I just got one of those Generic Bluetooth keyboards from Hong Kong, only $20.00 pretty nice. I am on CM7.1 alpha 3 now. Only difference from a-2 seems to be the top left button that looks like the home button on an ipad no longer works. It used to act as a back button. Anybody know which button to mod in the layout file?
Why'd you buy a generic one when you can find the HP bluetooth keyboard for $19.99. I've seen it multiple times for that price.
everytime I saw a deal for that by the time I get to it had expired. I looked for a while. Found this one.
I got one off ebay and it worked perfectly - $11 off of eBay and im sailing home free

Just received a Fellowes Folding Keyboard from eBay. Only paid $16.99! In any case, for anyone who owned a Palm Pilot back in the day, you'll remember this cool keyboard design. It is basically in four sections that fold up like an accordion when stored. Just search for one on eBay or Amazon to see a picture.
Not only is it plug and play on Vegan 5.1, but the Windows button works as a Menu key, Home = Home page, and End = Sleep mode. As much as I like the Thumb Keyboard app, nothing beats a real, full-sized keyboard when you need to write a long email. Some of the small Bluetooth keyboards others have mentioned don't seem like they would be much better than Thumb Keyboard.
With this new keyboard, the laptop is likely to be in hibernation that much more!
mind sharing a link ?
ebay search for "Fellowes Folding Keyboard" didn't bring up anything, the cheapest real folding ones like you described is selling on ebay for more than twice as much.
The Guy I bought from on eBay apparently doesn't have anymore, or at least doesn't have a current listing. Here is a link on Amazon for the same item for a few bucks more:

This is one I going to get for mine its Water Proof that way If I spill anything on it it wont get ruined.

I looked at those flexible keyboards too, but I wonder how well you can type on them. The good thing about the Fellowes keyboard is that it is full sized with a decent "touch". I assume that the flexible ones don't have any key travel to speak of, so they could be either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.
Greetings all,
I saw this auction, and am honestly surprised I haven't seen anyone bring it up here. I'm honestly curious about it (specifically, how tight it fits), so I'm wondering if anyone is willing to bite? I already bought a different case through the same seller, so I'm strapped to purchase another one, but if someone picks this up and reviews it, I wouldn't mind selling my current one for this bad boy.
Anyone??
When I bought my G-Tablet it came with this case/keyboard combo. Here are some quick thoughts on it:
-its a great combo and does exactly what it needs to do
-build quality of the case is pretty good, materials feel a tad cheap
-stand on the back is VERY useful, held to the case with a magnetic enclosure
-tabs that hold the tablet in place are metal, tablet is held loosely in place on 3 of the four sides, it IS possible that it could slide out if you carry it wrong
-hidden magnet in the "spine" holds the USB plug in place
-keyboard keys are a little small, some keys are tightly crammed into the bottom right hand corner (. , / and shift plus direction arrows)
If anyone has any specific questions, just send me a PM.
Notice the tablet they are showing is not the Gtablet
You can buy these on Amazon for about the same price, if you don't want to mess with an auction.
I ordered one and it was shipped really quickly. It is about worth what you pay for it. It feels a little cheap, but the keyboard seems well-made and sturdy. The keyboard works perfectly fine (Vegan) and it is pretty easy to get it hooked up. The only potential problem I see with it is that there is nothing other than the clasp at the top to hold it in. I certainly wouldn't turn it upside down.

I mean granted. But they had the other G Tablet case that doesn't have the G Tablet shown in pics, and one of the XDA board members showed it off, and it's a nice, snug fit.
i purchased this case directly from the sellers website. i used it often. it is china-based, so i did wait about 30 days for delivery.
i am completely satisfied with it given the price.
Do not buy
This case looks and feels really cheap. It is made from shiny plastic. You will have to remove the metal tab that is on the left side of this case to access the USB port. It doesn't hold the gTab secure at all, it will slip around a lot. The keyboard is plastic and not silicone so it will constantly rub against the screen.
There's already a thread here that people have been discussing this case for months and it is a piece of junk.
Ordered and returned two of these
Each case with keyboard I ordered was defined as specifically made for the Gtab, but in order to use the usb port, I had to bend the left tab out of the way. Each vendor did issue a refund.
I thought the case was ok, and the keyboard worked fine. But having to adjust the tab was unacceptable.
I' m patiently waiting for the bluetooth keyboard and case to arrive at electroniccrap.com.

i got it . keyboard works very well . But tablet doesn't fit tight and you need an other cable to connect from keyboard's cable to g-tablet's usb ^^ it's not really good
Here is a video review of this case made by moi.
Before you roll on the floor laughing at my Asian accent, damn it I'm trying the best I can.
Ok, here it is.
I recieved mine from Amazon a few days ago. Tablet didn't fit in it at all until I bent the Tabs in to hold it better. And you still have to be careful that it doesn't fall out the end. Turns out I don't think I'll use it that much at all anyway, since I mostly use my tablet on the job site. Unless you REALLY need a keyboard, you're better off spending a couple of bucks and download thumb keyboard.

Bluetooth keyboard support is "iffy", at best. Good luck though.
I have one that I got a few days ago from Amazon.
I am not having any problem with it fitting correctly, so it may be that they are just not very consistent.
You do have to be careful about it sliding out the one side when carrying it around and the one clasp does cover the small USB in port for connecting to a computer.
In my case the USB cable had no problem reaching.
The kick stand is a nice feature.
All in all am find it useful but it does have some short coming, so it would not be for everyone, and there are probably better ones out there, though for the price and am happy with this unit so far.
Case/keyboard on Amazon
Newbie here. Got my gtab a week ago and have been looking at this case/keyboard combo. Am I crazy? I thought these were $30-$35 a few days ago. Now $127.50?????
[I tried to post the link ..... but newbies can't.]
THAT ...... is no bargain.
And a big thank you to all who post the good info here!
I just received mine from an Amazon seller...they said it was the Gtab model...
It doesn't work. I plugged it in...can't figure out how to get it to work.
Anybody have any ideas?
I'm running Corwin's GB CM7 RC4 rom

Did you plug it in before booting up the tablet? It seems to not work sometimes if you plug it in after the tablet is already booted up.
Just got this case. nothing but praise:

That worked...I now have a G-TableTop
I got one of these but it was the one marked for Apad/Epad/Gtab so needless to say it doesnt fit exactly but it wasnt a big deal. I am not having to many problems with the case in any way infact my stylus clips on the band quite nicely. I have noticed that the caps lock doesnt seem to work but thats another issue for another day.
Anybody find another case?
Been checking this thread and I am wondering if anyone has found a good keyboard/case? I would appreciate a link if you have found one. Thanks.
I've been looking to order this for a while and it is quite pricey at £40-£45, even on ebay.
For anyone in the UK who is interested in buying one, I found it IN STOCK for £33.99 - use promotional code: 3c9ki02z at game.co.uk.
Spigen Neo Hybrid and Moga Pro are on their way to me. :good:
promotionnal code don't work ... seems to be a good gamepad for my GN3 and N7
I would wait awhile. Price should come down and it always goes on sale often on amazon. The two newoga power pros are releasing soon driving price down.
sent from my sm-900t.
Promotional code was working this morning! The top link here for 15% off if anyone is interested:

yep i just got shipping notification on my moga pro power..so they are discounting older gamepads
Yeah they're on sale right now. Moga hero power should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to have a dpad. I have the regular moga and its about useless with no dpad and the analog is terrible for the games it should come in handy with.
Sent from my SM-9005.
Goty moga hero power today. Aside from the 4 face buttons being close together I really like it. I chose the hero over the power pro because of it's slimness and small size but now I wonder if I should've splurged the extra $20 for better button placement. Oh well. It still works very well for an ex hard core gamer. Snes9xEX is a lot more enjoyable now.

The new version goes to 6.3 in phone now has anyone tried it ?

I really liked the old one that I used for my Note II. I did try to squeeze my Spigen case in there... it technically worked... but too tight for my liking. I ordered a universal one that was supposed to fit 6" phones and had good reviews. Had a coupon as well and got 15% off and free worldwide shipping. I posted about it a few days ago... My biggest concern with this dock is where the pads will meet the phone may be where the power and volume buttons are. The one I ordered has a small but very grippy area, so I can off-set the phone in it to avoid the buttons.
I have one from my Note 3 I'll take some pictures when I go home. Its been collecting dust in my basement for a while I'll let you know how it goes.
I have this dock, it literally just closes round the phone, the only thing is sometime the sides catch the volume rocker
http://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/vent-adhesive-combo-mount/ I purchased this one the other day phone fits only paid 15$ with vzw work discount works pretty well so far ..
Will post pics later ..
I haven't been able to find mine yet I've looked through some boxes in my basement but I'm not sure which one its in.
I have the Samsung Univerrsal, It works pretty well overall.

It doesn't do much for the curved back on the phone but other than that it's a good fit.
In the past month, I have tried twice to buy a "new" Logitech Note Pro 12.2 folio keyboard. The first, from Ebay, arrived and I touched its keys and immediately heard a weird crunching noise. The keys would not really even depress. It was obvious to me the keyboard was a retread... packaged to look new but horribly faux repaired. I sent it back for a refund. So then I went to Amazon, and bought one from Amazon. Unbelievably, it too was obviously a badly repaired and repackaged broken keyboard -- the right shift key was actually coming off, and underneath it a bunch of glue and white plastic preventing the key from even depressing. I just contacted Amazon and am returning it immediately. I really want one of these... they are on sale all over the place for around 46 bucks (give or take). But I'm very wary at this stage of buying any of 'em. Sigh....
Update: Just bought a kinda raggy taggy one for 35 bucks from a guy who'd actually used it. It has some wear, but at least the keys will work. Anyway, just a heads-up for others looking.
That was a good price as BestBuy is asking $93.99 now.
Did you buy them from Logitech, or a random seller?
In my experience you should always buy these things in a sealed box from an official reseller store. And if they're 50% cheaper than the retail store, that's never without a reason....

I do tend to live on the ragged edge. A missionary's budget doesn't allow for a lot of squeaky-clean geekdom. The two keyboards purchased were from resellers, but large ones -- one actually sponsored directly by Amazon.
This last purchase, counter-intuitively perhaps, I have made intentionally from someone who is selling their keyboard they personally used. At least that way I know it works. Cheapest they are new is near 100 bucks, even now. Will let everyone know if the keyboard works for me. Heh.
Just be careful out there buyin'.
Blessings.

Keyboard came, works fine.
My first keyboard years ago had a hidden flaw that took a year for me to notice. The sync button was broken. I bought a used one for $33 and it works fine.
got a new one directly from Logitech and it had a broken Bluetooth button. They sent me a new one and I opened the faulty one to see if i could fix it. I have to say I wasn't impressed with the flimsy nature of the button & switch.
Uh oh. I just ordered an ebay one. I'll keep my fingers crossed until it arrives.
Edit: I got mine and it seems fine. It was sold by seller: winnerauctions for $41.99 and he's got more than 10 left to sell for anyone interested. Mine didn't come with an instruction manual or the original cable, just a generic cable and the keyboard wrapped in bubble wrap. But it works and seems not to have the issues others have mentioned above.
Just picked up one on ebay for $30 shipped. Hopefully no issues I can't work around. Did notice there are A LOT of them up on ebay for $40 or less listed as refurbs. Can only assume Logitech does have issues with these.
