Neo-v preparing backup for first flashing help - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hello everyone.
I'm reading forum for long time ago and preparing for the first flashing custom rom. But, I want to prepare backup rom , firmware, kernel...as SAME as it now. This is neo-v (kyno v), for france market (dont ask how I GET IT IN sERBIA), and in case I dont like some customs rom's, I WANA BACK IT as same as it now...Can U help me to find this "components"?
I cant insert image yet...
So its generic for france market, have app's like ALO CINE, UNO, PAGESJAUNES...

Make a nandroid backup in clockworkmod recovery.
---------- Post added at 12:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:44 PM ----------
And I recommend Titanium Backup for apps. (though clockworkmod does that too)

A Nandroid backup+a backup application for saving data and contacts it's the solution.

THANX guys
lil off-
SDK, i see some intex kernel at your config...How it is, how it works with battery life?
And is your processor alwayes on 1,4 or it "downclocked" when no need for it's full load...

You can set processor profiles in overclocking application.. You can set it to ondemand.

Many free overclocking softwares are available in the market, haven't worked with them as I'm using antutu`s one. But you need root for all these programs to work....

from my experience using stock 2.3.3 with stock kernel, PES 2011 does not really lag and I'm using 600mhz. Try using the newsiest Franco kernel.
Anyway, our phone is not a galaxy s or a PlayStation

not possible to have two roms on x10.
fast and stable ics rom: fxp137-cm9.1: http://code.google.com/p/freexperia/wiki/CyanogenMod9
must apply z's fix to get camera working.
fast and stable gb rom: fxp130-cm7.2: http://code.google.com/p/freexperia/wiki/CyanogenMod7
First dual-boot is not possible
And a stable and fast rom are X10S v9, Achotjans stock v2, and FeraLab NG, Donut any stock based rom around here is stable you should try some yourself..

smartassv2 is a governor, it manages how the cpu acts if processor is used.... if its too slow, it increases, if its too high it decreases the cpu frequency.

Well, you have to flash kernel thru Flashtool, like MM's CM 7.2 kernel and then go to xrecovery and flash his CM 7.2 zip file and there you go.

After a couple of reboots (maybe because i tried to use incredicontrol to make uv, and put a value too low for some frecueces) i flashed again without making any kind ot uv, and i have to say that the kernel is awesome. Wifi works perfect and the signal strong with bb 77. I keep using for a while to check battery life. Thanks again!

[Q] Best configuration for Galaxy Ace s5830i

Hello guys!
I just want to ask what is the best configuration for Ace "i", configuration :
SOFT->ROM->ADDONS
If someone can, please give me some tips what is best for our phone to make it faster, smoother and lighter.
Im just bored, my phone work so slowly, now i have Ace-i-Sure 6.0 aboard, before i had Simplicity 5, and now i just want to get the best of the best. Tell me your opinion about ROM's.
Thanks, and sorry for my bad language.
See buddy comparing roms is not allowed in xda
U can't state that this is the best rom present here
U have to see for yourself which rom suits u the best
I would recommend simplicity with supercharger adrenaline and Rafael kernel for supersmoothness
Rest is upto u

I think the graphics driver for the videocore4 hardware is only in the stock rom. Until the source code for a fully functional driver is available I think other firmwares rely on software rendering and slow down everything else the CPU does. I'm using Rafaels kernel on stock and a second partition on the SDcard for the link2SD app.
Thread closed as its essentially a Best ROM thread.

Xperia U Serious Problem

My Xperia U Too Slow I Have Tried Many Methods Posted In General Discussion I Also Rooted My U(w/o unlocking bootloader). Currently Using ICS(6.1.1.B.1.10 firmware) And My Free RAM Is Always Less Then 120MB.I Also Installed App Quarantine To Freeze Unwanted App Bt Still Nothing Works. Even Games Like Temple Oz Lagging In It. Bt When I AM Using It On GB I Can Play Maxpayne And Other Games w/o Any Lag.Please Suggest Me Some Good Method To Make It Fast I Am New Here And Hoping For A Some Good Answers.Any Type Of Help Will Be Appreciated.
best is to upgrade to a newer firmware of ics... the build u r using is the oldest/first ics build... so i suggest u should upgrade..(use flashtool and a proper ftf file)
Actually 120 mb free ram is more than sufficient u can't change it because system also need ram to work however you can download clean master this app is really helpful to manage your system or uninstall unwanted apps
Here is my free ram
Press thanks if I helped!!!

Yea. Either root and cwm your current ics then flash GB-Rocks rom. Or use flashtool and flash the standard gb ftf.

My Phone Is Rooted And I Dont Know Anything ANout Flasing Is It Safe? And ALso How Much Free RAM Will Be There IN GB ?
Choice for you!!
First of all Welcome to XDA Bro!!
Now for ur problem. There are 2 solutions which I can mention.
1) Flash a Better Stock ROM.
Choose this method if you have a Locked Bootloader and don't want to Unlock it or If you can't Unlock your Bootloader.
I would suggest you to Flash a Stock based ROM - Venezuela Xperia U MOD
Remember though that for this ROM you first need to flash Stock B.1.100 ROM (B.1.10 and B.1.100, both are different).
Instructions are already there within the respective Thread.
Click to collapse
2) Flash a Custom ROM
Choose this method If you have already unlocked your bootloader or wish to unlock it.
This is my preferred option as a Custom CM/AOKP/AOSP ROM is much much better compared to Stock/based ROMs as it is void of any kind of Bloatware and provides better performance/responsiveness.
For this option I would recommend you to Flash SlimCM ROM which is a CM based one.
Though keep in mind that by flashing a Custom ROM you will lose Bravia Engine/xLOUD/Illumination Bar* like facilities.
Illumination Bar will only work for Notifications, it will not glow when you will touch the capacitive buttons. It will not give you the chameleon like effect when you open Music app or Gallery app.
Click to collapse
Choice is yours.
PS: I also read that you are new to flashing. For flashing, first of all you'll need "Flashtool" which is a software. Just Google it. Then search for some guides to using Flashtool on XDA.
