Yes. Using a 64gb card in mine since pre-order early arrival and no problems so far.

Sorry, no it will not work. The card you are referring is an SD card and not a microSD card, so it will not fit in the phones microSD port. SanDisk I believe is the only manufacture offering a 64gb microSD.

This one works.

pretty sure people have reported 64gb working in N7000 even though specs for it said 32

Yeah i have one in mine but Im not sure it will work in the att phone with different chipware

It says that it supports up to 32gb because 64gb micro sd is barely on the market.
it should support it as my skyrocket does and the spec sheets only say 32

Yes, but they have been reported to work on nearly all 2011 phones. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't work here.

The microsd socket may support microSDXC like all other GS2 models do. But the native Android OS does not support exFat the microSDCX cards should be formatted. But for most 64GB microSDXC cards out there, they all are formatted as fat32 for compatibility reasons. But in the future, when bigger cards come out (microSDXC can reach 2TB capacity) and are formatted as exFat, they will not work.
microSDHC, the current standard, tops out at 32GB.
microSDXC, the new standard, starts at 64GB all the way to 2TB.
Hey I don't know of this question is already posted but I couldn't find it.
I know the galaxy S3 supports to 64gb but can I use a class 10 microsd card?
Like this one:

Sorry guys, I know this is a bad question but, does the sgs3 have a SD card slot + the 16 or 32 GB? Pretty sure it does but need a quick answer.
I currently own a galaxy nexus an through my gf upgrade, I can. Get the sgs3 for $100. Long story short, she was unhappy with her 4g incredible an is out of the 14 day return an she doesn't want to exchange it with anything else because the other phones are too big. But Verizon would cut us a deal on the 16 GB. That's not enough but if I can add more storage via a SD slot, then I'll go through.

Yeah, there's a microsd slot.

Just to amend what ClubDownforce said, it supports microsdxc, up to 64gb max. You could top out at 80gb of storage on a 16gb model, and 128gb total on a 64gb model if you wait for those to be released.

Rumors are 64gb is cancelled.
No reason for a phone that big if you can upgrade already.

I'm in best buy and as I expected, very fast answers. I'm just not sure I want to give up my nexus for the sgs3. The locked boot loader worries me an primarily, the time it takes for it to get JB. I'd be getting the Verizon version.

link?
$42.99
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Micro...&qid=1370261214&sr=8-1&keywords=64gb+micro+sd
How much is it normally?
It's normally around $50, I know because I was just about the buy one last week before I decided I didn't need that much space and settled for the 32GB version for less than half the price.
I have 2 of these cards. They work great but sometimes you get the damaged sd card error when you boot. Its resolved by rebooting phone again. Otherwise they are good.

Yeah WTH is that all about? i had the same thing.
I think they are bugs with the phone supporting a class 10 speed sd card. My S3 did it all the time. I'm even formatted in Fat32.

You're better off with this anyway (pay the few dollars more)....

Sammy generally works better in their own phones Never had an issue...

Samsung has been the only brand to die on me. It's been a year or 2 now, but I just stopped buying their cards.

odd... may have been a bad card/batch... I read that the sandisk had issues / i had some with the s3, so in prep for the s4, bought the aforementioned card and took the sandisk (64gb) and placed it in my Nook HD+ (just got it for 160 thanks b+n)/ no issues so far with either device

I bought a Team this time around. Hopefully no issues arise.
id steer clear of the SanDisk cards. my 64 gig constantly unmounted and remounted or sometimes never remounted on my s3..and now it's on my s4 too. I am doing an rma to get a replacement.. but i don't trust their cards anymore.

I personally have an old 8gb and 32gb SanDisk card, never had any problems using them in multiple phones and in my current S4.
I'm going to wait for prices to drop some more, it doesn't seem like I need more than 32gb at the moment for my needs, including music and movies.
i have a 64gb ultra, never had an issue. sandisk carries lifetime warranty on their cards, samsung is 1 year iirc.
Hi
Where is a good place to find and buy inexpensive 64GB SD cards?

Find a pny or sandisk (the only brands i believe we carry with 64gb capacity) one on Amazon. Walk in to your local best buy and pick it up (we price match). I have a sandisk that originally had issues mounting but haven't had an issue since I put a custom ROM on it (hyperdrive, cm or avatar)

Get this one SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1.
Partial to the Samsung card myself. It has a slight speed and significant reliability edge over SanDisk's comparable offering.

Do a speed test on it. I'd like to see this. Most the speeds are restricted by the phone or kernel. Mine claims 30MB/s but doesn't get it. I get 6.6MB write and about 12MB read on that SanDisk card.
Sent from my Rooted Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 using xda premium
Had a bit of an issue with the slider not wanting to move, so the result may be skewed by the size of the write.
