[q] i think it's bricked,,, opv. - Optimus One, P500, V General

Just wondering if there's any youtube videos on HOW TO UNBRICK LG OPTIMUS V. I'm seeing all these threads on how to do this and that but would be nice to see a video on how to unbrick it.
I have a LG Optimus V and it was rooted and had a rom on it and now it boots up with the virgin mobile splash screen then the little virgin mobile screen then to the silver LG LOGO and goes black. Can someone please direct me to a video or something more user friendly on how to unbrick it..

It's not so hard to unbrick your phone back if you past first logo..first plug your phone to pc, start cmd (command line) and type adb logcat (of course if you have properly installed Android SDK), after that you should see 'loop' errors..then find on this site KDZ and original firmware downloader..get your original ROM and flash it using KDZ..if u want to root again then use SuperOneClick (only the newest version!)...
Ask when you don't know somethink..

[Q] T-mobile P769BKGO u-boot

Hi first post here. I have messed up the T-mobile LG Optimus L9 (P769BKGO) during the JB update, and the u-boot and x-recovery files are messed up. I fastboot the attachment from another thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40121966&postcount=7
and it still have a touch screen problem (screen alignment not correct, and off by quite a bit).
I tried to flash to the P769BK (not prepaid - 10G) and Canada Wind (11G), and it does not resolve the touch screen issue.
I read another thread that the files are actually in /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 and p2. I tried to borrow another rooted phone and use root explorer to locate the files, but cannot.
Can someone post the 2 files here? Or direct me how to copy the files out using adb in PC or root explorer on the phone.
I read another thread to have the V6.BIN in the touch screen, and it does not help me now since my screen is way off, and almost cannot use the keyboard. My best bet is to use fastboot to upload these 2 files to the phone.
Many thanks.

If you are rooted, do first and last and if not rooted do all http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40121966&postcount=7
Confirmed working after rooting and following this thread for the touch screen fix.

It will be easier to locate the touch screen by following this thread on the touch screen data.

LG L9 (769 Model) Black Screen Bricked (I've read a lot!)

Hey all,
So I successfully rooted my phone, and then I was going to go into recovery reboot mode to install a downloaded rom. I'm not sure what did it, but on that restart I got LG Security error. I first attempted on three different computers to do LG Mobile Support Tool. It stopped everytime when it was going to begin downloading the files. I'm pretty sure if I still had the Security Error image, I would be fine, because I now know of ways to bypass the LG Support Tool, and edit the host file, and then get it downloading.
Either way, in my research after no success with LG Mobile Support Tool, I came across Fastboot. So I got fastboot, I got the drivers installed, but I'm pretty sure my problem was, on the command prompt screen when Fastboot asks' you questions I said yes on them. I believe this is what caused my phone to have the black screen. It will not go into S/W upgrade mode now. It will not do anything, just black screen. I found a tutorial over on Android Forums, and with using Fastboot, I was able to sucessfully flash "p4_769.img" According to that tutorial, after doing that I should have a dead android guy logo, and then just be able to hard reset... but that didn't change anything. Still have the black screen. Still won't go into S/W Upgrade mode.
Now according to what I've read, the next step would be to flash KDZ Afresh...I've looked for this, whatever it is, specific to my model phone, but I can't find anything. If anyone else has any ideas, I would love to hear. I'm so frustrated at this point. Very much appreciate any help. Thank you.
It sounds like now what I have to do is, using how I flashed that recovery img, I first should flash the x and uboot.bin files to my phone. Then I will be able to get into S/W mode, and then restore from there. I just have to find these bin files. I don't have a friend or anyone nearby with the same phone as mine that can:
adb shell su -c busybox dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 of=/sdcard/external_sd/p2.bin
with theres.
Hi dlipford370, you could try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51206080
Cheers. Good luck.

LG L9 Fastboot

Hey
I need some serious help here and I'll be as detailed as possible.
So, here's my problem: I had custom ROM for my LG L9 (P760) from Artas and I used it fine for almost an year and then there was "kernel panic" on the phone. I didn't know what to do so I just restarted my phone and tried to flash that rom again and, long story short I think I bricked it.
I also tried to flash official KDZ from LG over LG Flash Tool and I didn't succed.
Few days later I contaced Artas personaly and he told me what to boot in fastboot and to erase misc and to flash recovery again. I tried everything (installed drivers and all that android stuff) but all I got was "waiting for device".
Later, he told me to try with Ubuntu so I installed Virtual Box and Ubuntu and I followed many tutorials but I still get " waiting for device" in Ubuntu terminal.
He also told me to install ADB universal drivers but I can't because first I have to enable "USB debugging" but I can't because I can't boot my phone.
So, if anyone can tell me or is willing to write me step-by-step guide I'd be very greatful!!!
If you need any more details, just tell me!!
P.S. Meanwhile I bought Galaxy Mega 6.3 but I need that LG because I have MicroSD card that can only work in that phone confused
P.P.S. Sorry for my English

Thanks for the quick reply!! But I have a problem This is TMI for my brain xD Is there a simpler method for doing this? Or if you have time, to do step-by-step? I'm sorry, but I'm stupid for doing these stuff xD
Also, I heard that Linux is much better for these fastboot stuff so I installed it in VirtualBox... So if it's really easier to do it in Linux, you can send me link for Linux methods
