Hi
I have stock 2.3.4/4.5.2A ROM.
WiFi 2.4 doesn't recognize channels 11+, stops on 10th only. Is it a ROM limitation of the Atrix's hardware so primitive?
Any custom ROMs with wider channel support?
I particularly interested in channels 13-14.
Thanks.

Since the official 2.1 update came out I'm having a problem with mobile tv provided by T-Mobile Netherlands. They just don't buffer also our public broadcaster's streams don't work either over 3G, with wifi activated I can stream everything but with 3G activated it doesn't work at all.
Does anybody knows why this is happening and what can I do about it, (I dont like stock roms because I just can't get used to the ugly homescreens, I just love sense).

Stock radio which is provided with the OTA update, my 3G connection is good (all bars are full), youtube streaming works, it has something to do with RTSP, with my N97 at the same location I can use streaming (the stream shows up after just a few seconds) with 1.5 I never had problems
Hi all,
I need to thether my 3G connection with my satellite linux-based receiver but I have some problems with the built-in wifi module (n standard).
Probably the drivers are not well developed but I experience some random lags (for example I ping it 2ms then 650ms the 45ms etc...) also with my linksys router.
I had to switch to 802.11g only in the router's option to have the receiver working properly.
But now I have the same problem with my S3: the receiver connects @ 150Mbps (so 802.11n) during the tether with the same random lags...
Can I select a lower max speed (a different standard, 802.11g in this case) in the Galaxy S3 (also with external tethering software, the phone is rooted)?
Can I set it for the whole wifi section (I think that also the tethering will go at that speed)?
Thank you very much for the support!
Same problem here
I have this very same problem with my SGS3. My older laptop can't use SGS3 tethering because it lacks 802.11.n. I would really love to know of a way to force 802.11.g tethering on my S3. I'm not capable to root my phone, so it has to be some setting or app.
Is there anyone that knows how to do this?
I just got a Netgear Push2TV 3000, which not only encompases WiDi, but Miracast support in this version.
From what my indersstand is though, is that both these WiDi and Miracast technologies are basically just wireless HDMI anyway.
My question is if it's possible to come up with a mod to work to allow any (or at least most) rooted phones with a ROM like CM that intergrate Miracast into their settings for every build?
Just wondering if this was possible. This would be a really welcomed feature,
PS...I did try doing just that with my droid 4 running CM 10,1 with its wifi direct setting..it said it was connectining, anazingly...but nothing else after that. =/
Anyway, if anybody know if **** is at all possoble accomplish, please let me know, if you could. Thanks.
Hey there. Connecting via WiFi Direct through the Settings menu only sets up the layer 3 connection. To make a function like Miracast work, you need a Miracast-supported app to sit on top of WiFi Direct. MiraCast is a standard that is certified by the same governing body as the one that certifies WiFi Direct, so MiraCast is actually built on top of WiFi Direct. WiDi is an Intel led standard that nobody uses.
i would love to see an app capable of this be developed, it would be awesome to be able to display the screen on my phone on the TV without wires
Trying to get one for my wifi, we stream HD videos so we will need 5G wifi. Does it support 5G wifi?
Yes it is both 2.4 and 5 ghz compatible
Bluetooth v5 introduced a feature named dual audio, through which audio can be played from a single phone to two different speakers/headphones connected over Bluetooth.
Where is this feature in our phone? Even the recent update ColorOS 7.1, this feature is still missing!
please let me know if this feature is available.
Samsung already has the feature
Realme has.......sort of a similar feature

The option you are showing is the feature to connect multiple devices via Bluetooth, which is support to 5 at the same time with possibility of different Bluetooth profiles and I know about this.
Dual Audio feature means to share same Bluetooth profile of "Media Playback" to 2 devices at the same time.
I've tried, but our phone, as of 31st July, still doesn't support sharing Media Playback profile with 2 devices. It will switch the device, if i tend to change it, keeping the profile locked on to just 1 device.
On the other hand, I've tried testing the Samsung's feature and it shares the same profile with 2 different speakers. Bluetooth v5 has the capability to support this by default. Thus, its up to OPPO to provide the software support to it.

Like I said...I don't use it, but thought that might have helped.
Since I upgraded to ColorOs7.0 my Lypertek Tevi Bluetooth headphones now connect each individual earbud with its own Bluetooth connection. The Bluetooth symbol then states 2 devices are connected. The latency in games is massively reduced Vs ColorOS6 where only 1 earbud connected and then the buds talked to each other. Is that the feature you're referring to?
