It is a week that i'm getting mad trying to reflash a Lumia 800, supplied to me from Nokia but with a Demo SW.
Result: totally unsuccess.
Is there any of you who did it?

i still wait like many of us for a solution to downgrade from DLOAD to Qualcomm Bootloader on the Nokia Lumia 800.
The 710 has a solution via NSS.
Also other Threads show how to do it with MobileEx and AdvanceBox Turbo Flasher .

The Problem is that ATF and MobileEx need the hardware devices, which are damn expensive and needs to connect with the PC to use the Software. Or use JTAG with special cables, no standart user has experience. There are several emulated (Cracked) versions of the old versions of these Software, but i dont want to link them as its not allowed.
NSS has a new version, and there is still no OSBL version of Nokia Lumia 800 firmware.
Don't we have Dumped Firmware of Nokia Lumia 800 OSBL (Qualcomm) to flash easylie with NSS like with Lumia 710 ?
Is there Any Development to get that Qualcomm to Lumia 800 ? Did anyone Reverse Engineer how 710 works and "ported" this method to 800 ?
Did anyone found or dumped the OSBL (Qualcomm) Firmware for Lumia 800 ?

bootloader on 800 is still not downgradeable
i would love to see a (software-)solution for this as i have also a lumia 800 with a dload.
710 has a software solution with NSS
but i know someone has the OSBL firmware for 800 too or could get it to let it work on NSS with 800 too

My Lumia 920 is stuck on the spinning wheel screen.
This device was unlocked from day one so I presume I need a carrier independent firmware
Please point me to a guide on how to do this and to a download of the correct firmware needed for my phone.

I saw several custom ROMs on Lumia 800 WP Development section. But I'm kinda confused here so I wanna ask, can Lumia 710 ROMs be flashed into Lumia 800? (like Rataplan, Lumiatrix)

No, the ROM is built for a specific device with inside specific packages. Take a Custom ROM compatible with your Lumia 800.

Guys, I am working on a full tutorial for Lumia 800. From Nokia Lumia 800 Dload to flashing ROMs, it worked on my Lumia 800! I will post it in approximately 4 hours I just needs 10 posts before I can post it with images
DO NOT USE INCOMPATIBLE ROMS!! I bricked my phone because I did, and I can only use it because I were lucky getting it back into the mode where you can flash it.

today my brother gave me a Nokia Lumia 920 and I want to root it.
At the Moment, I have a HTC Titan with Windows Phone 7, but I want to switch to WindowsPhone 8 (and possibly android, if dual boot is possible).
Now I want to ask: Is the Nokia Lumia 920 already rootable and are there any custom roms for it?

WP8 devices never be rootable or custom ROM available... and this is best solution for security and safe system... from my point of view, i not missing rooting since switched to WP8 year and half ago... all what need is available on WP8 and all working perfect...
