Has anyone tried this? I downloaded and tried putting a video in there and it didn't go in the vault, yet its not in my gallery. I don't think it deleted, but how would I find the video. Thanks in advance. I've already tried sdcard/scum/.thumbnails with no success

I'm trying to install Bell's gingerbread update for my Atrix but it appears I'm missing the / preinstall / app / "Gameloft_3games.zip" file. I have the bell system dump downloaded that contains all the apps and other random stuff but I cant seem to find the gameloft_3games.zip file. Can someone help me out here?? Maybe share their file with me or maybe tell me what the zip contains so I can try and build a new one?

I have the same issue, I've tried OTA and offline install, also tried modding the update zip to remove the gameloft_3games.zip, but the file is signed and the verify fails...

I tried creating a zip file and inside of it, I put the apks of the 3 demo gameloft games that came stock with the phone. It didn't work, So I tried making another zip and I dumped every single file in it from the / app folder renaming it to gameloft_3games.zip and that never worked either. So theirs obviously some other kind of files in there that we need...
exact same problem someone please help!
edit: you guys found a solution yet? i've been told on other forums that i think it is the rooting method we used that removed that gameloft file.. i think apparently ATT phones don't need that file or something..so i'm trying to figure out how to get that file back now..
If you do some searching for gameloft_3dgames.zip you'll find a zip of the stock 2.2.2 files available for download. I was able to push the gameloft_3dgames.zip to /data/local/tmp/, remount /preinstall/ read/write, copy it in there, set permissions to 644, remount read-only, reboot, and then apply the update successfully.

Anyone know where is the X and Y "crop" values in contacts.apk ? I would like to increase the number of dip/px to portrait crop instead of square and have a better picture.

You can try apktool and apk sign for edit apk file.
I use them for translate apk file and don't have any problem

I tried directly with apktool it instantly FCs, have something to do with the compression, was getting the same result with apk_manager till I set compression to 0.
Any help plz, im stuck :/
Figured out: some file can be modified and we can use phone.apk with root explorer but some file need to be loaded after flashing in the recovery.

When using the Wanamlite ROM I have found that when double clicking the home buttton it doesn't bring up the Vlingo voice service. Does anyone know how to re-enable this?
I tried to copy the androidpolicy.jar file from his deoxed rom and paste it into my framework folder, but this did not work.
Any help would be grateful.

I'm just curious- do you actually use it for anything?
I've tried to put that file in my frame work folder, but it still didn't work. I went to root explorer and copied it in. Is that all I have to do to get it to work? Will I have to do a reboot using cwm? Also, I use my phone as a sat nav sometimes, so the driving mode is great. It reads messages to you.
So i tried to get the camera mod for the g3. Don't know what I did but it crashes everytime. I just want it back to normal. I don't know of this is the cause but i accidently replaced the media_profiles.xml in /etc NOT /system/etc so if possible can someone give me the stock xml from /etc and the stock config.xml in /system/etc and the stock LGCameraapp and LGCamera.odex. Whether or not it fixes i just want the original files back in place. Please and thank you
After I used a camera mod I was getting hit with Force closes whenever I initially launched the camera. After I did some internet digging I finally found the stock files BUT after installing and setting it up properly I could use my camera to take pictures but trying to take a video would force close the app again. My final solution was to just try different Mods.
