MIUI Arcified Android OS 2.2 Froyo
This is a modification of Cobrato's MIUI Froyo Rom.

What's new-
1) Launcher -
Many people don't like MIUI launcher because it's iOS style. So I have changed the launcher to xperia arc launcher. You cannot use MIUI launcher on this rom. I had to delete that because I found it was somehow affecting the overall speed of Xperia Arc launcher.
2) Lockscreen -
I know that MIUI Gingerbread rom Lockscreen looks very cool so I modified the original lockscreen on Cobrato's rom to look like MIUI Gingerbread lockscreen. Please read the bug report given below.
3) Camera -
This is not a big thing. Camera is fully functional except zoom. But on Cobrato's original MIUI, there were 2 camera apps. I have kept the MIUI camera in this rom.
4) Widgets -
I have added Arc Widgets in this Rom
5) Default theme -
I changed the default theme. (Again I'll say please read the bug report given below.

BUG Report -
1) LOCKSCREEN ISSUE -
While changing the lockscreen to look more sleek and neat, I made a mistake. If you apply any theme using theme manager, then the ockscreen reverts back to the one which is there in Cobrato's rom. I couldn't fix the issue.
But there is a solution. You cannot apply themes doesn't mean you can't customize this rom. You can use theme manager, but just enable 'edit theme settings' option. Then you will be presented with lots of options which you can customize. Do not change lockscreen, all other things you can customize. You can change wallpapers, it won't affect lockscreen.

Download the zip, place it in sd card, then boot into xrecovery and flash.
Tested on baseband .49 and .52.

If it is possible please make MIUI 2.2 font size as small as MIUI 2.3. I dont use MIUI 2.2 only beacuse of font size.

I was not satisfied with the touch sensitivity in the application drawer using go launcher ex, that's why I chose arc launcher.
MIUI 2.2 and ARC Launcher! what's new?
Why can't I find it?! They just released it to the android market and I can't find it!
It won't work on gingerbread...only ics.

Negative sir.
I ran it on my tab. IDK what the hype is. ADW and GO do more out of the box. I uninstalled and just use stock ICS no need to run a launcher on ICS unless you just like transition animation or something.
Something that made no sense about it. It made it feel like Gingerbread. You could not scroll past your apps in the drawer and get to the widgets. It seem to revert some of the better settings in ICS.
guys, can someone do a new rom based on official gingerbread (i love stock launcher, sms app, dialler, camera) but with the latest tweaks and opptimizations?? it would be very nice, thanks.

I really hate the ICS lockscreen and i was wondering if there is a way to port the Gingerbread lockscreen to ICS, i know there are some apps on the play store that allows me to change the lockscreen, but those waste alot of battery :3
haha i actually hated the GB one way too much drag to unlock, this one is super easy and quick to unlock
I think the resurrection remix 1.3 ics rom comes with it-it gives an option to use the legacy lockscreen.

I am looking too for GB lock screen on ICS it was very nice for me
i want the old lockscreen back on ICS roms as well

You could also try JKay framework. It has a slide unlock option that is similar to GB.

hi, i have sg2! and im using a rom which doesn't have the touchwizz customization!m im asking if i can have all the beautiful stuffs of sg2 touchwizz in this rom; ( contacts, dialer, sms, etc...) or a theme would be sufficient??!

i'm guessing that you have an AOKP rom or so.
i think that the hole point of those room is to get as far from samsung as posible, so i think you'll not be able to found a ported touchwiz.
though there many aokp roms with similar themes. this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27619632#post27619632 has an LG launcher with the same icons of touchwizz...
but apps and stuff are not the same as samy' s one...
i guess you'll have to live with it, or go back to stock roms...or modifyed sammy roms..in that case i recomend you Darky roms...are pretty good
Touch Wiz UX has been ported from the GS3, I have used it on AOKP based Resurrection Remix, in fact it comes with it.. Nice launcher. You can Download it here:
