The Kernel doesn't work with Eclair (touchscreen dead), probably because it contains Gingerbread touchscreen bugfix.

i tried with flame.gdx but it so laggy (maybe it because the rom itself and i forgot to do quadrant benchmark) flame.e v0.4 quite fast with 800mhz and will do the benchmark
stability and new surfaced bugs?
the kernel is very stable with minicm v21 lite version, fast and wifi works very well, the battery is very stable, and @800mhz is very amazing my u20a
again thanks mate
Kernel stable with Flame.GDX ICS @800mHz antutu score 1608, quadrant 963. Swap partition not supported (system doesn't recognize swap partition). Swap file created by swapper is recognized by system but 'free' command shows that it's not utilized.
Compcache option appears in CM settings/performance section.
Kernel seems really snappy overall but sometimes lag appears (ie. incoming call) but this can be caused by rom.
Nice job!
Testing, now.
But seriously, the boot screen logo couldve been cooler
yeah i know i will update it in the next version

Please make sure to delete the following modules if present in /system/lib/modules/ this is really important otherwise phone might reboot due to unloading adresses have changed : delete x8oc.ko, x8uv.ko, cyctma300_ser.ko, x8mddi.ko, ext3/4.ko jbd(2).ko or mt.ko
except OC everything is already in Kernel, please do not try to insmod current x8oc/uv module needs to be recompiled with new addresses
unpack the Kernel zip and place ftf file in firmware folder of flashtool
select flash and choose ZombiePanic
flash like usual

Again you do this at your own risk!
Download ZombiePanic Kernel v1.63
At the Moment I advise to not use Overclocking as I still need to patch some PLL values which means OC maybe slower than set to 600 MHz
Download Zombie Panic Extreme Edition
Warning: Do not use if you are a regular user, its for hardcore overclockers. Zombie Panic Extreme Overclocking Edition be careful with Overclocking!
Features:
- upto 864 MHz with patched PLL
- features (and maybe bugs) from ZPKernel v1.61 integrated .
might be unstable with higher frequencies!! be careful do not set cpu speed on boot while checking frequencies
I am not responsible for bricked devices. Do at your own risk.
Download Zombie Panic Extreme Overclocking Edition

This Kernel is not using FXP or other sources, i started from scratch with SE kernel 492.
no need with Kernel v1.2
Just in case anyone wants to use DroidWall which uses one xtable module as well which is netfilter owner, extrace the zip file and put on /system/lib/modules/xt_owner.ko
edit hw_config.sh in /system/etc/ at end and include this line:
insmod /system/lib/modules/xt_owner.ko
and droidwall is working like it should.
next kernel will have this also included.
Great work mate!. Im working on preroot kernel you should also include it.
Btw, can you share sources for use some things, thanks.
edit: if you want a initlogo, send me ramdisk + png, and ill send you back modded initlogo

Mate, you should be able to help yourself in such case, before doing that boot loader/kernel thingy :/ you also could have provided more info...
well, first steps I think::
1) if your touchscreen is only working WEIRD I guess you just have the power cable plugged in... unplug it, wait few seconds and then your touchscreen should response as usual. otherwise ref lash default se kernel...
2) if touchscreen does not work anymore... well flash default kernel and wait or build own custom kernel

Features of v3:
Forked newest FXP kernel.
Disconnected ALS in kernel - read below.
Enabled some governors that were not already enabled.
SEMC kernel update
About the ALS being disconnected, here I explain:
In v2 of the kernel, I had produced a script inside the kernel and an app that ran the script, and basically what this did was check if `cat /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0040/leds/lcd-backlight/als/enable` was equal to 1, if it was, it changed it back to zero. The problem with this is that it used CPU cycles and impacted on battery, as well as caused flickering.
In v3 onwards, I have done this: https://github.com/keiranFTW/semc-k...mmit/6f252f86b862c9483bc900a8c1bef73f88f8192c
Atarii mentioned for me to do it, and so I did, and what it does is tell the kernel that the ambient light sensor is not attached, and therefore it cannot dictate the screen brightness, so you could say it is physically turned off.
Sources are at github: https://github.com/keiranFTW/semc-kernel-msm7x30-ics-1
and FXP source: https://github.com/freexperia/semc-kernel-msm7x30-ics/tree/ics-beta

### LOST & FOUND ###
[ XNeo ICS v1.1 Repack ] ICS based rom
[ XNeo AOKP v1.1 ] AOKP ROM
NOTE: [For stock ICS ONLY] If you come from other kernel, please flash this modules using cwm
Updates
// XNeo ICS v2.0 - 4.1.H.0.4 source, patches: ZRAM, smartassv2
// XNeo ICS v1.1 Repack - re-added Intellidemand. swap/ext4 support. tun.ko module in /res/modules
// AOKP v1.1 - added Intellidemand gov (dont use with IO vr, caused reboot when screen off)
Intellidemand:
Intellidemand aka Intelligent Ondemand from Faux is yet another governor that's based on ondemand. Unlike what some users believe, this governor is not the replacement for OC Daemon (Having different governors for sleep and awake). The original intellidemand behaves differently according to GPU usage. When GPU is really busy (gaming, maps, benchmarking, etc) intellidemand behaves like ondemand. When GPU is 'idling' (or moderately busy), intellidemand limits max frequency to a step depending on frequencies available in your device/kernel for saving battery. This is called browsing mode. We can see some 'traces' of interactive governor here. Frequency scale-up decision is made based on idling time of CPU. Lower idling time (<20%) causes CPU to scale-up from current frequency. Frequency scale-down happens at steps=5% of max frequency. (This parameter is tunable only in conservative, among the popular governors)
To sum up, this is an intelligent ondemand that enters browsing mode to limit max frequency when GPU is idling, and (exits browsing mode) behaves like ondemand when GPU is busy; to deliver performance for gaming and such. Intellidemand does not jump to highest frequency when screen is off.

2. press Menu then create new file
3. paste these in it
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
sysctl -w vm.swappiness=40
echo "1" > /sys/block/zram0/reset
echo $((50*1024*1024)) > /sys/block/zram0/disksize
mkswap /dev/block/zram0
swapon /dev/block/zram0
4. close and save it as 60ZRAM
5. set permission to 777 or "rwxrwxrwx" (tick all)
6. take note: 50*1024*1024 = 50MB zram disksize. if you want to set 30MB, change 50 to 30.

- No bootimage (an old bootimage flashed then blank screen then appeared again after loaded all libs and come to bootanimation)
- No vdd????
Did you test all before posting?

Just asking if you test these things mate. There is no VDD level in CPU setting in CyanogenMod Setting menu, also adb mask controller told me that vdd file dors not exist.
Finally,a new kernel for SDE thanks a lot Amin...keep it up!! I will test it soon and report if it's necessary!! great job...thanks again buddy!!
Edit: well,tested...scrolling is laggier on home screen...and wifi seems to be a little lazy to connect...for example at phone startup it don't connect automatically...I have to go in settings-wifi and press connect manually! Just a little request buddy..if it's possible...can you add all other cpu governor from achotjan's kernel please?thanks a lot

Well I don't have any issue with wifi and CPU governors from Achotjan's kernel are there. Just, battery drain fast, 50% in 6 hours without using.

Didn't try "clean" installation munjeni's rom on my kernel, just flashed on the installed. But my JB rom installed OK.

Confirmed, this kernel works on munjeni rom, just flashed with cwm.
First of all, thank you for your great work.
I think you should add 100 and 600mhz to the frequencies too...also, no oc/linaro optimizations?

Adding 100mhz and 600mhz would be really great combo with oc!
Also someone please report performance, if at all any FCs or reboots and battery drain??

100MHz is tool low, about 200MHz is optimal minimun, less that that can actually cause drains and stability issues.

Nope nothing like that....
Vengeance 1.24 had 100Mhz support. Even with powersave governor my phone was operational.
Doesn't cause any stability or battery drain issues!
