im currently using pwgb(runs the best on my fassy of all the roms) the thing i dont like is that it doesnt have the desk dock app, i really miss it and wondering how i can get it back, ive searched for the files just dont see em around.
thanks for any help.
I saw one over at rootzwiki, I would provide a link or at least give you the name of the thread, but the site is down right now so I can't. I think it was nitsuj17's superclean thread in the download post - about 3 posts in.
*edit
Nevermind its on his superclean thread here on xda in the fascinate dev forum.....its the Google one so if you want audio to work you will have to download dock audio redirect app from market.

Swype Voice Input Button Coming Soon – Already Present On Samsung Galaxy S And Motorola Droid X
Is this true? Is there a way to get to voice input from the Swype keyboard? If so.... I can't find it.
Edit: I posted this to the wrong forum. Mods... Please move it to General or Development.
unfortunately the easiest way I found to do it is to press and hold on the input line, click "input mode" and then select the Android KB. Kind of a pain, but it works in a pinch.
I am curious as to where that info came from. Would that function have been removed on the T-Mobile version for some reason?
Its not on the Captivate either. But it IS on the Droid X.

Well, they have it for other phones so you could potentially pull it from another phone (such as the Droid X) and drop it onto yours
If you search, you will find posts by me detailing how to do it. I even fixed some colors to make it easier to use. You pull it from an EVO rom dump and overwrite the one on your phone. Simple. I don't feel like typing it out again.

We can't upload it. XDA has banned all Swype APKs as they got threatened by the Swype company. So you need to find it yourself. It's really not that hard, google will turn it up. It kind of sucks to have to download a ROM dump for a small file, but that's copyright for you. If you look hard enough, you should be able to find a copy of just the APK on Rapidshare or similar. It seems people post them frequently enough.
Ask the Swype people to quit being morons so we can share the files directly. Or to just release a version for the Vibrant. It's not like the phone can't support it, I use it all the time. They probably want TMobile to pay more for that feature or something like that. It would be nice if they would just put it in the Market and let users choose to pay for it themselves if they want to.

Posting swype is against XDA forum rules. I have used the above mentioned swype with both stock and oc4 kernals and not had issues. What I had to do was change the default keyboard to something other then swype, ADB push the new swype file, run the no yellow metamorph.
Go to my thread in the themes and apps section. Here is the link----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=985657 <-—-- hope you like it. Tell all your friends
i'm a bit confused by your post... are you using the Honeycomb Music player or "Music3" as in Cubed (not stock)?
i'm gonna guess that this sync feature isn't something that works with an Eris (yet). i haven't seen anything here about the Honeycomb Music app being compatible with Eris or our build of CM7, but this would be a welcome addition. i have seen a few links to the apks and tutorials for Evo's and a few others, but i don't want to post them here and mislead anyone with incomplete info.

ahhh gotcha now. thanks for the write-up, i've done enough tinkering for today but i'll give it a shot tomorrow. have you tried this with any success?
Yes. I have tried this method and it doesn't force close on me but in other forums it says it takes a while to sync your music through the cloud and it took a couple of trys and quite a while to sync but I have 4gb of music
[EDIT]: It is functional. After you do that process that I edited it will work
bugged... good luck
X10 mini 2.3.3 CM7 runs... restard...and slowing!!!!
Bad english pardon me!!!
I've been trying to find a Bible app on the market that actually downloads the WHOLE Bible. to the nook and doesn't need any wifi to work. I had one that had to download the next verse etc. from a server. FAIL. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings my friend. I don't know if you are looking for something paid or free. I use Cadre Bible. The app itself is free and several versions are as well. If you want NIV or NAS, you will have to pay. It is overall a really great app (daily reading schedules, lots of study tools, etc..). No wifi access is needed to read. I did have some issues with the initial install of the paid versions, but they have a great tech support staff via email that helps get things going. God bless you as you continue to pursue Him through His word.
I can suggest two: Both are excellent
AndBible
YouBible
Both have several versions of Downloadable Bibles. AndBible has commentary, and Strongs and some other extras like devotionals.
Forgot to mention that both are Free - the Bible versions are free in AndBible, YouBible has many free versions including NKJV.
Several available but most download daily verses etc.

Here's the pointer to YouVersion Bible (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sirma.mobile.bible.android), which includes a bunch of downloadable Bibles.
OliveTree also has an Android version (http://www.olivetree.com/android/index.php). Their Bibles are occasionally on sale.
I use YouVersion. I tried OliveTree, it worked on the Nook, but I found YouVersion fulfilled my requirements just fine.
+1 for YouVersion Bible app. FREE dwnloads of NASB and ESV, plus others! Also excellent interface.

Another vote for the YouVersion Bible. It's great. And it is constantly getting updates that make it better and better.
Ok I'm trying Cadre bible and the YouVersion for now. The YouVersion is the one I tried before that had to download every verse all the time but I tried it again and downloaded the ASV and NKJV and it seems to be working. Thanks everyone.

I use YouVersion daily, but I also like Bible.Is. It is an audio bible so you can listen to it on your headphones while you run or work (I have it on my phone too). It also has different voices for the different people speaking so it doesnt get boring listening to the stories being read.
I like the ESV Bible from Marketplace. It doesn't require a connection. I actually have started carrying the Nook to church instead of a hardcopy bible.
I use the YouVersion as well. Few months back they had NIV available for download for a short while. I sync that file to my phone as well to keep up on my "Bible in one year" goal. The reading plans are nice as is the live notes if your church is listed in it.

Bible
Give Cadrebible a real chance, it really shows its strength when you learn to use the bookmarks and notes tools along with custom coloring of the text attributes. It's my number one pick...
Another vote for YouVersion. I usually just do the Bible in a year plan, although I am a few months ahead since I've had a lot of time at home lately.
I missed the NIV download, havent yet downloaded any of the availabl ones yet, but will soon if I remember.
I use Gospel Library!
YouVersion is great...I haven't seen a need for anything else. I've been using my Hero and now Evo for probably a year now instead of a physical Bible at church.

I do the same thing. My pastor was in small group with us last week and he had to ask "does anyone have their bible? Mine ran out of batteries." lol
Youversion and Nook
Please allow me to ask a dumb question here.
Is anyone using the youversion Bible on their Nook? I don't see Nook as a supported platform on the youversion website. I see other Android devices mentioned in this thread and it is not obvious to me what apps are being used on what devices. I really like the youversion Bible and use it on my iPod and Droid but I would like a bigger screen.
Thanks
Ya! Im using it and it works great! nothing looks pixelated or anything, ita all crisp and clear. The downloadable versions also work. I havent found any problems with it so far
It wouldn't be as full featured as the apps but for the sake of more options you could get it from the nook shop. There are free and paid versions in the BN ebook store.
Youversion has been great for me...I haven't really tried anything else...I did get to download the NIV when they had it. Although there are 2 NIV's available for download...
I might give Cadre a try...thanks for the tip.
Youversion comes in handy when you want to search something on the fly for bible study...
So I am looking to create a ROM, but in which to do so I also need the basic function apps of the MT4G. So I guess my question is...
Does anyone one either have those files handy or know where I can download them from?
I thought there used to be a google app pack that was .apk, but I can't seem to find it.
Thanks,
Danny
i guess u can download the google apps package from cyanogen mod site
Wow. Thanks. You gave me info, but it would have also been awesome if maybe you left a link for me to follow.

Or, you could go to the myTouch 4G Developement section where there should be everything you want. The device database search is in the top right for a reason.
Okay so now my new problem is that my phone is now telling me it has an update, but when the phone reboots into recovery it doesn't let it finish the install. It only gets about 1/4 of the way and then has the error emblem. Does anyone know where I can get the update. I have looked on HTC's website as well as T-Mobile's website and neither of them have the .zip for me to download in order to do it.
If someone has this file that would be really awesome. I know the update isn't that important, but I would really like it.
Thanks in advance,
Danny
Could someone please tell me what the stock clock/weather app for this phone is? I seen a preview and it looked great so I was wondering if its something
only for the Atrix or if it was an app I could install on my phone as well. I'm running Android Jellybean on my HD2 so I dont think I'll run into a problem of it
not being capatible since the system is pretty similiar. I've looked on several sites for the answer and my eyes are getting sore from searching so long.
Also if someone could upload the apk file if its not a paid app I would appreciate it very much. Thanks! :victory: The picture provided is the app I am talking about.
its from the new atrix hd. Search in the atrix themes and apps section to find the apk for it. Better yet here is the OP on it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787403
Thanks. That led me a few places and I found a thread that had it named as "Rings Digital Weather Clock" on Google play.
Not nearly the same but still gives a nice look.
