Will running SEUS do it all?
From where can I get the stock ROM? I am from India and need to Flash the original Indian stock ROM
Use X10i Generic
Generic version 2.1update1 build 2.1.A.0.435 !
I dont think there's any special difference ?
Thanks! Also I checked on a thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=975692 In the first reply, it is mentioned that a repair from SEUS will do the trick. Can this be done?
yes, it can do the trick too
Hey guys, I've recently rooted my phone which is original Xperia X10A which was great, i had flash on Wolf_GB-2.3_tw_v4 which had work great until i rebooted my phone, half the original apps aren't working, i can't even send or recieve messages, if i go to send one it just says error, the wi-fi is error. I figured that if i reflash it should work again but in order to do that i require to root the phone again "which is now reading as a model X10i" I've tried the Doom Flash method but it didn't work to which i had tried twice but no luck, i can't hard reset cause it just goes back to the flash version also the SEUS just says no update is avaiable. PLease help me as i wanna root it again to either reinstall or flash a different rom on.
If your running WB rom your phone is rooted. Just flash your backup rom and reflash. Did you back up your apps with titanium? Did you wipe all your data?
Sent from my X10i, formerly X10a, now running WB 2.3 v4.0.4 using tapatalk.
yeah, i wiped the data clean but for some reason it keeps telling me that my phone is no longer rooted and everyone time i try to install xrecovery it comes up with sorry, the application xrecovery has stopped unexpectedly all the time ><
Have you tried flash tool to return to a stock rom and then root? Or even a prerooted rom?

Fixing to pass out, try searching the forum for guides. Then try to find a link to a stock rom. Let me know if you can't find anything and I will try to post some links tomorrow. Good luck.

Check this thread it has some roms. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1054818&highlight=flashable+stock+gingerbread Also check the stickies in this forum on flashtool.
Edit: Actually completely ignore what i wrote above and go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343 This has all the info you need!
Using pc companion or seus gives you the option to "install anyway" even if there is no update.
That will give you latest SE firmware.
From there use DooMLoRD's root method.

yeah i tried it but it said that there was no update for my phone even when i went into the repair, would this be beacause of the firmware upgrade?
You didn't get a "install anyway" prompt? If not then check out the link I posted.

You just have to start all over Re-flash back to stock/generic firmware/Rom/BB 2.1.1./Root/xrecovery.
Then login to market then reboot phone.
Go to your Sony software do a repair reboot phone.
Then go to the how to on the Rom you want (if it's Wolfs it is rooted but uses xRecovery 0.3 GBready) and all the links are below just DO NOT MISS a step or you will be doing it all over again but at least you'll know what to do.

My friend try again SEUS, because it's the best way to get a Stock ROM... (I have only the Stock version of X10 Mini Pro)
just being inquisitive but why do you want just the stock 2.1? i would of rather got rid of my phone than use the stock again i used pc companion's support/update when i needed to go back to update fw.
This might help.
what about a clean version of the stock rom? take a look at this rom from pfonck :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1206625

You can use the flash tool, and flash to 2.3.3. All you have to do is type the firmwares on google (make sure you put xda on the end )
Then put your phone in flash mode(its been a long time since I done this(I think you remove your battery. Plug your phone to your PC. Hold the back button while putting your battery back in and you should go into flash mode. (make sure you have the flash tool opened).
Then flash the firmware
OMG. Counter Strike On Android! http://cs-portable.net/
You can restore the previous rom if it have had backup,
If not you can use Sony Ericsson update service (get it from web install on your pc and follow the procedures it says) and get back to stock rom or you can flash stock gingerbread 2.3.3 by flashtool.
Good luck.

If you have a Sony X10 tft file you can flash it via Flashtool.
Using a stock Sony X10i 2.3.3 GB tft firmware file is a safe option if you're having problems.
Using custom ROMs could create additional problems unless you're experienced in installing custom ROMs.
You can also use 'Sony Update Service' to restore the default Sony X10i GB 2.3.3 firmware.
Sony Update Service is the easiest way to restore the default Sony ROM.

If the device is bricked you sometimes can flash a new ftf file using Flashtool .
Is the device stuck in a boot loop (displays se logo then restarts) ?
As far as I know u can flash a new firmware if it is stuck in boot loop (Yes I have done so on mine)
You can find stock firmware here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749426
Good Luck on fixing it.
