Old Nokia Ringtone to share - Nokia Lumia 800

My second fancy schmancy nokia phone was the 8801 slider that came with custom ringtones by Ryuichi Sakamoto. One my my absolute favorites has been "n-choral", and I've taken it to every phone I've had - including my Lumia 800.
In case any of you are interested in it.

htc today plug-in too big -> change size?

hey, i installed one of the pdaviet roms, i think 4.0.0.0.4.
i like the htc today plug-in - except for its size! it is so big!
is there any way to reduce the size or to hide that stupid watch? i like the spb plug-ins, however then i´ll have to install 2 plug ins, one for the missed calls and one for shortcuts.
is there any today plugin which looks good, display new calls / messages and allowes to place shortcuts, etc? just like htc plugin only half as big?

are you sure that you had installed a correct VGA version???
You could try disabling the HTC Today plugin and using Ikarus' project with one of the myriad skins:

TG01 Wallpaper on Today Screen

Hey on the TG01 my today screen is the official Windows 6.5 one.. however the wallpaper is designed for the portrait screen, so when I flip the phone on its side (landscape) the wallpaper is squashed and replicates itself. Is there anyway to set 2 separate pictures to stop this "ugliness"?
Regards,
Oliverjh
This isn't really a solution, but you can use an 800 x 800 pixel wallpaper, and that will stop the tiling you are seeing.

On the windows folder of device there is a file named stwater_480_800.jpg and there is another one named stwater_800_480.jpg.The first one is for portrait and the second one is for landscape.
choose two pictures that you like your own.I am sure that you already have so many nice pictures. rename them as above and replace them in windows folder.
also u can try theese nice 800x800 papers

[Q] Tiles

silly question but i'm really tired of being stuck to "microsoft" colors on the default tiles.
Is there anyway of getting them to display in black on a "locked" phone?
I know all about so called apps that profess to do it but I want to keep the functionality of the old tiles but just want them black.
V peace
Unfortunately, there are no way to do this currently, at least not without unlocking your device. If your phone isn't unlocked, you're out of luck for now.
I may be wrong but I think that to have black tiles you can flash a different firmware (for example the one for T-Mobile Germany).
Lumia 800 black tiles
Yes, operaters can add one custom colour, if your Lumia is unbranded, you'll have Nokia Blue, T-Mobile have that cool grey colour.
Sadly we can not change tile colors to custom colors. For this we need to be able to interop unlock the phone (sorta jailbreak/root). There used to be an exploit, it is gone though.
Well, I don't understand why colors are predefined in the first place... It would be nice if it was fully customizable. That would be confusing to some people though...

How to change Default Font in Lumia 800

Anybody can help me ? How can i change default font in lumina 800?
I don't think there's a way to change the font on this device. Maybe in 7.8 build nokia will allow users to do that..
I was looking for the same thing but it seems all my efforts were in vain. However i can live with the default fonts they aint too bad.
I believe there is a way to do it, but there's huge improvements in understanding, i believe in a couple of weeks some one would get it right...

Any Live Tile Clock for Lumia 920??

Today I found one in windows store via this link
http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=2e25196a-1cf9-4c39-9caa-0fe52302008f
After a while the tile stop working and it seems that the app needs update for the delay minutes between the tile and the phone clock. Why developing such app seems hard.. HTC made one already??
I read that the tile will be refreshed automatically in minimum of 30minutes due to a limitation in SDK. Unless you bother to refresh it manually every once in a while, I don't think it is meaningful to develop a "live" tile clock at this time.
Correct. the minimum tile update cycle is 30 minutes or 15 minutes if you use external web link to help update the tile. Such limitation makes it impossible to implement any kind of useful clock tile.
As for HTC, phone makers and carriers have the privilege to create special apps that don't have the same limitation as 3rd party apps.

I'm using a Nokia Phone (Lumia 920). I also downloaded HTC clock app (XAP file) from windowsphone store and I want to deploy it to my phone. But I got an error message: "XAP file is invalid".
Does anyone know anyway to get HTC app on other windowsphone 8 devices?
I really like the HTC clock from my 8S... I would absolutely love to have it also on my Lumia 920...
