Been using Beautiful Widgets for the past 2 weeks >>> GR8 APP!
THE weather animation is also GR8 .... but Is there an option to operate an " HTC flip animation" to clock widget ?
btw >>had that exact problem on other clock apps (fancy widgets etc. )
What am I missing ?
Many THX
what you're missing is the permission from HTC itself.. that's why no clock flip anymore. fancy widget got a c&d letter from HTC to remove it long time ago..

In search of a pure Weather only Widget...I like the Weather portion of Beautiful Home Weather, but do not need the clock option - does anyone know how to disable to clock or an application with only the weather portion....
Weatherbug Elite has a nice widget that displays weather which is what I use.
The Weather Channel... they have three to four types of widgets available
Try snow storm from the market

i use "Weather Widget - Free" by Android Apps. it supports different skins / themes and it can display a single weather icon with temp. i bought beautiful widgets, but prefer this app.
I use Beautiful Widgets BUT DO NOT USE THE WIDGET.
You can go to the options and have the temp show in your notification bar. That way when you click on it you get the cool animations and forecast/current weather from BW, but you get all the space on your home page by not using the widget... kinda the best of both worlds.
I never understood needed a clock widget... utterly pointless in my not so humble opinion.

Hey guys, ive got the Wildfire for about a week now and from the very first day im trying to get rid of the weather from the HTC Clock widget. I dont want any weather applications and i just want the clock.
Ive tried most of the clock apps that are out there but i only like HTCs clock. Is there any way to get rid of it? I have removed my location and now it just say "My Location" under the clock which is pretty stupid and annoying
Thanks in advance.
Download fancy widget and you have same clock widget as htc clock and you have to choose weather icons or just clock.
thx 555555
Edited: Simple, If you have titanium backup, find HTC weather provider, HTC weather and weather wallpaper and freeze them. This disables the app and no refresh leaving just the HTC clock even no location displayed.

Thanks for the replies guys, i ended up with an old version (the banned one) of fancy widgets and i disabled the weather, alltho One More Clock app looks cool too, cheers

Hey guys,
I have SGA, currently on 2.3.4 with baseband version S5830DDKQ5.
I am fan of HTC sense's FLIP CLOCK. I searched a lot and found no clock which actually had "FLIP ANIMATION".
Right now, I am using "Weather & Toggle Widget" with lots of clock themes in it. This is screenshot taken few minutes ago...

I want exact same widget but WITH FLIP ANIMATION. (I don't care about weather)
Oh yeah, and FYI, my SGA is not rooted.. I'm still searching for proper way to do it.
all this time i've only found two clock widget that actually flip. the default clock widget that came with regina3d launcher and Animating Flip Clock Widget. currently i'm using the second mentioned. its pretty good considering its still beta.
Go clock widget also has flipping animation.
But you have to use Go launcher ex.
Oh yeah, Home++ also has a clock widget that has a flip animation.

Is there any animated weather widget for android? Tomorrow I'm gonna see a friend who always b***hes at me with his iPhone and I'd like to show off an animated widget.
Here's a video with an animated widget from the Sony Xperia S!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csegdS6WDoM @ Minute 4:50
I've asked before how could I get this widget in my Galaxy S2 but someone said they need to have Sony's framework in order to get this to work.
Anyway I want to know if there's an animated widget for homescreen.
Thanks in advance.
What about go weather?

It isn't animated D:
All HTC Sense has it. Since you're not on HTC, try Beautiful Widgets and its add-on, BW Animation Package. Personally I like HTC's way better, and the new version also has sound effects. B-)
Check out be weather. Not free but the animations are the best out

I used beautiful widgets for a long time on my htc desire and about a month with my sensation. It's nice to see but exhausts so much battery
Now I'm using the built-in Sense Weather again (with syncing manually) and all is fine again.
Maybe "Animated Weather Widget, Clock" would be an alternative.
BeWeather pro has some good weather animations as does beautiful Widgets.

It's Included in the rom touch and hold your screen until widgets appear
scroll through the widgets and you will see it...
if you don't see it try Reflashing The Boot.img

It's available only when you choose Sense Full in installation.
Removed the current weather clock widget, re-add the widget:
long press on the blank area (after you removed the widget), under widgets choose Clock (HTC), you should see five pages of clock style, the weather clock 4x1 in the 5th pages (see attached)
Edit: I notice the 4x1 clock widget is too high on the screen... will fix this next week hopefully.

Just updated to RC3, again the widget is missing. When i try to add a widget, and choose which widgets should be displayed there is only one group left from HTC (Settings). Can i reinstakll the others again?
