Using the latest Vegan experimental build based on gingerbread and loving it. However the market is kicking my butt. It opens and shows apps, although not all apps, and even shows that i have purchased some apps if i come across them in my searches. However the "My Apps" tab is always empty, showing no downloads. I've tried all market fixes i could find and have used market enabler to no avail. Am i the only one with this issue? I should mention that the market was working before with TNT 4.2 and then with Vegan 5.1. Help is appreciated!

seems to be a gingerbread issue with our tabs for the moment. Can't purchase apps either.
Ok,well there is some comfort in numbers! Just curious if i had done something wrong with the install and was the only one havong the problem. Thanks for the info, i'll just keep watching the forums.
Has there been any status on this? Running latest Vegan-Tab 7 Experimental, and now my market myapps is empty as well.
Been using app center app (found in apps section of this forum) to fill in the missing holes from market place works rather well
I've tried every flavor of Gingerbread rom, and it's the same thing on all. When you first install GAPPs, and open the market, everything installed and all purchased apps show up in the "My Apps" section, but as market or something updates, and as soon as you exit that first time it's empty since. When I flashed the latest version of Vegan Ginger back on the 8th I used the universal CM7 gapps off the cyanogen wiki page.

I've still had the empty "My Apps" but am able to download and purchase apps with no problems. As best as I can tell, I have as close to full market as you can get. (Haven't searched for anything that I couldn't find)
Can't find the Market App on Vegan Gingerbread experimental.
Greeting,
I rooted my Gtablet with latest Vegan Gingerbread experimental.
It all went smooth until
Part Three – Install Flash and fix Android Market
Step 3.
Open the Market app. Once it loads close it (press the home button).
I installed flash, but I can't find the Market App of Step 3. Is that expected?
The tablet functions really well in everything else.
Thanks
It's labeled Experimental for a reason. I'm sure when Gojimi gets back from vacation he'll have more time to get more up to date on some of the cm7 fixes. This issue is known in the thread for that rom. If you need a stable market go to 5.1.1. Me I'm dealing with the market woes for now myself.

I wouldn't follow the walkthrough for that step. On the vegan gingerbread thread, gojimi put the market update file there to download. It's on the first post of the thread. Once you install the market with clockwork you can find flash 10.2 in the market. The walkthrough you're following links to 10.1

Thanks,
This tip help clear out my confusion. I expected the market to be there. I had no idea it needed to be installed on it own.
Thanks again
My newbie two-cents
I soft bricked my gtab one hour out of the box, but thanks to the Almighty and you guys I'm running vegan-7 and loving it. Market works great and so does flash. This was my first Rom mode, but it won't be my last. Thanks to all who post here and let the games begin.
I hate to post another thread about market issues, but I've searched everywhere looking for help...
So the error I keep getting from the market is "No matching content in Android Market."
Flashed TnT Lite right away. Market worked fine, but I did the fix anyway. Worked all day yesterday. Today I flashed mad-murdocks new tablet tweaked CM7. Everything worked until I ran the market fix. Ever since then the market has been giving me that error and I can't download any paid apps. Most free apps download fine.
I've tried EVERYTHING. I've wiped and wiped and wiped... etc. I've modifed the build prop (the latest "olympus" fix) I've even gone back to TnT lite, but NOTHING has worked.
Help, please!
I deodexed KI4 for my phone and it seems to run fine except I can't purchase anything from the market now, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the market and various version but it always updates straight back to 3.2.11, if I try to make an in-app purchase from anything like Robotek it just errors on the market with a generic error. "Error has occured please try again later".
Has anyone got a solid solution to this because nothing I have found seems to fix it.
Anyone else having issues with their camera (com.sec.android.app.camera) crashing? If not then I'm going to assume a rogue setting in the sdcard causing the crash but wanted to save the trouble of redoing every setting.
I also realize that this doesn't merit a thread but a simple post would have done fine given that I had authorization as a new member to post in the development forum.
Dev info:
Originally updated from 1.2.0 ->1.2.1 and then 1.2.1 -> 1.3.0 and experienced the crash. So I downloaded 1.3.0 Full Install to do a complete reinstall and still getting the same issue. Which is why I assume that it's settings my sdcard unless the camera is crashing from the quality tweak that is new to the 1.3.0 version.
I just updated from 1.1 to 1.3 and verified functionality of the camera. Works fine for me, for what it's worth.
When you re-installed the full version of 1.3 did you do a complete wipe? Here's the camera apk from the ROM itself just in case you delete it without a backup.
Hey thanks for the help, yup clearing the cache and user data fixed it!
I have just installed CyanogenMod 7.2 for a while. It's said to be based on Android 2.3 but there seems to be some apps which should be compatible but in fact they're not. Like puzzle retreat, it run smoothly on my old android-4.0 device but it's broken so now I have to uset this app on my htc aria. App was installed successfully but when I opened it, a message error appeared constantly so I had to remove it. Why that happened? This app is supposed to be compatible with android 2.3 and up?
And my contemporary OS version: CyanogenMod-7-20130301-NIGHTLY-liberty.
You will need to post more details about the error or a screenshot in order for anyone to help. If you just moved your sd card to the Aria and are expecting it to work, there could be a problem - maybe clear the apps cache/date before launching it (which will erase any info saved by the app)...
Also, if you're sideloading the app, there's a chance it is not compatible with the older version of android - and should be installed from the play store so you can get the compatible version.
