Bootloop?? Won't power off - Motorola Droid RAZR

I just SBFd my RAZR, and it keeps repeating the boot animation.
I tried holding the volume up and power buttons, and that does nothing at all.
PLEASE help.
Right now it's off the charger, in the hope that when it dies, I can power it up and re-SBF it, but that could be hours, as I just charged
So PLEASE help me!

You want volume DOWN & power, not volume up.
Get it into recovery mode and wipe data. That should fix it.

How long are you holding it? Make sure you hold power volume down at the same exact time.

I usually hold the volume rocker down before powering up. Try to hit em at the same time is a hard one
Tbolt meatclaws-talkatap
Do a battery pull then out battery back in. Then hold down the volume button and keep it down
press the power button several times that's what works for mine any way.

some times when im plugged into the wall or ubs/computer it doesnt go
If you have the fast power on option checked in power settings I think that prevents you from booting into hboot unless you do a battery pull.

Faster Boot?

How come when I power off and turn phone back on(no battery pull) and hold vol. Down, the phone boots instantly? If I turn the phone off and just press power and let it boot it takes about a minute to boot.

This happens to me on occasion just because im impatient. When u power off the phone even though the led light and screen goes blank it takes a minute to fully power off on its own without battery pulls or fastboot checked off. If you try to volume down power before it fully shuts down then thats when it boots back instantly. The reason is the phone hasn't fully powered off.

Soft reset stop

I am stock rooted and would like to my phone not to soft reset when the power button is held down. I still want it to turn on and off the screen but nothing else.... Can any one do that????

You kind of need that if S**T hits the fan with a non removable battery.

Go to Settings>Power>Uncheck fastboot. If you press power button screen will turn off/on. If you hold down few seconds you'll get powerdown option. If you hold down approximately 10 seconds it will do a reset ("similar" to battery pull-reboot).

i think we should find out if a dev can change it to Vol up + Power to make it reboot instead of holding down the power button. thats how my xoom gets rebooted
To hard reset a frozen EVO lte you have to hold the power button and volume down...
I don't want that to change.... What I want is for the phone not reset if just the power button is held down for 10sec.

I had this problem my xperia s. I did panic for a little while. I ended up taking the back off, just rubbed the phone to warm it. Tried to switch the phone on, it did eventually. Then plug in charger straight away. See if it boots enough to start charging.
I try to never let my phone run out completely now. Not sure if it's something to do with battery stats.
Hit thanks if helped.
Cheers,
Lunar.

[Q] Phone in boot loop

Hey, my droid incredible 4g lte is stuck in a boot loop. I haven't rooted it or anything, so i don't know what's going on. Do i have to re-install the stock rom? What do i have to do?
Pull battery, put battery back in. Push volume down and hold, push power while holdind volume down. Keep pushing volume down until phone vibrates. This puts phone in bootloader mode. Reset and your good.
