Has anyone use the battery test in the system test? *#*#7378423#*#*? My battery not very good so I want to test it out but has been running for the last 4-5 hrs still not finish yet.
I think this will run until the battery is completely empty, so you have a few hours to go
Battery
I read on Gsmarena that the battery of sony xperia s is 1750mah but i really get shocked when i checked the battery it shows just 1500mah. What is this? Is there any problem with my phone or the info on Gsmarena is fake
use at least 5-6 hours in one day
I think it's the software. Battery test showing 1500mA but battery health test showing 1700mA.
By the way no improve and took 8 hrs to complete and only drain battery to 70% and indicated reduce capacity????

I'd like to know that too!
I found some baterys on ebay...... they looked kind of "strange" so I decided to keep searching.... nothing so far
Where
Where I can buy a battery for my Folio?
I found some batteries on ebay at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Ori...8-battery-PA3836U-1BRS-PABAS238-/270859820087 . On contacting the seller he said that the batteries were original Toshiba manufactured (or made by their OEM for batteries), and thus had original Toshiba labeling. However, the battery was identical to the existing one, not a larger capacity battery. Any found larger capacity batteries?
Battery life fix from 2,5 hours to 5,5 hours!
I bought a used folio and in the original OS it had battery life of 2,5 hours after couple of complete charges. I then installed ICS CM9 and no change in battery life, the device shut itself off after 2,5 hrs.
Well after Googling I decided to try the battery stats reset in CWM. After 100% charge I did the battery stats reset in CWM and went to ICS to test the battery. After about 2,5 hours battery meter was showing 6%. 3hrs still 6%. 4hrs still 6%. 5hrs still 6%. Only after about 5,5hrs it dropped to 5% and about 15mins after that it was 1% and my device shut itself off. What an improvement! And I was using wlan and watching videos etc practically the whole time!
To fix the battery meter showing 6% for several hours I have used the device many times from 100% to lower than 6% and then charging the folio with power on. Now it shows 6% only for 45mins or so and I bet after couple more cycles it will be perfect! Then ill run it to 0% once more to be sure to make use of the whole battery.
So before you buy a new battery this is definately worth a try.
PS. You don't want to drain the battery to 0 % very often because this too will have a negative effect on battery life. Maybe once every 20 cycles is ok.
Wow, I'll try to reset it on CWM and see what happens. With a normal use is lasting about 3 hours before shutting down.
Do you have news for battery?
Thank you in advance.
Hello, i have some bad battery issues, my battery just disappears. According to 3C battery monitor the battery has capacity around 29~~ mAh. I have installed build 23.5.A.1.291. It wasn't so bad until i bought new smartwatch and i kept the bluetooth on during my time in school. I remember that i had even three days of battery on the KitKat 4.4.4, but now i have to charge every 10-12 hours. Also, i found someone who has same issue on Z3. Today i did factory res. and after using it had 97% i put it into sleep and didn't use it, after few hours it has around 85-83%.
It is soft charging function, it will charge your phone but not full capacity. This function will increase battery lifespan but reduce usage time
BTW, try charge your phone many times after installed new ROM, then it will stable
If not, maybe your battery has problem
I am thinking about changing the battery because AccuBattery has shown me that it has 2562 mAh, even if i heard that this app is not accurate. Also, i am thinking if its worth to pay 40 euro for battery change or buy a new phone like Xperia X or Google Pixel.
Accu battery is showing battery capacity only 3600 mah instead of 4000 anyone faced this or my battery is dying

Here is the screenshot
This can have multiple reasons, for accubattery to show a reasonable number you should at least use it for a week.
The supercharging messes up the mAh count... if you only supercharge 20%-50% all the time accubattery will show like 4500mAh.
So just keep using it for a while and see what happens. If you phone is one of the first that were shipped it is already 10 months old. if you use the phone a lot and always drain the battery and charge it to 100% always then the battery will wear out much faster. also heat can wear the battery out over time if you game a lot or live in a hot country then it can affect your battery life span too

Thnx for the clues, now is uodated to 4040 mah, is not accurate as the name of the app, lol my mate 10 pro is 5 months old and is about 6h30 screen on time and performs well my question is it is better to charge when it is on 30 % or wait till he turns off or to make short charging when it is on 50 or 60 per cent. Which method will keep the battery life

first of all: if you are happy with the battery, then dont focus so much on the numbers of an app. If it is enough juice for your days then everything is fine.
Accubattery explains it pretty well with the Charge cycle wear (or whatever it is called).
Generally speaking draining you battery to 0% or chargin it to 100% both means stress for your battery, it is bad.
So try to never drain it to 0% and never charge it to 100%. Accubattery has a scale fot this they call it "battery wear" and chargin from 0% to 100% causes "1.0 cycles" which is maximum stress for your battery and very bad.
If you want to have "0.0 cycles" you should best keep your phone between 45% and 55% all the time. Of course that is impossible but if you have the chance just focus on never letting it drain to 0% and never letting it charge to 100% (the last 10% take too ****ing long anyway, also do not charge over night. 100% for the battery is like a small car with 20 people inside... when the charger keeps the phone at 100% for 5h or so it means high stress over a long period of time).
My last charge charge was from 11% to 85% the wear is only "0.3 cycles", so its only 30% stress compared to charging to 100%. Lucky enough for us the battery of the mate 10 /pro is so big, we can afford only charging to 90-95% and still have enough battery for a whole day.
You shouldn't check it from. This tab anyways
Go to health there you will see the true current capacity of ur battery
Hlw Guys, I am facing battery drain issue in my poco f1 for 4-5 days.....its draining like a hell. after full charged its draining 25% in just 30 mins of normal browsing.....its very bad... Yesterday night I full charged it go to bed.... after 6HR of not using phone its drained to 100 to 30%......Its really bad please if u have any solution then please tell me. And also explain me why its happening.... should I have to change my battery or something else can be done without doing this. ):
seems like you need to replace battery..
Check battery health in Accubattery. 15-20 sessions for a reliable estimate in case of partial charging sessions and less in case of near complete ones. If rooted the battery capacity can be checked from the built-in kernel profile.
Hello all,
I recently got a battery replaced for my poco F1 .
The battery is currently giving me almost 5 hours of screen on time which feels less.
I discharged the phone till it switched off and charged it back to 100% to have it calibrated. Although, after I kept it on standby overnight for almost 5-6 hours, I observed the battery drained to 91% without any significant activity.
I performed some analysis by visiting the battery and performance area but found mismatch in the power consumption here and what the indicator shows.
In the attached image , my battery is down to 1% but the power consumption shows almost 2007 mah consumption i.e., 51%.
Can anyone help in letting know if it's a problem with software or the battery is weak? Because my phone switched just mins after that.
For the latter case, even if it is then shouldn't the consumption show nearly 99% consumption of the battery has less juice?
Is there any way to know if really the battery is weak or a fake?
