I wasn't feeling any of the regular sketching/paint apps that I have on my phone on the Prime.
One day I was fooling around in Super Note (the stock notes app that came w/ Prime) and discovered it actually is really good for sketching.
Was trying another app. Feels a bit better than SketchBook, but lacks options, and ui is a bit crappy.

not to mention root will come with an unlocked bootloader, and a kickstand can be added via a case.
This is the most powerful phone I've ever owned. Speed and headroom are the most important, root will come soon enough now im just getting to know the stock veriosn of the 3D so when all the mods come, I can pick and choose the mods that fit me. Spend these unrooted moments to get to know the 3D before going hard in the paint with the mods. HTC is doing a great job addressing issues. I do miss the width and kickstand of the OG EVO but this phone is too powerful to go back. Hang in there with us.

from what i understand the features you miss arnt due to htc its due to the app devs screen size is about the same kickstand missing dont use mine and as far as stabability one of the downfalls of getting early phone
Screen size is definitely not the same. It's width is smaller and its longer. I don't think the phone is enough of an upgrade. They should have gone the route of the thunderbolt.

of course its a different aspect ratio its needed for the qhd and probally the 3d and thunderbolt blows and the kickstand on that SUCKS ASS compaired to the OG evo thunderbolt is vzw's half assed version of the evo. kind of upsetting to see these im returning and o **** its broke cause im a dumbass threads :/ here i am wanting this phone and cant afford it and dont have a upgrade.

qhd means quarter high definition resolution, not the type of display. Which means it has exactly 1/4 the amount of pixels than full HD. The OG evo has a WVGA resoltuioin
theyre both lcd's. The evo 3d just a better one.
Well after waiting what seems like forever for ICS I just finally bit the bullet and bought a Galaxy Nexus. I can say without a doubt that I will NEVER buy a branded phone again.
Its so awesome having a factory unlocked device that comes with ALL original accessories and NO bloatware crap, in the intended packaging. Jeez. I was really disappointed with what ATT did to the sgs2. Also I hate how the resale of US phones are CRAP. I was having a great time taking care of and flipping my iPhones every year. Boy was I surprised when I came to Android. With an international, hard to come by phone like the Nexus, resale will stay high until I want to upgrade to something better.
I am totally happy with my purchase so far. The phone really is great and the build quality and design is superior to the sgs2. The screen is really excellent despite all the negativity I read about the pentile display. Yes ICS is the majority of the reason the phone is so great, but I would still chose it over the sgs2.
Good luck to you guys, hopefully an official ICS leak comes out soon because you really are missing out on a lot.

When sgs3 gets announced I will sell my Nexus here in the US for top dollar and import the sgs3 and have it 6 months before anyone in the US. It will also be factory unlocked and hold a way higher value than the US versions AND ill get Google updates 6 months sooner.

Having access to both (my gf has the nexus) when we are out she is always asking to use mine because it takes far better pictures of our kids, etc...I might have considered the GSM nexus but the camera alone is a deal breaker for me.

Just what I noticed. I'm thankful for my S2 and I love it. I'll buy an S3 a short while after their price goes down. The Gnex is dropping in value, just like all phones. I've sold each one of my devices for nearly what I pay for them.

Ok, so I got to the shop and now I see where they want you to buy stuff. I did go ahead and buy 650 of the coin thingys for $3. I figure the game will end up being $5 after the .99 sale, so even with the $4 I spent I'm still coming out ahead.

What do you mean? It runs smooth and looks great on my G-Note.
I just bought it, downloading now, and I'm sure with a bit of throttling the cpu it will play nice, can't wait!!
EDIT: Just played the initial stage , kept setcpu ondemand, and it played smooth as butter and looked great, best .99 cent game I've ever purchased!

I will admit that I'm not a fan of In-game purchases in paid games, but it's unfortunately becoming the norm.
The $3 I spent today will be the ONLY $3 I spend on it. I really hope the game doesn't end up suffering at some point because I'm no longer willing to give them my dough.

Sorry but a bit confused on what you mean by same ol ics crap we're never gonna get?? I've had ICS for quite a while and if you're referring to "official" ics, who cares about official ics from any carrier, all we need is the official source and the awesome roms we have now will become amazing, better than any carrier can put out.

I think he just meant "would you rather see another OMG ICS BLAH BLAH thread." So he posted this thread to go a different direction and thought maybe people would be into it. I don't think he was commenting on ICS roms/availability or anything like that, just the plethora of same old omg ICS threads. At least that's the vibe I got.

How do you like that case? does it work the same way horizontally? How good does it stay in the car/making turns?

You did give me an Idea of what to do with my Q (i have a glass-cracked one now, ridc. process to get replaced thru insurance, trying to find CL cheap sale so i still keep this hardware and try to get replacement screen/brokengoodscreen used phone/insurance when price comes down, or if someone comes up with a higher than .001% succesful way of replacing just the glass)

I love it.. It sits sideways too, but it wont charge sideways... the dock is not made for a car but I was going out of town so I tried it out. It was pretty cool. Never fell or anything.

My "Note"
This is my setup, I run 3 seperate apps while driving; streaming audio, waze, and autoboy. The Note gets HOT up to 141 degrees F.
So I arranged for a cooling pipe, hence the clear tube from the A/C to a hole drilled in the back of the mount. The windshield cup is side mounted to keep out of the view of the road being recorded.
This is a joke right ?

1) NavBar which is sized perfectly
2) turned off capacitive buttons (work on CWM)

yeah i was in the first one gave 25 and didnt know about the second one coming around till it was two late [mom was in hospital] but i got in on the 10 dollar preorder

Kinda funny they gotta stagger 7000 invites cause they wanna test the delivery system?, delivery of what? the email???
If you just made the first universal hub system for android thats public [minus 10$], how can you not have setup a way to do the emails for the owners to register?
My personal thoughts on this now are that they have announced the release will be staggered, released to press and vips to generate hype and have minimal staff on to handle issues over the weekend. I think a major group of activations will happen on Monday Ontario time when they can have more staff on to deal with issues if and when they happen. Just a guess/my A$0.02 etc etc. So impatient
