fix messed up HTC-bluetooth
Hi,
I just wanted to play games on my HTC Flyer using my PS3-Controller. Sadly HTC isn't able to build proper bt-drivers, so the sixaxis-app from Google Play isn't compatible with HTC devices. But: CustomRoms such CM should work (cmp. developer faq: dancingpixelstudios.com/sixaxiscontroller/about.html). Since there are no CM roms with working bluetooth for the Flyer, this method won't work.
I found this diagram: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Android-System-Architecture.svg
So, you would fix the bt-issue by compiling a new kernel with another (CM-) bluetooth-driver, don't you? If so, is someone able to do that work?
Would love to play on my Flyer with my PS3-Controller.

Hello all,
Question regarding VPN on the Galaxy 4.0. I'd like to know if anyone has PPTP VPN working with any of the custom ROM's. I have a Galaxy 4.0 right now, and I'm pretty happy with the stock ROM, with the exception of VPN, which I can't get to work. I've read some stuff on google android sites which sounds like the older (and maybe still newer) android versions don't handle VPN well at all. I'm not at all hesitant to root and change ROMs if it will get me VPN (I did it on my Nook Color and was very happy with the improvement), but other than VPN, the stock Galaxy is giving me everything I want, but VPN is important for me. I want to watch French TV on it, and for that I need a French IP, which I get through a French VPN server. Works on an iPad, but the VPN is Galaxy seems poor.
So, if someone has PPTP VPN working on a Galaxy 4.0, could you please let me know what your setup is and I'll go for that. Conversely, if someone knows that VPN just doesn't work on this platform, please let me know that, so I don't waste too much time.
Gracias.

VPN should work, you should download droid VPN and this (for tun module)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aed.tun.installer
Hello zaclimon.
Thanks for the reply. When you say "VPN should work", do you mean that it should work with CM9 like you have, or that it should work with the stock ROM and I'm just doing something wrong?
Also, what is "droid VPN"? Is that an update? An app?
Thanks for the clarification.

It should work with any rooted rom (in theory, I don't have any VPN to verify that). Also DroidVPN is an app that requires you to be registered.
Hi everyone!
I really like how CyanogenMod works because it makes the phone faster than the stock one and also is lighter but the problem is the many bugs it has...
I've tried CM 10.1 but it was impossible to create an APN (so internet navigation in 3G was disabled), then I tried CM 11 (and I'm currently using it) but I can't see videos, send or receive files via bluetooth and sometimes I'm unable to view notification in hangouts (so I installed another application for SMS).
What I'm asking is: is there some Cyanogen ROM for my cellphone that works properly without important bugs? I mean, it doesn't matter if wifi tethering or direct doesn't works, I don't care even if the bluetooth don't works, they are not so important...but I'm searching for a ROM in which APN's and videos works at least...
Is there some CM release like that?
Just to be clear this post is only to ask for help and is not intended to be offensive...I really admire the developers and their hard work because I can imagine how difficult can be developing a ROM!
Thank you very much for your help and your work!
Have become a fond user of Miracast on my tablet recently so was wondering if there were any original Android ROMs that supported it? I have read that no CM/AOSP ROM supports Miracast but apparently there are work arounds? I am currently on the unofficial CM11 that temasek produced and despite having the Cast Screen option in settings I don't think it can find my device to cast to
Never going back to Touchwiz so if anyone knows any simple KitKat ROMs that Miracast works on that would be great
Thanks
Anyone have any help for me?
Anyone help? Would really love an answer or reply, have asked many times in many threads
Hi all,
fairly new to posting in these forums bit been a regular visitor for a long time.
I've looking into ways of sharing an internet connection with others. A repeater would do the job but I also need to log into a website in order to get internet access, this is why th Android solution is the best option.
Using FQRouter2 is the only option on the Play Store that can fullfill this requirement however using the repeater function of the app seem to be limited to having compatible hardware.
google.com/store/apps/details?id=fq.router2
My aim is to get a list of compatible devices to help others that need to achieve the same objective.
So far none of the handset I have (mainly Samsung GT series) have got the repeater function working. If you have got this working could you post the model of your Android device and the firmware version it's running.
Thank you.
It doesn't work for:
Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505
Kitkat 4.4.2
KOT49H.I9505XXUGNJ8
Here it the link to go https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fq.router2
I have been trying to get this working on a rooted Sero 7 Pro and I have been unsuccessful. I think it would be safe to assume that it can be added to the not compatible list.
Can anyone assist with trying to find the most affordable tablet that can support this functionality?
2 phones repeter works on
two phones that works as wifi repeter are #1 lgms323 android ver 4.4.2 from metropcs and #2 is ZTE n9120 android ver 4.0.4 from metropcs.....
can you tell me where i can find out why the lg will not connect to fqrouter
ps of course both phones are rooted
