Are these apps good? - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Is Doubletwist a good music player that provides clear sound quality as my songs are 320kbps?
What's the minimum and maximum MHz should I set in SetCPU and which mode?
Which app moves all apps in phone memory to SD card and cache?

Doubletwist is a good app. But it makes my device miserable i think it doesnt support custom roms

[Q] Slow USB connection (too slow). Fixes?

Hey guys,
I have a 8GB Class-4 MicroSD and when my phone is connected via USB, the transfer rate almost never reaches 1MB, which sucks. But if I for examples use an USB card reader I have at home, it'll hit 5MB easily... What's wrong with USB transfers on my phone? Has anyone else had this issue? =\
Thanks in advance,
K.

because this things happen to me also, so i use microsd card reader
I had this problem, when I had flashed gigerbread rom from LG, and formating my card as FAT (Yours is now probably FAT32) was very helpful - big files are written now with about 6-7 MB/s and 3-4MB-size files are written with 4-5 MB/s. It's only workaround, but maybe it will help You.

Q. about the ram

The device should have 512mb but when im in the task manger i see that there are only 376mb of ram why is it?is it because the rom?because i remember that in the stock rom i got 381mb but now i only have 376mb is the tweaks that i did made that?
Thanks for all the helpers!
I.E
I just saw in the settings that i only have 263 ram(152 used+191 free)so which one is correct?the task manager or the settings menu?
I believe it is like the 8gb of storage and you only get around 5.5gb. Not all the ram is available for use to use, and I think that is for some of the background processes that are running to keep everything stable. I haven't used the stock rom in a while but I know that the max ram you get is 341mb, and yes some of the tweaks you do can increase/decrease ram.

You have 512mb of RAM in total but a certain amount is dedicated to the GPU to render the visuals. ~375 for apps and ~140 for graphics.
You can change how much is dedicated by doing what is called ramhack. But i don't know if its possible on the players. Search before making a new thread about it.

Did you read the settings wrong? Or its just messed up? I think that it meant 263mb of RAM was in use atm. So you would have ~110mb free (or the opposite).

Sound/Music not working properly

Hopefully this hasn't been asked already if it has then i apologise upfront.
I seem to have an issue with playing music after flashing the MindCr Rom v2.7.BGLH4
I tried playing music using the default player and also PlayerPro and both play the music but skipping every 2-3 secs and eventually skipping to the next track..
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I was thinking maybe it's something to do with the Beats audio that is implemented in the rom (correct me if i'm wrong) that might be causing this?

[Q] SGS II Live OC!

Hi all
I own an SGS 1 so I'm on CM10.1 with Semaphore kernel which is supporting live oc (and I've managed to live oc it up to 128% working stable), so it's a month now I've purchased a used sgs2 and wanted to get it higher as my older sgs1, having in mind it's dual core and using 1gb ram I think it's going to be lot faster than my sgs1
So I saw there are plenty of options for roms based on cm10.1 and even cm10.1 itself as on sgs1!
But although I've searched quite a lot, haven't found easily a kernel supporting live oc!! Isn't there such an option for sgs2?
Also whats' the limit of OC/LIVE OC in rough words of course (I know that it depends on each certain device) and what are your average scores in Antutu?? Are they really around 12000?
EDIT: Since I've been start searching for two days now on issues other people deal with I've found lot of threads and posts commenting about the internal storage that it's divided in 2 parts.....2gb for the whole rom-apps + almost 12 gb for the user!!
Now is this true?!?!
I'm using the sgs1 8gb internal card as a whole....isn't it the same here on SGS 2?
So if I install let's say Asphalt 7 which screams for almost 1.5gb, data goes straight to 2gb "system" partition?? Or maybe "data" folder is on the 12gb partition?
Can't this be used as a whole?
Thank you all
C'ya
I believe I ve placed my question in the right place...but no answer from anyone???!!!
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Search in original Android Development section for kernels that supports oc.
And the maximum oc is 1.6 ghz but the stable is 1.4.ghz but the oc will drain the battery even faster.
And you don't need to oc this phone his 1 gb ram and 1.2 ghz will not give you any lag on any hd apps.

Overclocking is safe, but not everytime..
It makes your CPU to get extra voltage than required to run at a given frequency that may cause a permanent damage to your CPU.
A safe frequency of a phone is always on which it is already comes set from the company.
If You want to OverClock your phone.
Then SetCPU is the tool u need..
that's it..

It will not cause a immediate damage to the CPU.
N ur right the phone will reboot when it may get unstable..
But Continuous over clocking shortens the life of CPU. in some instances it also cause a damage as because OverClocking Forces the CPU to get Extra Voltage over the limit to work at a specified frequency.
