I know issues like these can suck. But please post in the right section.
Eg. Q&A / General.
As for the phone, do you have a recovery installed? Just boot into recovery mode and flash a new ROM.

no i don't

Follow these instructions (first sticky in the dev section):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432
That will return your phone back to stock.
Sent from my Galaxy S II (i777)

After Odining back to stock, enter stock recovery and do a wipe data/factory reset.
Which is in the very first post of the thread Quarlow linked...
creepyncrawly has a more detailed guide in the General section that is stickied.

[Q] Can't go back to Stock :( Help?

So I was using MIUI and now I want to go back to stock. I tried ODIN back to 2.3.4 and now I'm in a bootloop with the AT&T splashscreen.
Any help would be awesome!
What is 2.3.4? Sorry if I'm missing something obvious
Personally I'd try to get into recovery by holding all three buttons until i see CWM recovery and then wipe everything and format it, throw it in download mode and try with one of the Odin usable stock PDAs in this thread:

I did the ODIN to get back to stock before and it didn't work, but when I wiped the data and cache, I tried the ODIN again, and it work flawlessly! Thanks for the reply.
When I said 2.3.4, i was talking about the version of Android that came with the phone when it came out.
To go to 2.3.4 you should follow the steps detailed in "return to stock" in android development section.
If you have CWM enabled then flash another rom like SHStock or UnNamed, but they are 2.3.6 based not 2.3.4
Sry typed wrong "return to stock" is posted in General Section. below is the URL
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313659
Did you even bother to scan the stickies in general or Development before posting? There is a sticky with exactly this info in it if you just try a little to find it.
It appears that you should start with this thread:

That said, this thread is fairly redundant, and i will close it for now. Please search in the future before posting threads like this.

After rebooting I noticed that the back button and search button no longer worked, and i can't hear, or be heard on phone calls.
How can I revert back to stock and try this all over again? Thanks for any help guys.
Just tried this guide: [KERNEL] ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.3 // Initramfs Template for Devs - xda-developers for installing CWM, but Odin just returns with 'fail'.. .
Also tried this thread:[Heimdall][Odin][Stock+Root]UCKH7 Stock kernel, rooted system, modem (aka Unbrick) - xda-developers
Update: Fixed the problem. Not quite sure how, but here's what I know... Heimdall was telling me about a libusb error so I uninstalled and reinstalled keis. Heimdall still wouldn't accept the 480mb pda.tar (original firmware) file so I went back to odin. After a few false starts, odin was able to accept the GT-I9100_clockwork file. After that I tried the pda.tar file again and it installed. After a reboot all was back to normal."which is not my phone now I cannot pass the set up wizard due to everything force closing any help? I cannot enter Clock Work recovery only download mode

Now that lead me to this post at the XDA forums Here.
I tried looking for the EXE he posted about with google fu but it turned up no results. So Now im stuck with this screen here.
Now for a TD;LR
Model : SGH-i777
Problem: Frame Work Services Closes at setup
Have you used a search?: Yes
Carrier : Unactivated AT&T
No, you didn't search, you didn't even read the first post of the return-to-stock thread you linked!
Now, wouldn't you consider the behavior you describe as "wacky"? YES.
Does the post describe what to do if you experience anything "wacky"? YES.
Did you follow the instructions in that post for what to do if something is "wacky"? NO.
You need to reflash and the links you posted are the ones you need to read/follow. Trust me, the information is there if you read.
Also, if you do in fact have a I9100 and not an i777 then you need to check out the i9100 forum while your at it.

I see your post count and realize you cannot post in the development section yet. that should not however stop you from reading. maybe you have but you may not have read the whole thread. i know that may seem like a daunting task, it is for me. so what I o is go to the most recent post or last page and start reading backwards. that way I get the most up to date information even on an older thread as you are referring to.
if you did that you would have seen a post from AGOATTAMER.
http://rootgalaxynote.com/galaxy-note-i717-roms/how-to-root-att-galaxy-note-sgh-i717-icsgingerbreadeasiest-method/
this is also the method I used. believe me, if I can pull it off, anybody can.
more tips..............
make sure you have all the files you need
rehearse the process
I know it sounds crazy, but these phones aint cheap and if you mess it up, can be pretty screwed.
so what is more valuable???? your phone or acting crazy and talking to yourself for a few minutes.
if you can still get download mode, your good, no brick
good luck
You flashed an older incompatible kernel with a newer ROM, but I guess you know that now. Flash the stock ROM found here using odin.
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/213010140/75bf7e2/I717RUXMD1_I717RRWCMD1_RWC.zip.html
Go into recovery after install and do a factory reset. Then start over. Many have used the link that captemo has mentioned. There are newer versions of recovery than the one listed on that site but it will get you rooted. Look at this thread also. Since you are installing the stock ROM via odin you will not have to deal with the script mentioned here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485336
Just flash twrp with Odin, don't reboot into android, not directly into recovery after the flash finishes...
In recovery wipe data/factory reset.
When you go to boot it'll see you're not rooted and ask if you want to.
The easiest method to root.

Yikes. As far as getting your data back on a non-stock rom...that eliminates possibility of flashing with Odin...
After prowling around a little bit I saw this guide... it claims that some GSII boot problems are due to kernels. Try flashing a stock (or older CM) kernel. http://chaladi.me/2012/11/30/solved...otingstuck-galaxy-s2variants-kernel-problems/
Other than that, this one "might" wipe data but try re-flashing CM thru Odin? If not then try flashing back to stock ROM through Odin, make sure not to check wipe data, but by doing that you'll definitely get bootloop. Hopefully you get enough time window to use adb.
Good luck,

Tried flashing Kernel (Siyah and CM Stock) but odin returns me FAIL, or get stuck on WRITE NAND...
Any ideias?
'Yikes. As far as getting your data back on a non-stock rom...that eliminates possibility of flashing with Odin'.
No, it does not.
OP - The only way you're fixing this is flashing a stock rom with Odin. If this is successful, you wont lose any data. If you're having problems with the flash, find Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread stickied in General & try as much of the stuff in the thread as many times as you need to in order to get a successful flash. Do not try two or three things from the thread, come back here & say 'It won't work blah blah blah blah'; that thread is the Bible in these situations, there's nothing which isn't in the thread that can be suggested in these situations. So, you now have the tools to fix your phone.
Now, having said that, sometimes in these situations only a factory reset after the flash will fix it.
You're just going to have to try it & see what happens/hope the flash fixes it.

You mean those files you want to recover are all in the internal SD(like photos, music, videos etc,)?If so,just flash a stock rom as others suggested, this won't wipe the internal SD.Unless,in an extreme case, you'll have to rePIT.
