Hi guys,this is dragon fly game,i downloaded it from market
very cool game working well on wildfire without lag.
does anybody try it before?
i am using cyanogemod 7.1
set cpu max 710mhz
min 525mhz

it didn't run smoothly on stock rom came with Wildfire,if somebody try it on stock one they disappointed,that's why I am not post a market link and I specified my rom details and overclock details,if I post in games thread many of us don't see cause it had already so many pages of replies...
Make sure you go into the settings and turn on (or on, don't know right now) an opinion forbhigher performance.

Plant Verses Zombies, anyone got this game running in an X8? the popcap version... not the port version.
if yes... what ROM are you using and how to get it run.
my current rom is Floyo.
was trying to get it to run but failed. the phone will reboot 2 times before i can use again. it drop to boot animation than lancher, than hang, than reboot with SE logo, than can use the phone back.

Pretty obvious its the chinese port. I am playing PVZ for quite sometime using Chainfire 3D to reduce its texture..
btw author you were posting in the wrong section.
Oh ok, i tried the chainfire to reduced the texture to 16bit works.

I cant start the game.
I have both wildfire and optimus one.I did multi touch test where my P500 can recognize only upto 2 touches at a time but my wildfire can recognize upto 4 touches......This also causes axis inversion in my games
Can someone please improve p500's touch recognition....or by doing a port from wildfire's kernel may increase its recognition?......someone please look into this

Thank you.....For the wildfire you can give a try on JOKERSDROID 4.2 and WildPuzzleROM 2.3.2. But WildPuzzleROM 2.3.2 is under development so you can try it later.........I dont know about cyanogen mod......
So anyone tried running Grand Theft Auto 3 on the Defy? Our device is not powerful enought? It just keeps on a black screen after downloading SD files (400mb)

did you try to use the tegra plugins?
Tegra plug ins don't work, I think the gpu maybe be the issue

The reason why gta III wont work on your defy may be the apk you downloaded which i believe it is not from the market. I had the black screen before too in gta III then i found a different apk and it worked. Using cm7 at 1.2 ghz wont lag at all while playing it :]

I have CM 7.2 and GTA v. 1.1 after rename an audio folder works perfect btw cpu overclocked only to 1GHz

How to fix the black screen
You must replace libstagefright.so in system/lib with another one that works. Check out the first GTA thread.
Btw: if you do, keep your original one as a backup because the fixed one may not allow video recording.

i have it working on my defy with android 2.3.6 overclocked to 1200mhz
its working very well and smooth but it lags some times but not a lot of lags
i use this sd data

Just making a thread to say that Black Ops Zombies is running GREAT.
I'm running the latest build of OaTs LightnTasty and I've overclocked to 1.7ghz. I'm not using Chainfire or anything like that
I have the graphics set to the highest and it's nice and smooth.
I'm willing to post a video. Can someone recommend me a good screen recording app please
The game sucks IMO. Dead trigger is much better.

There is no online. It is just local multi player.
They are only supporting Sony Xperia devices for now. The Xperia S and Xperia Ion also have the Snapdragon S3 and Adreno 220 which is probably why it works on the Touchpad fine. Even with the stock 1.2 ghz CPU setting the game is still plenty smooth, some of the older Xperia devices like the Xperia Play only have a 1ghz S2 so it should be no problem.

I read that it was only for Xperia devices. How are you guys playing it?
So the game run fine the first time I played it but today it's lagging and glitching and just closed on me
I've tried the less detailed graphics modes and different cpu overclock and governors but no luck yet.

They are using warez and so am I but I bought it on my Xperia Neo so I guess it doesn't really count as much...

I am not a massive fan of gaming on my android phone but since Real Racing 3 was released I can't get enough of it!
My problem is that when running on my Xperia U it is extremely laggy sometimes and also FC's alot.
Can anyone recommend a gaming optimized rom maybe that can actually handle the games needs or is there any tweaks I can do to get it running better?
I am running the latest cyanogenmod 9, rooted with unlocked boot loader.
I just don't understand how an iPhone 3GS with a 600mhz CPU can run this better than a dual core 1ghz CPU?
Any help is much appreciated!

- Try to edit file at folder SDCARD/Android/Data/com.ea.games.r3_row/.depot/eds
- in folder have a file:
1. AndroidHigh.plist
2. AndroidMid.plist
3. AndroidLow.plist
4. AndroidXtraHigh.plist
- just copy another one you wanna use, example you use AndroidLow.plist and paste
- rename to AndroidMid.plist and AndroidHigh.plist (in Xperia U use between 2 both that file but i dont know maybe cant)
- and just try playing you felt fullspeed, no lags

i think i may have a solution to your problem. if you install chainfire 3d (requires root(link at bottom of post)) you can decrease texture quality and/or texture size which will reduce quality nof all apps until disabled but does help lag and memory usage which is probably why you are getting fc because you have run out of memory or it is starting to overheat.
