Hello!
I'd like to buy several apps from the Android market, XDA Premium is one of them.
However, market app or web site says: "This app is incompatible with your Xperia Mini Pro".
I've searched in forums and see that there are several possible workarounds, from using specific (mostly older) version of market app (I've 3.4.4) to setting different screen resolution (mine is set to 160), but I'm not sure whether it's recommended and/or which app to use?
My phone is Xperia Mini Pro (Sk17i), rooted with Easy Rooting Toolkit [v3.0](zergRush Exploit), running Android 2.3.4, build 4.0.2.A.0.58.
How to resolve this issue in order to be able to buy those 'incompatible' apps, including XDA Premium?
Sincerely,
Gour

Edit: The problem was/is that my telephone provider still does not support buying paid apps from the market, but Marker Enabler did the trick.

Hello,
With android market being now open for paids apps in more countries. Google has silently updated the android market to version 2007.
reference: http://market.android.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=190860
however, my phone (rooted, exploid root, 026) has not as of now updated it.
Can others please tell me whether your market app has updated itself or not and why mine might not be updating...
P.S. I had market enabler installed. Which I have just uninstalled.
I've Replied to this, try this trick! It should work for you!

hey thanks a ton
Mine updated itself. But after the update I was unable to download or update any apps. So uninstalled the update and it worked again. Anyone else experienced similar behavior on X10's?

i have my xperia x10a whit R2BA026 rooted whit the exploid x10 mini, and have market access installed, no problem what so ever,,, i know think i can unistall market access, since the use of this app is to give us access to paid apps,, now that market in mexico is able, we can pay apps whit a google account
So I've used stock RB020, Singapore. My market app is still ver. 1668. Now first page already shows the paid apps, but when I go into the "Games" Tab, it only shows Top Free and Just In.. Anyway to update it?
Many thanks..

Hi, Im using ericks latest 2.1 rom with Z kernal.
When trying to download Asphualt HD (5) from the android market (paid version) upon installing im getting package not signed properly. I wondered if that because of the build number and a couple of other things had been changed in the build.prop (the rom has moddifed values) causing this so I changed it to look stock (apart from the kernal one) which hasn't helped.
Some ideas would be more than welcome to get past 'package not signed properly'. I have paid for it legit from the market and want to use it.
Bump?

I've experienced the problem but I have no solution. I get that problem with Launcher Pro. Try speaking with the developer of said application. I never bothered to try this idea but it might help.
Just e-mail the developer... I don't see any solution for this
Thanks for responding, i didnt think there was a solution. I have emailed gameloft twice and im waiting for a reply for them also.

Hi
Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place. I don't think this is an issue specific to my phone model.
I have this really annoying issue. When I go into the Android Market (or Play Store) and I look at my apps it previously showed purchased apps but now it shows all the apps I've ever installed. If I want to install an app I purchased previously I have to search through all the hundreds of apps I have ever installed!
I've tried to find a resolution via Google but I keep getting results showing how to clear market search history.
Does anyone know what I'm referring to and know how to fix this? Like I said, previously before I upgraded to ICS the market only showed installed apps and purchased apps that I haven't installed, now it shows every app I have ever installed and it seems to include apps I installed on my android tablet!
Thanks
Lee

Welcome to the new play store. This is intentional and functions the same as the iOS app store.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Its an annoying idea. We should at least have the option to turn it off. If I try an app and don't like it I uninstall it, why would I want to constantly see an app that I don't want! Haha.
I like Android because, among other things, it isn't iOS.
Thanks
Lee

Hi to all, I searched over the internet but found no solution.. a friend of mine needs a tablet designed app to run on his android phone (not rooted galaxy s2). Is it possible to achieve this? The market says that the device is not compatible with the app, but I suppose is a dpi issue but don't know how to fix it..
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi.
I had to do a factory reset on my X10 MiniPro and for some reason the Yahoo Sportacular App isn't availble in the Store anymore.
This was literally my most used app BY FAR. From the official PLAY store I get a message that it's not compatible with my phone,
but I used the app 15mins before my reset. So could anyone PLEASE find or provide me with an older version of the app that would work
with me phone?
Thanks in advance, hopefully someone can help me out here.

I you probably had the oldest compatible Version installed on your phone, yahoo might have made an (incompatible) update long ago. When you wiped your phone, it only showed you the newest, incompatible version...
Search Google for an older version of the app.
