I have a xtreamer prodigy, it has on top of the general system, android 2.2.1 but i has no market, i tried several apk´s out there, but it will install but not run.
Can i root it and how would i do it, it has androidpit, but there is only a little selection of apps. After i installed the market, "androidpit" shows more apps but i can not install since the android market, never starts.
the android about:
Model number : Saturn
Android version: 2.2.1
Kernel version: 2.6.34-venus [email protected]))
Build number: rkt_saturn-eng 2.2.1 frg83 eng.zpl1025.20111227.174239 test-keys
I have flashed my galaxy s several times, and preferr Darky Roms, tried Miui it was buggy, but how will i flash when the Android is not on the chip, but on top of "linux" i assume. Tried to look up Rooting "simulated android" but did´nt find a guide.

Avlite 2.2.1 android tablet Help
I cant seem to root this tablet because of the usb debugging not reading it to the cpu. Any one know how to root this tablet. Please
From the looks of the info you posted there seems to be a big prob as alot of your hardware is unknown. This will be a major hurdle to over come. Where did you get the device?
i can root it with z4 root
Hey guys,
I just recently discovered the MIUI custom ROM for Android - and i've just fallen in love with it... Unfortunately I am new to this concept of installing custom ROM, and have a few crucial questions. The first one being - is it possible to even install this ROM on my android? I have purchased imported phone, from China (the W007 Android); For this I have done quite a bit of looking around, but unfortunately (where ever I have found a download link) for the MIUI- their all just specific versions (for specific phones). I am sooo interested in installing this onto my phone, but I cannot find a valid version for my phone... The Phone Details Follow:
Android Version: 4.0.3
Baseband Version: MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V14, 2012/04/20 17:38
Kernel Version: 3.0.13 Sat Jun 9 13:12:07
Build Number: ALPS.ICS.MP.V1.11
Model Number: e1809c_v75_jbl_253
(Please just ask me for anything that is needed)
Second question was... Will I need to Root my phone, inorder to install this custom rom? I was asking this as, I believe that the warranty for the phone becomes void, if it is Rooted?
If you guys could please help me out with this little problem - It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanced. :fingers-crossed:

Hi you have tested MIUI Rom in your W007? It's work?
I have looked around for a while and checked the last time I posted to a similar thread but to no avail. So, I am creating a separate thread for this tablet since it differs from it's predecessor - Impression i7.
I've looked for a way to root it but haven't found a specific usb driver that works right and I've tried a few things others explained and that hasn't worked either. All the times I've tried end up not rooting the device at all. Originally I wanted to do this to add Google Play's store but I am looking to use the rooting for space saving and app management. Here are my details again:
Model: i7a (NOT an i7)
Android: 4.0.4
Baseband: 1.4rc3
Kernel: 3.0.8
Build: crane_i7a-4.0.4-20120712-US

Hello,
I found this thread on this site (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2927903). Since that thread is closed I decided to start a new thread with a similar topic.
I have the same generic tablet:
Processor: DualCore-A23
Model: TY_Q8H
Android 4.2.2
Firmware v2.0.8
Kernel 3.4.39 (Friday April 25, 2014)
Build #: TY_polaris_eng 4.2.2 JDQ39 20140508 test-keys
It also used to annoy me with stupid commercials that would pop up at various moments in time. I spent quite a bit of time cleaning up the tablet (remove all the Chinese bloatware).
The tablet seems to be working a lot better. My question then becomes, can I create a ROM for other people to use? And if so how?
bloatware
I have the same tablet, how did you manage to get rid of all the Chinese bloatware and system messages that pop up, its driving me mad
Thanks
Hello,
I am angry that every free game of mine uses the /data directory which i need root access for but i don't have root access.
I have a Laptop with Chrome OS, it has Linux on and i want to sync data from those games to my tablet which does not have root access.
I also want root access to change things like my boot animation, boot sound, and more!
I can't use Magisk because it bootloops my device and also i can't get the rom on linux.
Also some small things:
Lenovo tab M8 FHD:
- OS: Android 10 (Unrooted)
- Build Number: TB-8705F_S300111_220228_BMP
- CPU: MediaTek® Helio P22T Tab Octa-core 2.3G
- Display: 1920x1080
- Kernel Version: 4.9.190+
// There is also a "Custom build version", should i tell that, i dont have any custom things/mods on my android device?
PC:
Just a classic gaming laptop with brunch installed, model of pc (i dont think this is important): Lenovo Y520-15IKBN
