[Q] Anyone know the exact placement of the "Galaxy Note" Logo? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Hello, I cut a custom back skin from carbon fiber vinyl. I want to know where the Galaxy note logo is on the back, so i can cut a hole so it will show through. anyone know? thanks

If you use this dude's post for reference you could probably get a pretty good guess by overlaying it on the tracing from your previous post.

[Q] Get rid Of air bubbles?

I recently Bought a Switcheasy Nude (Clear) Case for My galaxy s3 and Cleaned out both the case and the phone real good before putting on the case. Still, There were annoying air bubbles between the phone and the case. No Matter what I did, They would not go away... Any Suggestions How to get rid of them?
Here are the Pictures:

Use a credit card to press it over the phone, move the bubbles to the corners/borders.
Its Not a Screen Protectot Bubble mate, Its between the CASE and PHONE
I'm sorry, didn't noticed that. I thought it was a film.
Maybe it's a manufacturing error. Or some dirt that is stuck there and you could not wipe. I've never seen any of those cases, but to me, it seems to be some kind of oil. What did you used to clean it?
Maybe someone in the section dealing with accessories would have an answer .

How easy is it to replace the Note 3's original metal bumper?

Hi guys.
Here's the thing: I'd really like to use my Note 3 without a case/skin/bumper,etc.
Now, I have a tempered glass screen, so that's covered. Also, there are many replacements for the back cover - I could easily replace it or even buy a cheap one and keep the original in the box.
Now, that leaves the original bumper. I don't like those aluminum bumpers, as they make the phone bigger and also block the signal. The plastic bumpers also look fugly.
So, down to my main question: if I get the original bumper damaged, how easy is it to replace it? And is it expensive?
Does anyone have the experience in doing this?
Thanks in advance.

http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+Note+3+Teardown/19209 this is the teardown by Ifix and it should reference the specific repair the only issue I'm at work and cannot see the images so I cannot give you my opinion but the last few times IE note 2 and s3 the silver bezel has been a separate part of the screen and is held on via a few screws so in short fairly easy if it follows that trend
EDIT: I found this thread they talk about the Bezel replacement http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2493623

Replacement back cover

I'm looking for a replacement back cover. I don't want to go with a case, it only just fits in my pocket, and IDK that I have a whole lot of mms to play with.
My problem is, my wife and I each got one, and they are both black. I almost walked out of the house with both the other day because I wasn't paying attention. If I could do something to differentiate the look a little, that would help greatly. I got stickerboy decals or stickers or whatever you call them, but I can't quite get it to line up (disclaimer: This is almost assuredly my problem, not anything wrong with stickerboy).
Any ideas on a replacement cover or one coming soon on the horizon?

or at least a soft plastic or wood or other colors...
same here!
I hate the cheap feel of the back cover so I was thinking of a skin but I would prefer a simple backcover replacement... I love the wood option on the OnePlus One... I'm still waiting for someone to make this for the G3
I just brought this phone and was looking for a Matt battery cover as i don't want a case too. use to and love the feel of my nexus 5 backing. anyone seen anything like this around?
edit: found this but is another layer. looks good though

Transforming my Note 3 from white to black

Hello guys,
Let me tell you my story:
I've been working for quite some time to buy the Note 3.. And now when I've finally earned enough money to buy it, they only had white one available. I've wanted that phone for such a long time, that I could not wait for another 2 months or so, to buy the black model.. But as I thought the white model started to bother me after few weeks..
What I am planing too do:
Option:
Before I start.. I've watched every review of Slikwraps on YT, and I've just done reading the @slickwraps thread.
Now I've found Slickwraps, so I can transform my white Note 3 to the blackish one (I'm still on the fence which skin to get?)
If anyone can help me with there experience, what comes the closest to looking kinda like original black one + that It looks elegant, please do so.. If anyone has black carbon, leather, metal or any other skin that looks elegant and it's not white, please post some pictures, write some words on how it is, I will appreciate any info.
On the side note, I'm already using official black flip case with the phone, so I only need the front + sides and camera stickers so I think something in black would look best with it..
I've also contacted slickwraps on here and over the mail I didn't get the answer yet, because of the holidays.. I'm a patient man, I can wait.
Now Slickwraps look like a perfect solution, but the problem here is, that the skin is risen up a bit over the actual screen, why is that a problem? I'm using tampered skin protector from panzerglass (great screen btw! I highly recommend it.) I've order two of there screen protectors one to keep it in OK condition until Slickwraps arrive and other I was planing to stick over the skin.. Now I've came across the video on YT where the reviewer said it can't be done that way..
So that is a problem, as I'm planing to use screen protector on my phone to keep my glass scratch free. I've read a review on sw thread that someone did apply the skin over the screen protector?! I'm afraid that the phone will look kinda funny (Not flat / even any more) doing that??
I am OK with any other sticker company (If you have some of there products please write about it + post some pics)..
Or if someone knows where I could buy a full black glass screen protector so it transforms my white Note to a black one.. That option would be the best choice, but I didn't found any..
I would also buy a screen protector that would only cover the centrer screen so I could have both skin + screen protector. But Again not such luck..
So if anyone has any suggestion what to do, please feel free to help a brother out.
I am opened to any other suggestion as well, just don't write posts like: You should get the black one, you should wait, or sell the white an buy the black..
Hello friend ,if I was you I will replaced the glass with method LOCA using the black colour and because your screen is not broken it's very easy to remove ?
And finally I had bought a black back battery cover ?
It's the best and it looks and it is like the OEM black note 3 ?
But it needs some skill for the LOCA but you cam learn in YouTube like I did ?
---------- Post added at 11:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:20 AM ----------
And also its very cheap ,15 euros the maximum ?
Isn't the better solution to sell your white and buy the black one?

Looking for, need help

Hey guys
Been looking for a case for my g3 for a while and having a hard time finding exactly what I want...
I want to know if anyone has seen anything out there like that I am looking for...
Essentially, i want the G3 flip cover (that replaces the battery cover and has at the least NFC) but no quick circle hole... since I am running cm12, there are no apps for the quick circle and want something that doesnt have the hole for it...
Does that make sense?
I am finding some that dont have the hole but they are snap on cases, they dont replace the battery cover like the G3 case does...
Or if anyone has any ideas or seen anything on how to modify the case I have now (have the one with the quick circle)....
I was thinking about covering the inside with velvet or something... but cant think of anything to cover the hole
I imagine everything aftermarket would be a snap on. You might check aliexpress or another similar site. They typically have OEM style accessories.

Hated that about switching to Cyanogenmod! It's so much better, but I have three different QuickCircle cases and they're useless. Wish they'd add support for at least the clock!
Well, I searched and I couldn't find anything either. Perhaps you can make a hybrid of the two cases. You can get a QuickCircle case with QI and NFC for $12 brand new on eBay, then maybe you could cut off the front and take a different case that doesn't take the back and put that front on it. If you're good at sewing or glueing it might just work!
Ya all I did was glue a soft piece of material on the inside of the circle case I have and layered from carbon fibre vinyl cut into circles to fill the circle. It worked. But it wasn't as pretty as I hoped. But it works for now till I find something.

There are a few bugs, but I am incredibly happy about this. I can confirm it is working.
