[Q] SIM Application Toolkit (STK.apk) for Bravo ROM ? - Milestone XT720 Themes and Apps

There is no SIM Application Toolkit (STK.apk) in Bravo ROM. I found some STK.apk in internet but when trying to install there is message: " Application not installed " ?!

I think it shoud be adaptive to framework, unfortunately, I did not have one now, need some works to compile it.

[Q] Where is com.android.voicedialer?

Dear all,
I thought that the voice dialer (com.android.voicedialer) would be included in any Android 2.2 phones, but it seems not to be present on the Optimus One. Does anybody know why?
I tried using the one from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780687) but it has 2 major problems.
1) It crashes when trying to make a phone call. Maybe this is because I did not put it to the root directory.
2) More important, it requires manual confirmation of what the program understood. As far as I read, there should be another android voice dialer available that would just repeat what it understood and let you confirm it via voice. Does anybody know where I can find the APK for that more advanced dialer?
Is com.android.voicedialer included in LGs Android 2.3.3?

the com.android.voicedialer is the process name not the apk,
look for voicedialer.apk (because thats the name of it)
also you shall not use that apk, as its for a htc and they often wont work on our device, its not either simple install u need to set permissions also

Also it comes with almost all of our ROMs and works fine...
I tried to call com.android.voicedialer from an own app and it was not successful until I installed voicedialer.apk by myself. Furthermore, I cannot find voicedialer.apk on /system/app on the phone.
Can anybody confirm that it is really in the 2.2 LG rom for the OO?

unroot the cm9 for lg e400
Hi guys,I've got a solution to unroot your phone after updating using cyanogenmod! :victory:
your phone will still have the cyanogenmod update, but it will no longer be rooted
evidence: installed antivirus on my phone, then I ran a scan,if it is rooted,it would say:- threat found(your phone had been rooted....etc...)
but i have a solution to unroot it
very nice and it worked!!
install Superuser.apk
then open it
it will ask you to install something,,just press ok
the it will say that there is another superuser app installed on the phone, and will ask if you want to remove it,jsut click ok
this will remove the other Superuser app on the phone(which I think you cant remove from Manage Apps
so,go to the Superuser app
then move down, and click Full Unroot>ok
this will completely unroot the phone
you're done
you may install AVG Antivirus app from playstore and run a scan
it is 100% working,try it

You could try to extract any ROM with a SIM Toolkit installed and take the stk.apk from system/app. Then install it and See... Maybe this works?

I already done that i extract the STK.apk from Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 and 10 and put it in 10.1 but still no luck, SIM Toolokit does not appear but when im in Cyanogenmod 7.2 and 10 the SIM toolkit is there. may be it needs update.
Do you know Aptoide? It's an app where you can download ALL apps like sys-apps. Download this app from the website: http://m.aptoide.com
- then open the app
- go to search tab and write Sim Toolkit
- tap on search in other stores-
- it redirects you to a website where the Sim Toolkit should appear
- click on it (it will be the latest)
-it will go back to the app where it asks you to install the STK
-install it

I'd like to request the dev's to please please fix the missing STK or kindly point us on how to get it working. In some countries not having the STK is close to not having a phone.transit payments, banking, money transfer, public announcements etc all happen via the STK.
Thanks
Working yet?
Hi, has anyone found a work around to this issue yet? :fingers-crossed:
did you give the right permission to the Stk.apk file once copied in
Code:
/system/app/

Did you find a solution? I need to app to change my sim settings when I'm abroad, otherwise my sim won't find a network.
I'm using Galaxy SII.
Another desperate STK seeker!
I'm also desperately in need of a working stk.apk; I recently upgraded my Galaxy S3 to CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4.2), and now I'm planning a trip overseas. My mobile-phone provider told me I need the "USIM Service" app to enable roaming callback, and I was shocked to find that I no longer have the app.
I've tried installing stk.apk from the web, but the version(s) I've been able to find don't work properly - they won't complete their installation.
HELP! (please?)

1 go to the settings/security menu of your phone, allow installation of apps from unknown sources then
2 Google up and download viber version 2.2.2.22.apk, place the apk on your internal or external sd, then launch the apk with the help of a file explorer. This should do it.

Not working

Hey there, I am using HTC Desire HD with cm-11-20131229-UNOFFICIAL-ace. Whenever I download Themer from Playstore, it exits saying Application has stopped working.
p.s I have used it on PacMan Rom 4.2.2 and it was great! :good::good::good:
themer is not currently available on the playstore m8,as for crashing remember it is still beta, some have had issues while others haven't.I am also not fully sure it is cm11 compatable not having used it.If it was working before then it is possible it is the rom.Have you tried totally removing themer including the mycolorscreen folder, then re installing ?

As alldroid stated, Themer has been temporarily removed from the Play Store, however it shouldn't be long until it's up and running again. Also make sure that you're running stock DPI/resolution settings before installing it else themes won't show up.
