iOs multitasking dock - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Is there any real multitasking dock like the one iOs has? I'm currently using the Chinese iOs rom and the dock looks pretty awesome but the problem is that everything apart from the dock becomes all yellowish and distorted... Not very nice...

Smooth Rotation of screens

Why we cant get the smooth rotation of screens from portrait to landscape same like in Apple Ipad 2? Now in samsung galaxy s2 it is jumping. And in contact screen, is it possible to smooth scroll in the top menu between contact, phone etc.?
Hello anybody can help on this?

Cause Apple would have sued Samsung for patent infridgement. Only Apple products are supposed to have smooth rotation and smooth scroll
Apple should want to go Hell. We need that. Nobody can have a technique to be as a patent owner. What about the Car, Aricrafts, etc.? shame to Apple.
It was there in Android 1.5, you could activate it through Spare Parts. But it hasn't worked ever since.
Bada has smooth rotation animations AFAIK.
It should be nice to have the smooth transition from P to L in 2.3.4...
Yeah, really big "nice-to-have"...
Are there any mods for other android phones phones out there, which can do smooth rotations?

[Q] Good SGP5 Keyboard?

I'm somewhat new to Android, but it looks to me like which keyboard you use is an option (Samsung, Swype) and that more can potentially be added on.
The only problem I have with Samsung's is that it's clearly designed for devices with smaller screens, and takes up a MASSIVE amount of space in landscape mode. Are there any good alternatives that anyone uses?
I got Swiftkey X when it was 10c in the market sale and it is excellent on the 5 inch screen.
I was going to look at Thumb Keyboard from Beansoft since it has a custom keyboard for the 5" screen. Anyone using that one?

yes, i've used. I've got it for free from amazon store (free app a day). It's perfect for 5'' screen
I recommend A.I.type
A.I.type is accurate, fully customizable and has the best text prediction in the Market.
You can't beat Swype from my perspective. Just so much faster than traditional typing.

Jellybean differences on Xoom and Nexus7

So I GEDified my UK wifi Xoom yesterday and now have JB (4.1.1) on both my Nexus7 and Xoom.
Interestingly the Xoom doesn't have the dock locked to the side like the N7. In fact it doesn't have a dock. I like the dock on the N7 though, especially with Nova launcher (which turns the icons in landscape mode).
So I got Nova for the Xoom and it gives it a dock. Nice. And if you rotate it to landscape mode it rotates the dock down to the bottom, which doesn't happen on the N7. I guess JB knows it's on a larger tablet and so doesn't lock the dock to the side.
Just thought people should know.

The Nexus7 is running in "phablet" layout. It still has the stats bar and on screen keys separated and yet has apps in the tablet layout.

Case with Bluetooth Keyboard

To use my Xperia Tablet Z profesionally, I realized that I need a physical keyboard. For the onscreen keyboard I installed Swiftkey and I'm satisfied with it compared to other onscreen keyboards but it is no competition for a physical one.
I looked around on various sites e.g. Amazon but unfortunately there is no case with integrated bluetooth keyboard has been designed specifically for the XTZ. There are enough bulky, generic cases with keyboards out there but let's be honest... we hate bulky crap! If you bought an XTZ you want a clean and professional looking case. :cyclops:
The Kensington KeyFolio Expert Folio & Keyboard for Android/Windows tablets appealed to me because of it's interesting micro-suction technique to hold the tablet in place. I decided to give it a try and was able to order one for EUR 50,-.
I'm sharing a couple of pics for you guys to see what it looks like together with the XTZ. The keyboard fits my needs perfectly and pressing any key works to wake up tablet. The dimensions of the XTZ seem perfect for this case and so I must say I am satisfied. Especially because this case allows a position where you can charge from the micro usb port! That darn micro usb port has finally been owned

What do you think?
Doesn't look too bad considering the others I've seen online. I needed something similar but went for a separate logitech bluetooth keyboard and the poetic case. In my job I need the ability to type quickly while sat in an office but also to take the tablet out around steel plants and take notes where I couldn't use the case keyboard. How do you find using the XTZ as a normal tablet with the on screen keyboard in that case? I can just imagine that having to keep changing the input method in settings each time I wanted to use Swiftkey instead of the cases keyboard would be a bit of a nuisance.
does the keyboard consume quickly the battery?
Could you please link the case that you bought? Tried searching for it but found alot of different version both for the iPad and stuff. Would be nice if you could paste a direct link to the case so I dont make any mistake if I buy one.
Is this the right one? amazon.com/Kensington-KeyFolio-Multi-Angle-Bluetooth-K39532US/dp/B007RB10K4
Please excuse me jumping in on your thread?
Not exactly confused but needing a bit more solid feedback on available android keyboards for XPERIA TABLET?
I have just watched the video on the kensington and it seems fine to me.but I wondered what other choices are out there? I have spent a long time searching and all I can find is APPLE Keyboards and one or two generic keyboards for Android.
I know Logitech make one which is probably the front runner?
any additional feedback most welcome as I have just ordered my Xperia z tablet

As long as the "Apple" keyboards use bluetooth you should be good. Most keyboard will work with the XTZ, it just boils down to personal preference.

Apple For Android???
Hello shangrila500
Really do appreciate your reply,I am not very tech minded..so it all takes a bit longer to sink in with us old folk
are there any good reasons why you would not use an APPLE keyboard with an ANDROID Device?
Something I and maybe others have not thought off, because if we can use an APPLE Keyboard then the choices really do increase, from 2-3 good keyboards,Kensington,Zagg e.t.c to a very wide choice.
Would love to hear from folk who have being using APPLE pads and how they find them

The only reason you would not want to use it is if it has some proprietary Apple connection that is what it communicates via. If it uses bluetooth you should be fine.
Ive recently found a sharp looking Nexus 10 keyboard that looks like it should work, the only thing I am worried about is that the case has the rounded edges for the Nexus tablets instead of the sharp square ones like our tablet has.
Here is a link to it:
http://www.amazon.com/GreatShield-S...67698&sr=8-26&keywords=nexus+10+keyboard+case
It may not work but im going to order one next month when I get paid and test it out. Im in the middle of writing reviews for the cases I currently have for the XTZ so I may wait to post them until I get that case/keyboard combo and just post them all together.

I believe you would be wasting your time because the case is dimensionally and geometrically incompatible with the XTZ. Even its cutouts are in the wrong locations. The case also looks bulky, heavy (15.2 ounces), and God-awful ugly.

I don't think it looks that bad for a keyboard case, it looks a lot better than most and out of all the keyboard cases I've seen it looks the best. It is going to weigh quite a bit because of what it is, if Sony made a KB case for the XTZ it would be nice and sleek but until then we have to ,odify cases that have been released for other tablets that are going to be bulkier.
The weight is on par with other keyboard cases and will be about the same as the Surface KB case that someone has already confirmed worked for our tablet
A for the geometrical imperfections I plan on making some modifications to the case to hopefully make it work, it may not in the long run but I plan on eventually getting a Nexus 10 so if I think there is no possible way it will ever work once i get it I will just hang on to it.
The cutouts are going to be wrong on every KB case until Sony or someone else releases one specifically for the XTZ.
All that being said I may just go with the Surface case for a KB case, I just don't particularly case for it but beggars can't be choosers.
P.S.
Would you mind if I sent you a PM to ask a few questions?

Clarity/resolution

The Essential Phone has a crazy crisp display. Just kidding, this is automated text so who knows if this screen is any good. So, you be the judge! A higher rating indicates that it's extremely sharp and clear, and that you cannot see pixels with your naked eye.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Very clean and clear display brought new life to wallpapers
Mine looks great. With a high quality wallpaper (shout out to Backdrops) the device really shines. I was worried about it being LCD rather than AMOLED, however after using it for three weeks now, I still prefer the PH-1's display over my old Nexus 6's display. I've had other people comment on how crisp and beautiful the colors look, even iPhone users who gawk when I tell them the pixel density is greater than any iDevice released (and even not released yet!) I love my PH-1.
have to agree and add that i actually tried a live wallpaper and actually am still using it BECAUSE its so sharp. I NEVER use live wallpapers tried this one for giggles https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxelus.livewallpaper.amoled&hl=en and the PH-1 sold me. Just seems different somehow

Honestly? Display is good but not great. I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to this. Used to Samsung Super AMOLED screens, so any LCD just feels like a downgrade. My wife likes it better though because you can actually turn the screen brightness lower if you're lying in bed reading a book.
I am having trouble picking a wallpaper for this phone. Even my Nexus 6 made these pictures pop better than this phone. Might be a software issue though. When watching videos, it doesn't look that bad. I mean you will only get so much out of an LCD screen. This isn't really anything special.

If you like grey yeah. But I have 3 Essentials (only one I am keeping) and they all have imperfections around the edges of the screen, so with that picture you have the top left might not look perfect, and even then it would look grey rather than black. Not having this issue with the Razer Phone, but the screen isn't as bright as the Essential so who knows. Didn't really have an issue with the Moto Z2 Force either, but I can tell that its a plastic oled rather than a glass one

Clock is command center, it's what us moto mod users used to see the battery of our moto mods but it works for this phone. The clock is just part of stock Android Pie. I'm using Nova launcher beta (just Google it) and luver icon pack. Here's the wallpaper too. Just something out of my Google plus community
