I was wondering to seems when I do benchmark test I'm on 2.3.4 but all of China seems to be on 2.3.7

It is *rumored* that ICS is coming Q2 2012.
Besides, we don't have to worry about updates, our dev team is working hard to get us CM9.

Moto has not announced a release date yet. Any dates or timelines are pure speculation.

I am pretty sure they said some time in July and maby August, but these are not hard dates and can change easily.
It won't be released

July has just started and August is very far
Add to that they do not even reply on twitter ..
Anyone knows about international phones/carriers? I'm from Brasil, and don't really care about ATT/Bell/etc (sorry the honesty). I guess the update comes from Moto, right? Not from the carriers. Anyone?

Well the last few updates have been at the end of the months.
Also, I do not recall moto ever saying july. I believe that was just a prediction from brief mobile. Nor have I heard any rumors regarding SOAK test.
Sounds like the droid 3 is launching very soon, and the new moto flagship LTE bionic is launching early August.
So, most likely we will see a limited release toward the very end of July and a full release sometime in August.
I Hope im wrong and that this post is irrelevant by the time I press "submit"

I believe on the Motorola Owners Forums they said they were going to begin soak testing--near the end of June.

I haven't heard rumors about soak test either. I heard fact from forum manager Mark on the Moto forums telling people they would begin selection for soak very soon, everyone should update their info if needed, and 1000 people will be picked from the total pool with priority going to people who contribute on the Moto forums. This was a week or so ago.

Just wondering if there is going to be an official/unofficial port anytime soon? I've been having withdrawals since I ditched my Dinc.

CM7 runs smooth even it's in alpha state.
Definately wanna see MIUI on MoPho
Well Moto FINALLY pulled the trigger and gave us a timetable on when we are getting ICS...
2Q 2012! WTF
(sorry can't attach link apparently)
look in motorola . forums .
I guess they changed it, was Q3. I personally won't be flashing it. Good chance we could wind up like the Electrify users did. Bootloader was locked.

Means Quarter 3, anywhere from July to September.
And that's if Sprint and Moto agree to and it's stable enough. Bugs cluld be another story.

Now how would I get my hand on this in another country?

a lot of times even a newb can pull the update file and remove the boot loader locking factors. Than ya add in an su script, whip up a super user application, and than over clock the kernal, and BOOM ya gots yourself a rocko/joker 2.0. I can't wait for a hopefully stable version of ICS and a light icing of moto changes.

Is there a way to port Motorola GB widgets to ICS?
The xoom gets its ics update soon may be able to get them then with less problems then.

How is it that a device I only know about due to my mom passing is still getting supported by Motorola, yet we get absolutely nothing but pushed to the side?

When did the XPRT receive an official update and to what version of GB? 2.3.5?
I checked Sprint's update blog on the XPRT but the last update I see was about a year ago: http://community.sprint.com/baw/com...hones-and-devices/motorola/motorola_xprt/blog
