Free Java VM for XDA/Qtek?

Just wonder where I can download free Java VM
into my Xda/Qtek on pocket pc2002?
Or is there a website where I could have trial
before buying? Thank You. :?
AFAIK there is no free JVM for the XDA/PPC2002...
The Personal Java implementation of Insignia/Esmertec is one that is widely used (IPAQ etc.) and is available for about $/E 50 at Handango.
More modern versions, supporting the CLDC and MIDP2.0 profiles (gaming api's...) are difficult to find. Esmertec has announced their JVM but does not seem to be available yet, and the one from Kada Systems will be released in about a week. Kada does have 30 day evalation versions (you must register...). Their current implementation however (MIDP 1.0) is far from stable
An alternative could be the WebSphere Micro Environment for Pocket PC 2002 - CLDC / MIDP by IBM, available at Handango for $6, which I never tried...
If you can find a free one, let me know !
Marco.
There are at least two free ones:
http://www.superwaba.com.br/
http://www.ewesoft.com/
I have taken a look at these and must say that YES they have something to do with Java, but if you are looking for a VM (like I am) which does support the latest standards (J2ME, CLDC/CDC and MIDP 2.0) which make it possible that your JAVA MIDlets run on PDA's and Smartphones (like Nokia or SPV) they seem useless since both EWE and WABA use their own set of libraries and deployment.
For example. on the EWE site:
"So Ewe is just another Java VM implementation?
No, the Ewe VM is not a Java VM since it does not implement a very small number of Java features, nor does it use any of the "standard" Java libraries and API. Ewe has its own set of utility, network, zip, gui and other packages."
Meaning if you want to run Java games of some kind which use the "standard" Java libraries and API, these VM's really seem useless

Anyone tried "you wave" android pc emulator??

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it? I downloaded installed it today & it looks really impressive with lots of future potential it lets you load & run apk files and simulates the android UI on your desktop! It compared itself to the developers SDK tool but faster and user friendly. I can't post links but I'd be thankful if anyone else that finds it interesting to post a link
I can't see it mentioned in any threads yet? If this is the wrong place to post... please feel free to move it

I saw a blog on a German site mentioning this emulator. Below is the text translated using Google Translate.
Android Apps emulator for the PC (without SDK)
20. September 2010 - 15:18 | Mobile | terry
Meanwhile, there are a lot of apps for mobile devices, whether for iPhone or Android. In the case of Android devices and apps, there is the lovely advantage of it as apk simply sent anywhere, can be loaded and saved - and everyone could then install on their device.
But what if you have no products. These types, but would like to demonstrate Apps on a machine, and without the SDK? introduces you, you have built a cool app want to show that, but your Android can not connect to the projector, or you send out sales people who want to show the app, but no SDK on your machine?
Well, there is a great tool called YouWave. Easy to install on their computers and go apk Embed
It does come accross quite intriguingly... It would be interesting to know if anyone has tried it properly and what they make of it, I'm more interested in mods to my phone so development tools don't spark much excitement for me.... the potential here looks inspiring though
Thanks tina333 for your interest in YouWave. We are a startup, with a mission to serve Android community. In addition to what you have described, our latest software release supports state saving, wirelessly installing applications to rooted phone, etc. Many users, including app users, gamers and developers, are already using our product daily. Hopefully you have tried these features.
We are located in Silicon Valley, California. If you have other questions, drop us a line or post questions here or on our forum. We would be glad to answer them.

Is it possible to load our data files from our phone to continue with saved progress in games, etc.?
Currently, it is not possible to sync data file from your phone to the apps running on YouWave. Such features are definitely under our consideration.
BTW, AndroidCentral today runs an article about us.

Secure '007-like' Android communications ( Wrist Watch )

Hi guys i'm trying to simplify a project i am about to embark to make a proof-of-concept "Android spy watch" lol.
I havent found anything like this anywhere on the net however i feel that i may have found all the pieces to the puzzle. I just need a little help putting them together.
The idea for my project is to start with a Android OS wrist watch and install OTR plugin & messenger. Lastly i will need the the OS to be somehow LIVE as to see it does not save any type of data (logs). I'm wondering how possible it would be to boot the OS from a SD-card ?.
So there it is i'll list all the hardware and see if anyone can come up with a simple fix. I appreciate greatly any time or opinions anyone has to offer.
Android Wrist Watch - Z1 Android Wrist Watch Mobile Phone
CPU / Memory / Operating System
MediaTek MT-6513 650MHz Dual Core Processor
DDR: 4GB ROM; 2GB RAM;
FREE 8GB MicroSD Card
Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System
SD CARD
I plan to use the WIFI function of the watch to connect when needed to chat with IM.
To my knowledge IM+ supports OTR plugin.

Gfx tool for shadow fight 3 ( android )

Hi
I own a Galaxy J4+, the game shadow fight 3 is laggy on it
I tried developers options,Game boosters,Etc ...
I Didn't found a REAL GFX tool for Shadow fight 3 ( android )
Can some developers, programmers here create one ?
Hope you all understand and help me,
Thank you
@D34TH GUN
Game needs 1 GB RAM for it's exclusive use to flawlessly run. In Android each app/game runs in a sandbox ( read: virtual machine ) what is assigned a specific maximum allowed amount of RAM. Check whether this RAM assignment is >= 1 GB
EDIT:
You might also consider setting up a swap file.
