Hi everyone,
ive got the folliwing problem.
My Setup:
i got an HD2 (WM 6.5.3 Ver 5.2.23576; Radio 2.07.51.22_2). I use my incar audio system to hook up the phone via a 3,5 headphone jack to my soundsystem.
So everything works fine except when i make or get an call.
The Caller or the called party is hearing themselves twice (an no, i dont put my audio system volume to max ;-))
I think its an software issue, as when i make a call over the phone internal speaker (handsfree) there is no such problem.
btw before the hd2 i had an iPhone with the same setup and there where no such problems.
so is anyone aware of an hix for this?
I use the Samsung official SGS2 Car dock with an audio cable to my car DVD sytem. When navigating with Google Maps and playing music the phone routes the audio to my car speakers. That's working good.
When I have an incoming call my ringtone comes over the speaker, but when I accept the call the voice is being routed over my phone-speakers.
Is there a custom ROM / mod / app who can fix this?
Bonus question: Why can't the SGS2 use the top 3.5 mm as a video output for my DVD player? Even the Nokia n95/n97 could do this. Anyone?
Thanks
Someone ? Thnx
Dont think anyone knows the answer right ?
Try to go into Bluetooth settings, there you can find all your authorized devices. Long tap on your car device will bring you into services list. Check or uncheck required services. Probably it will help you.
Hello,
i have the same problem.... some a answer for this?
only Calls over the internal speaker.. other sounds over the car-system.
hope some rom could fix this.
facing same prob.
i read somethink and some developers told that, the kernal must root the audio to the docking station.... its a app in the market for this, but its dosn`t work....
i think its the same problem like the galaxy 1...
Hi there,
I was wondering if there is anyway to make SoundHound or Shazam to detect musics that played from Internet radio, ie "tunein" or alikes, that usually plays only if you plug your headphones in?
It seems SoundHound and Shazam can only detect incoming sound using the phones mic, so if nothing is going to mic it will not detect anything at all.
I saw in a post from a Sony Xperia user that he accidently made it working but i think its only for that particular phone.
It would be nice to know if anyone has any workarounds/mods to make this work on any android device?
I think its phone dependent. For example, I have the HTC One, which let's me use SoundHound with audio I'm listening to with earphones. It may require special drivers, like how some PCs let you use what you hear on the computer as a recording device (Stereo Mix). That's the best way I can explain it, you need a device or kernel or ROM that has this "stereo mix" style feature
sorry don't get confuse like a google,
I WANT TO USE MY COMPUTER'S MIC as ANDROID MIC,
means whatever i speak in my computer mic, it get catch by android to answer calls or record in for dubblr or other apps like skype..
please suggest me app or any tweak , using android ICS rooted karbonn a25 5inch mobile
I dont know if it's a hardware problem.
I used 4 pin external mic on my LG G5:

(this mic actually has only 2 working wires - 3rd an 4th rings are connected to MIC, and top 1st and 2nd rings are not connected to anything, they are just empty).
when I use them on my android LG G5, i can record from this microhpone very well (phone sees it), but when i connect output from external Wireless receiver ( which exactly outputs microphone voice/audio on the same 3rd and 4th rings:

, then my phone cant see the voice from such applicance...
(however, when i connect headset into that receiver, i hear voice in headphones).
So, receiver outputs the voice correctly, but why LG G5 cant see that case?
The interesting thing is that my another android phone (Motorola Turbo 2 ) can obtain voice from that line well...
I am a bit technician and tried to manually cut & connect lines to every possible combination, but in none of the case the LG G5 can obtain the voice from appliance... any help is appreciated
I think it can be sth with detecting Jack plug in g5... I have constant problem using aux cables.. I must put them multiple times to get them to work properly... Opo had similar issue but it was solved on custom roms only.. maybe some voltages are problematic for g5 dunno but it's real life issue for me...
It could be an electronic problem, meaning that this external microphone is not suitable for your G5.
Either case, I would try installing "SoundAbout"; which is a pretty nifty app that lets you re-route your sound to any of the phone components manually.
I would then tell it to pick up your voice from the mic.
It's a free app and doesn't require root.
