Depends on what you want to spend, but you can make really nice modular setups with Ram Mounts:

BTW- finding the bits and pieces can be a bit of a pain; Don't use amazon sellers. There's one online dealer for each US region, call them and they'll help you design a system.

I want a Vaja case!! Anyone with me?

Back in the days when I was still using P800, Vaja made a very nice case for it, expensive yes, but it was the best looking and extremely tough. They didn't make one for P900 and now that I'm using IIs and Mini, they don't make them either I was wondering if enough of us want it, they might do a custom order for us. I'm looking for their iPod or K700 type of design, anyone with me?

Vaja Case -- Appeal to their customer Service
I think the good folks over at Vaja need to know we really want their case for the HTC Blue Angel, PDA2k, VX6600, MDA-III, or whatever similar configuration you have.
Here's my appeal:
To Whom It May Concern:
Can you tell me if you'll be making one of your fine cases for the MDA-III also known as Verizon's VX6600, HTC Blue Angel, I-mate, and PDA2K?
All of these devices are essentially the same, plus or minus the camera, and I know I speak for many users when I say that we'd love to see your quality come to this device! The readers over at forum.xda-developers.com will be anxiously awaiting your response!
Thank you!

Maybe you would like to post links to those and actually be helpful? I've also googled it for the OP and didn't find a thing and neither did the OP.
Ask Cyanogen, he has something like that http://www.googleandblog.com/cyanogen-google-japan-android-mascot/31236/
Just kidding, but no I couldn't find anything.
Edit: I also found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgStaHwCqmk

Okay, how about anyone who's tried THIS stand, PED3

http://thoughtout.biz/PED3-U
I just got an email from the guy who runs the company. I wrote them because their stands seemed specifically designed for iCraps (sorry, do not like iANYTHING). And he wrote me back saying that there is a "universal" stand.
Just wondering if this looks appealing to anyone or if anyone has any personal experience with it?
Thanks in advance...

[REQ] Ghost Hunting App!

Hi All
I am a paranormal investigator and I am really wanting some ghost hunting apps on my HTC Touch HD.
iPhone have sevral, one gives you the classic radar view and shows you where noise is coming from. Others are EVP (Electric Voice Phenomenon) and EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) .... does anyone know where I can get anything simliar for WM. I have been googling now for hours and havnt found much except for something called HASA.
I have experience in Visual Basic and willing to make my own set of ghost hunting apps if anyone is willing to help me.
Glad to hear from a fellow investigator! Well don't we need special hardware for that?
Even with the sound detector app which you describe, I doubt that our HD would be able to a) distinguish small noises in a range of more than a couple of meters and b) triangulate their position. It's probably more of an eye-candy application rather than a practical one.
Even so, I believe a dedicated EMF sensor and/or EVP recorder would be much more trustworthy than a simple pda application.
Maybe the magnetic sensor on the HD2 could be of some assistance, but I can't see how :/
dam thatd be sick haha, id just do that for fun!
Is there anybody there?
... Sorry, but I couldn't resist...
Send me 50 bucks and ill give you some phone software that can detect
Ghosts Under Literal Limbo Interment Behind Liquid Ectoplasm
Its a bargain especially considering these ghosts are the most common type. If you want pics let me know i can post them when I get home.
I have a good nose for ghosts..... just sniff em out
Think its only iphone that can do it..... something to do with the self sacrifice at the apple assembly lines

hahaha classic!
Also, I thought these kind of things require different hardware that is not found on a phone (ie. all apps are fakes...)

[Q] Lapdock for Atrix 4g - what do you use it for?

I just got my lapdock and it's neat, no doubt about it. But what do you actually use it for?

I'm gonna wait for this one to get going before I input my wit!
VERY basic web browsing (email, facebook, xda, etc) and that's it. Don't try to fire up too many youtube videos or you'll get the low memory popup. I'm going to take my lapdock for a weekend wedding trip instead of my laptop in May...I should be ok. Looking forward to possible improvements in the future ICS build .

I got my new bicycle today........It's really shiny and cool. What's a bicycle do anyway?
Why did you buy something if you don't know what to do with it?
(Sorry, but it's either of two things..............you worded the OP in a way that doesn't convey what you really meant, or you really did just buy a lapdock without knowing what it's for)

My main curiosity is what most people use it for, as each person finds different value in different items....
I know what it is for and I'm enjoying using it in my own fashion. The main reason I bought it, so you will know, is because I found it for $50 bucks and it will increase the value of my Atrix 4g as a package, if & and when I go to sell it, should I ever find a phone I like more.
Also,Congrats on your new bicycle as well. I hope it serves you well. Just wait until you take the training wheels off! You'll be REALLY happy.
Thanks, I'm really happy with it! It has streamers on the handles!
I bought the lapdock in a deal also, but unfortunately mine is off to Motorola as there was something wrong with it when I received it. I think the lapdock will change somewhat in functionality once Webtop 3.0 becomes available to us. It should have more of a "laptop" functionality at that point I think.
I used it for very little until I installed webtop2sd, and turned it into a very serviceable portable connected computer. I have replaced my current laptop with the lapdock, and have been quite happy using Openoffice, and PDF reader. Professionally, I now have used it in court 3-4 times to hold reference materials (instead of printing volumes of online records), and I do email with it. I have also heard that it is very functional in a remote desktop setting, but aside from testing this, I have not pursued it.
The one issue that I have is installing firefox extensions. My lack of linux knowledge is holding me back, and I would like to be able to read .tif files from within the browser, but as of now cannot. Other than this, I think it is safe to consider this as functional as a regular (lower end) laptop.
Again, I cannot reiterate how much more useful webtop2sd makes this device. Who knows what the ICS update will bring?
Meh, id rather have an actual linux distro than android on a screen: Ubuntu is made for a mouse and keyboard, android, and specifically the apps for it, are made for touchscreens that our lapdocks do not have, so i dont see it translating well.
