on. WHEN I PLUGGED IT IN, THEN the orange ONLY LED light was flashing. It was in testing the charger that I said it must be a problem with the charger since the phone turned on when using my AC charger.
I have noticed the battery getting warm when I push the phone, but this has been the case with every HTC phone I have ever owned. Im mindful of it, and have never had a catastrophic battery problem

HELP. Rezound won't do anything.

So I have an S-Off, unlocked, and rooted Rezound running Neomax Adrenaline 1.2 and today my phone died. I thought nothing of it and changed the batteries but it got stuck in the white HTC screen. If I can't hear the noise, I just wait for the orange light to come on right? Because it comes on for a little bit.

Samsung Galaxy SII SGH-i777
OMNI 4.4 Nightly
I've been having charging problems ever since installing this ROM. When I plugged it in before, it would show a battery with a question mark. The phone eventually died and it won't boot up. I am not really sure what else to put but just ask and I'll answer.
yeah, that's a weird bug with OMNI right now -The phone isn't really OFF when it's off. It shows the questionmark and gets very hot, and it won't boot while it's plugged in. I have submitted a jira report, which just got downgraded to minor. You have to unpplug the phone from any usb charger or port and hope that it has enough juice to boot. Then leave it charging while it's ON.
I'm not sure how to recover from a dead battery in this case, unless the battery-out download-mode thing works? give me fifteen minutes and I'll try it...

sorry @jmsato,
if your battery really is too low to boot the phone, then the only option I'm aware of is to ODIN it to stock and start over.
1)remove the battery
2)plug the phone into a pc usb port
3)hold vol+ & vol- & power until the warning appears
maybe someone else knows some trick way to charge a battery out of the phone.

Oh, No Problem! I appreciate you trying though, I just need it to work. I'm gonna re-root and download another 4.4 rom. BTW, Do you know how to get ActiveDisplay on CM?
