Which ROM is the best and which ROM should I choose?
it's all preference..I got a nandroid stock, supra, viper, and a new aosp one. I prefer supra because it's got a vanilla layout to it but viper's rom is great too. Now i'm waiting for the new shooter update to be released. Just play around with them
lol what are you talking about there are no roms to choose from. There all stock roms and just other members using other peoples bases and change the font or a color and call it something unique.
Thankx for the advice guys ill just play around and get used to flashing different roms and see what's best for me
Hi..
Just tried few AOKP ROMS.. like AOKP, Omega etc..
I liked the included messaging app the best, specially the option to disable sender name and/or the entire message content's to be hidden.. It really sort out one of my biggest problem in Android Stock ROMs.
Now is there any way if I flash my Stock ROM yet can use such kind of messaging apps or mms.apk from AOKP ROMs cause replacing my original mms.apk with AOKP mms.apk didn't help anyhow.
Thanks.
I'm looking at some AOSP roms and have a question about a feature in them.... what are ribbons? I've used Carbon for a little while before and didn't touch them, but I mostly use stock roms.
Thanks
I think our stock rom is aosp, or it is not?
Ndietya
I'm looking for a simple custom rom that's similar to AOSP or AOKP, but also includes some stock s5 features and certain Tmobile apps. There appear to be many custom roms, and I don't want to try them all. I'd like it to be as stock as possible, with maybe just a few tweaks, because I do have a concern for glitches and such. Does anyone know of a custom rom like Im asking about, or is there a way to get some of my stock Samsung and Tmobile apps onto a rom of my choice. I appreciate your time.
Any of the current roms will be fine for you. Or you could go with XtreStoLite G900T

u can install any custom rom then from there install any samsung and tmobile u like, im using XtreStoLite G900T with most of Samsung app installed and it running great for me.
Thanks, this is actually really close to what I'm looking for. Any more reccomendations are appreciated though.
Can someone recommend me some custom ROMs that look like stock but are without bloatware and that have some tweaks. Thank you
All custom roms except cyanogenmod are like this.
