Isn't this the changelog of Windows Phone 8107 update? It could be that Nokia firmware 11501 incorperates WP update 8107 and therefor mentions it in the changelog. Because of this i don't think this list is complete.
Yes that's the WP changelog.
Hopefully the firmware is the battery capacity increase
Hoping this gets released to the UK sooner rather than later!!
I've just flashed one of the firmwares from DPM, here is what is new:
1) Battery Issue: Fully and totally resolved
2) Improved diagnostic tool with many more features (APN, HSDPA, detailed battery, a strange "usb hub" setting)
3) Integrated "Network Setup" tool from Nokia to change network settings with sim card changes
Awesome Nokia

Yes, you can flash anything on anything, the only condition is that the firmware must be for RM-801 model, product code does not matter.

Just install Nokia Care Suite 5.0 from here , then launch the program and then connect the phone.
If it does not work, you may have to manually install WINusb drivers in C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Care Suite\Drivers
I made it to! Today shows up more variants in navifirm like UK ones.

About the battery issue you can confirm when it's full charged you have ~1500 / 1500 mAh?
Yes. Is just under 1500mAh.
Nice!
Have you seen others changes related to performance or other?
Does new firmware have Wifi tethering enabled?
Guys, two quick questions,
1. What is DPM?
2. Did anyone get the update on an unbranded Lumia 800? I am in DE but the phone is unbranded.

Hi Everyone,
I have just joined Giffgaff in the UK as service provider. They use O2 network so they are classed as a "virtual provider" as far as I know.
I have entered the APN info in order to get on the net and send mails and all works great. But, I cannot send MMS.
>there is no place in the OS to enter MMS details
>on MSFT site it said that the phone will read the SIM on first boot assuming ADC is enabled.
>I reset the phone and still no MMS
> I ring Nokia and they tell me that ADC is in fact enabled in unlocked Lumias.
>how can I check this?
>others say to install the network setup app but I can't because I don't have the very latest firmware
>some have tried this and now say that Giffgaff is not in the drop down menu so therefore can't be used.
So, as I am chevron unlocked, is there any way to change registry settings to ensure that ADC is enabled and therefore hopefully read the info from the sim card?
As long as your phone is debranded the handset should read the SIM card settings after a hard reset.
You should also be able to install the Network Setup app once it is released again (hopefully soon) after it was taken down to be updated.
If your phone isn't debranded then hard resetting won't help and you won't be able to install the Network Setup app. You won't even be able to see it in the Marketplace.
See this thread for more information on debranding.
See this thread for more information on Network Setup app/MMS/ADC.
Thanks for this great info. My phone was bought from Clove and is supposed to be unlocked. There is no branding other than Nokia. The problem is, I think, the fact that ADC may not be enabled even though it is unlocked. I called Nokia to make sure and they told me that all unlocked phones had ADC enabled and it was only carrier phones that had this functionality disabled. I somehow do not believe this.
If auto data config is not enabled then the info on the sim, card canot be read. And I reset my phone in the hope that I could get the MMS details this way but no success. I have read elsewhere as well that even I can get the network setup app from marketplace it will still not work because Giffgaff are not included as a service provider at this stage. Oh, what to do. WHy could MSFT not have given us this functionality within the OS in the same way as our old winmo platform.:-(
Network Setup app has been available for awhile already, at least for me. I just received an update for it through Marketplace this morning.

Network setup is not even in my marketplace because I am running 11451 firmware and it is only available in th every latest firmware (according to Nokia). And anyway, even if I had network setup available to me there is no mention of Giffgaff as a provider so I still cannot get MMS settings on my unlocked Nokia Lumia 800. What we need is either a MSFT update allowing us to change MMS settings or Nokia to include Giffgaff on their app. I think its that simple.
The network setup app came avalible today in the UK.
It would install and run but still couldnt send MMS on a vodafone branded device, so ive just debranded and its all working fine.
So i can now send and recive MMS
We need to get Giffgaff included on Nokia network setup app; simple as!

I have an 801 & 819 black lumia.... i loaded 1750.805.8779.12221....which can be found in Navifirm under Nokia Lumia 800 (RM-819), it has all the updates from previous ver. but this ones contains a new nokia network setup app(it works perfectly just make sure you reboot afterwords) I have data, MMS,Live services all work. I am using straight talk service in U.S: I picked the Variant: 059P453: Nokia 800 RM-819 Country Variant Thailand TH Matt Black v2. both phones work great....::good::good::good: oh yea the app is part of the os. so you want have to download it....
Did you use the Straight Talk recommended settings? I either have Live services working or MMS but not both.
Since the most recent version (v2.5.0) af the app was released way after the firmware update I doubt that version is included in it. But with the app widely available now it's water under the bridge..
If the stuff works, I guess he dont need the newest version though.
I had quarrels in the beginning with the setup as well but in the latest OS versions like .12220 it works nicely from 1st bootup

In the access point name box enter "att.mvno"
Scroll down to MMS access point name and enter any name.
Beneath this box enter "66.209.11.33" as the proxy. Enter "80" as the proxy port, and "http://mmsc.cingular.com" as the "MMSC address".

So I have an S6 Edge running on EE but bought from the carphone warehouse. As such, I have recently found out that I cannot use WiFi calling as that is only available on handsets that have come directly from EE.
My first question is why is this? Is it something to do with IEMI numbers of trusted devices to make sure that only known phones can access that part of the network? Or is it that they put a different software build on the phone?
The 2nd question is that if it is a software difference, do we think it will ever be possible to enable this ourselves?
I'm quiet annoyed that I was told that I could use WiFi calling by the Carphone Warehouse when I bought the phone. Apparently it is only iPhones that are on EE that can use it if they haven't come directly from EE
You will be able to flash EE software via odin when released or in the short term you could get a refund from carphone as you have been miss sold if they guaranteed you wifi calling
Assuming that it is software that enables it then yep, I guess flashing is an option unless anyone can find where the difference is in the phone application (assuming that's where it is). Maybe its just a switch somewhere....
Damn, that's annoying. I was looking forward to having that feature, my parents house is in the back of beyond so I never get signal when I visit them.
If anyone has an EE supplied device, maybe you can check your build number to see if it matches my Carphone Warehouse one and maybe identify if there's just a build difference or something on EE's side that enables WiFi calling.
My build no: LRX22G.G925FXXU1AOCV

Got my phone from EE and the build number is:
LRX22G.G925FXXU1AOCY
Is the WiFi calling option completely missing or does it just not work?
The toggle in the phone application isn't there. Not sure how big the change set is between the 2 builds, I don't know much about decompiling android stuff either or where the configuration settings would be stored. Maybe someone here can shed some light on it...
I have exactly the same issue. My phone was bought from the Samsung Store in London (Carphone Warehouse in disguise) and I have no wifi calling option either.
Have any of you guys who want WiFi Calling rooted yet?
I ask because there are some files in the CSC folder that mentions WiFi Calling being enabled and such, so it may be either missing or set to False on other models and may just need changing.
I think flashing this EE firmware should enable this feature. I'm in same boat, EE from car phone warehouse. I can test if you want but it. Won't be for a few days as our Internet is out. I'm not really intrested in this feature as i get good coverage but it would be cool to try It.

I would imagine that would work.
For those of you who do get the option don't forget to text "Wifi calling" to 150 to get it activated on EEs side
Currently downloading both the EE firmware and my original firmware (just in case) and will see what happens on my S6 Edge. I see Kies is no longer supported so I guess I should use Smart Switch to do this rather than Odin?
Need my phone this morning for some development work so will try and flash that firmware this afternoon with Odin and will report back.

I flashed it, but no extra options appeared, but checking EE's website , they say you just make the call with no signal and it will connect via wifi instead , not sure how reliable this information is....
anybody else have any luck?

I would expect you to see the toggle for it in the phone application as per these setup instructions. Did you register by texting "wifi calling" to 150 also?

Did you flash the EE baseband too? Maybe it has something to do with the modem?
Download a Root Explorer and have a look in the CSC folder in System and post what the files in there contain?

In the phone type *#1234# and see what the CSC code is.
There are apps in the Play Store that let you change the CSC for the device, but I don't know whether they work for the s6 or not.
It's probably something to do with CSC though. You could try copying the CSC files from an EE firmware into the System Folder, but I have no idea if this will work or not.
CSC.zip (This is the CSC folder from my System Folder on EE s6 Edge)
Root.Zip (These 2 files were in the system folder, not in the CSC folder)

Bravo. That did it. Now have wifi calling enabled. Not that I'll use it but. It might come in handy one day.
and i have no way of testing it actually functions but the option is there in phone setting now
This just needs to be made in to a flashable zip to make it a little bit easier For some peole.
P.s just realised I'm not even on EE firmware any more reflashed this morning to stock u.k. so this should work for anyone.
the amazing thing we can do when we all work together. Really do love this community . Hope this helps someone out. If it does remember to give lakobos a big thank you.

Same here. If you just want to access the network settings you can download an app like "ForceLTE" or similar.
I'm facing the same problem, I am appreciated if anyone have the solution?
Check your carrier and location
Whether you can use VoLTE or not depends on a few things:
* Your location, your account with your carrier, and the model of your phone.
* The carrier, carrier account, location, and phone model of the person you're calling.
* Some carriers support VoLTE only in certain cities or area codes. Contact your carrier to ask about your area and account.

Thanks for your reply, the problem is I have no problem to have VOLTE by using Galaxy S10 with same sim card and I couldn't find the volte "switch" in the oppo UI and couldn't turn on/off. As a result couldn't use the VOLTE function. Therefore I do think it is the firmware problem from Oppo.
I just thinking about if I could flash the official Taiwan rom of same global phone model to my current one for solving the problem. But I'm not sure if it is workable or not.

Ah. I have CPH1919 (UK) and only option is call over Wi-fi. There is also no way to get to the hidden service menu either like in every other phone I've had.
If you know for sure that Taiwan firmware has it, then I suppose, in theory, it would work providing that it is also definitely CPH1919 - any other variant has different partition structure. Be careful. Read around and let us know. Good luck
I have a CPH1919TW, it's using the same global firmware as CPH1919EX (even Oppo TW provides CPH1919EX ROM for download), the phone will ID itself as CPH1919TW.

May I know if your phone have the VOLTE enable switch in the network manual?
The phone is relatively new and since it's not mainstream most carriers don't support it yet. Some people say they have VoLTE enabled and it works but I personally switched to Singapore EX and it seems VoLTE isn't detected at all so I started digging and it seems this issue is present in most Chinese phones. (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-activate-volte-and-vowifi-simple-and-clear.4116051/) In this thread they used the Qualcomm tool and exploit the bug in EngineerMode on OnePlus phones which we don't have an access to and since we can't root or unlock the bootloader we can't modify build.prop or change any system files.
-----Maybe it's my carrier, maybe it's the Singapore ROM so please if VoLTE and VoWifi works for you could you post here which country you're on, which ROM version and if you changed region before or not.------
First a warning: If you aren't tech-savvy, experiencing issues or want to potentially turn your phone in a paper weight do NOT try this at the moment. We do not have the tool to restore your phone back (wiping data might work but idk). You can send your phone to Oppo for repair but you might have to wait for a month or two.
I don't know if you need to unlock your phone from the other thread to have access to this mode(I did have it all decrypted during this test) but in addition to the *#808# engineer mode and *#*#4636#*#*(Where you can check if you have VoLTE enabled) I found we have access to *#36446337#.
In *#36446337# I managed to enter "Protocol test switch" -> "MBN TEST" and switch my profile from Common-Commercial(I think it was this one) to Commercial-DT-VOLTE. The phone rebooted and everything is fine but "MBN Validate" is giving me an error when I run it and I can't test if it works because I'm currently out of the country and my temporary SIM provider doesn't support VoLTE.
It's probably nothing and the error is because of the lack of developer files on the ROM but I need people who can test if these profiles act like the flashing from the Qualcomm tool in the thread mentioned above.
So once again if you don't have VoLTE enabled and are feeling a bit courageous - give it a try.
I think the problem maybe for those that changed to Pakistan build on Android 10 and then switched to Singapore ex to get ColorOS 11 and dual SIM meant that things like VoLTE do not work on those builds.
I did it a different way as wasn't bothered about dual SIM. I was on A.46 UK , waited for EU to get ColorOS11 , then switched to EUEX on sec5 and downloaded ColorOS11 c.57 through Belgium VPN.
VoLTE is working for me. it's not present in SIM settings( WiFi calling is) however when I look at my call log there is a VoLTE HD icon next to all my calls, so is working.
Since being on ColorOS11, I have tried several different regions on SEC tool, EUEX dual SIM, Singapore EX, back to GB CPW to check still works and now back to EUEX. Build number always changes to different region in about phone when I have made any changes and check however VoLTE has always remained working for me and is showing as provisioned in engineer mode.
I am from Germany and have a phone with Vodafone FW originally. I switched region to Singapore EX, than installed the Pakistan FW and got C.5 and C.6 via OTA. I switched the region to EUEX (DUAL SIM) and didn't receive the update to C.57, so I switched back to Singapore EX and got the update to C.57 when using VPN Hongkong, which was quite funny.
VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling is working fine with Vodafone, but you can't toggle it in the hidden service menu, it's just active! You can activate or deactivate Wi-Fi calling in the regular settings, but VoLTE is just there, you can't deactivate it.
Both Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE are shown in the bar on the top. With the former Vodafone FW, VoLTE was not shown with an icon, but it was nevertheless working.
Hy here T-Mobile shown volte and Vodafone don't shows but on the status bar there is the volte symbol

I am in the same boat as you. I rebranded to Singapore to get ColorOS 11 update, to use 2 SIM and Call Recording, along with Theme Store, etc.
While on my previous phone (Xiaomi Mi9) I had VoLTE and VoWiFi and my carrier supports them and my SIM has that activated by my carrier, on Oppo Find X2 Pro it seems for them to work is needed special Modem Profile for the concrete carrier you use.
My Carrier is not listed at MBN Test Menu, I tried all the profiles available there, all Commercial ones and all Volte Branded ones and they are not giving me VoLTE and VoWiFi options available in Menu or VoLTE or VoWiFi functionality.
This method used to work on Xioami and Commercial EU Carriers profiles gave me the VoLTE and VoWiFi functionality with just Activity Shortcut access to this menu on Mi9 and simple dialer code to activate VoLTE and VoWiFi switch in Settings.
Oppo Find X2 Pro is not sold officially in my country and by all carriers here and that is why there is no Carrier Volte Profile for carriers from my country and thus it is not possible to activate VoLTE and VoWiFi with other Carrier Profile from MBN Test Menu.
Maybe if we find a way with a Dialer Code or some menu to activate the VoLTE and VoWiFi switch in Settings first this profiles from MBN Test menu will work...
I am out of ideas for now.

I'm pretty sure they force disable most of this stuff with region profiles (/etc/oppoRegion* folders)
At this point I honestly care more about GDPR protection,VoLTE and removing tencent/heytap crap than call recording and theme store which I don't use anyway.
So my plan atm is to wait for Oppo to release android 11 .57 .ozips so that I can flash back to european firmware then I'll see if changing region to EUEX Dual-SIM works and it's limitations.
This method might help people on EU roms with VoLTE, and I'll test it myself in the future, but at least for now *#36446337# lets us adjust MTU, 4G bands and some other smaller network optimizations.
Okay I don't know where to post this but I found *#649010# and this is where it gets into the spooky territory. I never tried toggling any of the options but I think "Full-port switch" option lets us connect our phone to the qualcomm diagnose tool just like the OnePlus phones from the Carrier profiles thread. I'm just documenting this code here so we know we have an alternative to the OnePlus LogKit.apk option in our Oppo phones.

For some reason, non of these codes work for me now after doing the region change a couple of times.

We keep telling people - you gotta unlock every time you change region and even then the unlock lasts a fixed amount of time ex. 24 hours before it locks itself again

Unfortunately, the tool no longer works for me to unlock, the codes don't work. I'm stuck.

Works for me no issue. Try adding cloudflare dns to your setup, tether your phones connection to your pc while disabling your main connection and adding the number values from the original thread, fiddle with the loopback driver, disable firewall in windows or your router. Everyones connection and setup is different you just gotta find a way to make it work on yours.
Tl;dr it works you just got to tinker with it

I am in the same boat as you. I rebranded to Singapore to get ColorOS 11 update, to use 2 SIM and Call Recording, along with Theme Store, etc.

Did you have the call recording option right after you switched region? I changed to Singapore Ex right after I got the phone, didn't see that option. Then I upgraded to ColorOS11, still did not find that option.

You have to give permissions to 'Recording' app, then open enable it in 'Call Settings'

Do you mean recorder App?
Already given all permission but still no call recording option, and the recorder only has cloud sync on its setting
