Hey All,
I'm using J.Y.Daddys CM9, but there are no gapps, but i still want to install apps, so i wanted to ask if there is any way to install a filebrowser via OR
Thanks in advance!
When you install cm9 you whipe data first because gapps are in data pack.
If you whipe data after cm9 iinstall you lose your gapps.

Oh Ok thanks
I will reflash the ROM
I did what you said, but there are still no gapps
Just to market and get root explorer or system remover it could install.

but i can't go to market because there is no such app
Sorry about that.
When you reflash did you whiipe all data before install.
If not that's why it did not install.
Other option Google root exeplorer free download.

Yeah you can just restore from your backup, but before ruestoring it, do the following steps:
1. In recovery, wipe your Data
2. Wipe Cache
3. Wipe Dalvik Cache
4. Still in recovery, under mount and storage, select "Format /system"
5. Then you can restore your backup.
6. Fix permissions
7. Reboot to system
And you are done.
So to get the new 360 how would i do that? Do i just flash? Newbie here sorry

If you want Nick's MIUI 360, you don't need to install stock MIUI, just do the steps above, but instead of restoring your backup, just flash MIUI 360...do NOT flash MIUI 360 over stock MIUI (in this case, over your backup), if you do, most likely you will get tons of FCs. If you want MIUI 360, its recommended to do a clean install, not flashing over anything.
So I finally got it installed on my Atrix and the first thing I notice is that there is no Market....
Why???
Why is it missing? and where can I get it?
Read the OP on the CM7 thread. It'll tell you what u need to do.

As mentioned, it is in the post giving instructions, though I'll clarify cause some people may not realize that the market is included in it - but.....
download the google apps through ROM Manager. It's in there.
Which one do I download?! I downloaded the two new ones and I still don't have the market.....

why didnt you follow the instructions and flash the one from ROM manager?
I did but then I got a message saying that there is an Error and I need to prove that Rom Manager Exists. So what the heck do I do? This is getting really annoying.
Flash gapps through cwm.
When in cwm manually mount data before you flash. That should fix it.

How?
Sorry for sounding dumb.
Power off your phone.
Then go to recovery MANUALLY NOT THROUGH ROM manager. Go to mounts and storage.select mount data then flash the .zip

Get Google Apps:
There are no Google Apps bundled with CM ROMs, because Google asked Cyanogen to remove copyrighted apps. After flashing the rom, don't forget to flash Google Addon package if you want it. ROM Manager will allow you to flash it if you just go into it and after flashing the ClockworkMod recovery for Motorola Atrix, choose Download ROMs, and pick Google Apps.
Or download and push the gapps zip for CM7 from http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Gapps#Google_Apps to the sdcard and flash it via ClockworkMod recovery. <---------------On CM7 OP! read!
download gapps zip... provided there ^^^^.....put it in sdcard or internal...boot into CWM ..."install zip of sdcard"....choose either..external/internal..flash...done.

Wow i'm an idiot. I forgot about the standard method of flashing. Thanks for slapping me for that one.
I tried downloading the apk for the market but it keeps telling me to login then it exits. What do I do?
You need to flash gapps with cm7. You will need to wipe data then flash cm7 again then before you boot(that's important) flash gapps. Then boot up.

Yea I did that nothing
I think you should add gmail account, connect to web and let it sync. Market app will appear on your app drawer after while.
I have this issue before and this helps me.
Every time i try to install the xda developers app from the play store i get this error Cannot install to USB storage or sd card. I tried to change the install location via terminal but that didn't change the error. I have tried to restore via titanium backup and that just fails.
I am currently on eclipse 1.2 via bootmenu installed as my second ROM.
Figured out problem.. eclipse.. installed aokp and everything works great

Hey all. I have Androwook 1.3 installed, and I am unable to use apps that need to create new folders, such as podcast apps or google earth, etc. I get a "no sd card error." I am also unable to download files to the download folder in chrome.
I have tried a full factory reset and system wipe and installing Androwook 1.5 and this did not fix the problem. I have tried fix permissions without fixing the problem.
Could this be a bigger problem with my file structure permissions?
What are your thoughts?

Do you mean that your attempt to install 1.5 failed because of this error? What recovery are you using?
No my 1.5 install was fully successful but it did not fix the problem the problem with apps being unable to create new folders or being able to download files in chrome.
I am using TWRP (2.2.1 I think).

Can you upgrade your twrp to the latest 2.3.1 and try your install again?

Solved.
I installed TWRP 2.3.1. I then flashed the Clean Wipe zip found in the development forum and completely formatted my prime. I then pushed and flashed Androwook 1.51. My prime is working like a champ. Thank you for the help!
