I downloaded and installed the new update and now my wireless tether is not working. Did it indoor my phone? Thanks

Yes, it will unroot your razr. It did it to mine, but I installed voodoo before I updated so I could easily restore my root.

I605VRAMC3 root question

Will OTA rootkeeper work with the I605VRAMC3 update or will I lose root and need to use another root method? Currently on Stock ROM with locked bootloader, rooted only.
To answer my own question, I just updated and root was successfully restored using OTA rootkeeper.
Thanks for sharing this info. Glad you were able to figure it out.

What rooting program are you using??? I've updated my phone and ready to root however I'm getting an error when trying to use No You Verizon Casual R478.
My phone was already rooted before updating, I used OTA rootkeeper to temporarily disable root before updating then restored root using the app. I originally rooted by flashing the root-injected firmware. When I bought the phone it was already on VRALL4, I flashed the root-injected VRALJB image then used OTA rootkeeper to disable root and updatedback to VRALL4. OTA rootkeeper work for the VRAMC3 update as well.

[Q] Android 4.3 OTA Voodo Rootkeeper Restore Root Issue

All,
I upgraded to 4.3 Cyanogenmod unofficial ROM about 2 weeks ago and have been enjoying it ever since. I attempted to use OTA Vodoo rootkeeper to fool Sky Go into working which didn't work. Then I noticed that my root was disabled. I had managed to force it to work by enabling Apps and ADB. Whilst playing around in OTA rootkeeper I accidentally deleted su backup, but I did then press unroot and backup immediately after. My question is how can I restor root access ? Am I going to have to use Odin ? Annoyingly according to the OTA rootkeeper I have root access but Rootchecker Basic says I don't. Any suggestions ?

[Q] Is There Root Process For I337UCUFNJ5?

[Q] Is there root process for I337UCUFNJ5?
Hello,
Recently there was a firmware OTA sent out from ATT for the Galaxy S4 SGH-I337.
Prior to this I rooted the phone using towelroot.
Of course after the update I lost my root and now I want to root it again!
Will I have to reflash an older firmware (NJ4) or does anyone know of a process to root this current firmware NJ5?
I took the update also. Lost root. I then used Odin to flash the I337_NC1_Stock_Kernel. Have Towel root v3 on phone before flashing since I lost wifi and data after the flash. Run towelroot and its rooted. Then odin I337_NJ4_Stock_Kernel on. Its rooted. Use Titanium to stop update of NJ5. Until someone figures out how....
