I tried the Proximus one yesterday and it contains English localization and generally it seemed to work well. The Marketplace had different icon with "big N" and it didn't show the "Nokia collection". I had the same problem on other ROMs and it disappeared after restart, so it would probably solve itself here as well. The "Lumia Highlights" application is installed by default. Phone "About" screen displays support information linking to Proximus support.
I'm on Indian software with the Qualcomm bootloader... I can't flash anything else anymore. Anytime it checks mode my phone goes in mass storage mode. Dead flashing doesn't work either. Anybody have any suggestions?

I've written a guide on reverting the bootloader to Nokia DLOAD to get NCS flashing working:

Also, it seems that the Tango ROMs were pulled and they are no longer available in NaviFirm.

Yes it does. Are you going to flash it? If so, could you confirm if it:
* Is indeed Tango (Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh) as 8773 in the version number suggests.
* Has Internet Sharing support (tethering)
* Fixes the audio bugs.

i do not know about audio bug because i never use my phone to listen to music with headset.

Interesting. So this is what is coming up after the crooked 12070 firmware. If it is around on some server, I suppose it will be a matter of days 'til people start seeing it being distributed. And then we'll get more infos

You are right, the RM-808 is the Lumia 900. The newest Firmware for the 800 is the 1750.800.8773.12120 for the chinese variant.

If anyone is confused about flashing it :
First of all, some instructions for flashing. We don't take responsability for consequences of the below procedure, use it at your own risk!!!
1) Soem ppl dont find the right NCS so im putting the link which has RM-817 too : http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2e2bal5g7hjs52j
2) Install WinUSB drivers you will find in path C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Care Suite\Drivers or C:\Program Files(x86)\Nokia\Nokia Care Suite\Drivers
3) Download all firmware files from link below and copy downloaded files in a folder named "RM-your-product-code" that you must create in C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products , if the path does not exists, create it.
4) Disconnect the phone if connected, and turn it off.
5) Launch program "Nokia Support Tool for Store"
6) From the file menu, select "open product" and select product "RM-your-product-code"
7) From the left pane, select "programming" and then "recovery" or "refurbish"
8) Select the firmmware from the list
9) Turn on the phone while pressing the "Volume Up" button, then release the power button but continue pressing the "Volume Up" button
10) As you hear the phone vibrating, connect the phone to the PC using the micro usb cable, and press the "Start" button in "Nokia Support Tool for Store"
Enjoy latest firmware for your phone

Just flashed it. I can confirm it is unbranded firmware, i used this to debrand my TIM Lumia. There is new icon for marketplace with "n" symbol and internet sharing option in settings. There is network option there too, for customizing call and sms options.

I think dev's must release a cab update with their cfw so that users who don't want to lose their data can use the cab to prevent data lose.I am eager to install rataplan 2.1 on ma lumia 710 , but I don't want to lose my games and apps...dev's do sone thing plz...

What variant of the FW should I download if I have a carrier unlocked phone in Europe, Romania? Lumia 800 of course.
So, I tried updating to this FW, the thing is, on navifrim, when i look for my lumia 800's product code (RM-801 059J3G0), its not there... whereas if i look for it in the nokia care suite it is. I'm not sure which to download. On nokia care suite i get my cell phone is NDT EURO 1 BLACK MATT, but i've yet to find that same thing on navifirm... Should i just download one that looks alike? or what am i supposed to do?
Sorry if its a stupid question, but i dont want to brick my phone

Does it matter which color to use? I have lumia 800 cyan and want to use German firmware, but there is a firmware for any but cyan( Can I use a firmware for a black phone?
Hm, I was able to download the firmware via the NCS, but my phone (which was automatically detected as RM-801) does not want to "switch mode".
Any ideas?
It seems that the phone is not recognised when it restarts as the Qualcomm CDMA driver has a warning message next to it that there are no drivers available...
Just installed the new firmware (used the "RM-801_CV_Netherlands_VAR252549_Black_12460_001_v6 (059L9Q7)" ROM).
Nice to be able to shrink and expand the tiles to my liking... and the Bing wallpaper of course.
Oh boy, I just can't wait to get a Rainbown Rom mode ROM with the new things like Bluetooth, working with the cool stuffs like root acess, clock hub and others... It will be awesome!!!
Looks like WhatsApp is not working properly on 7.8: No SMS code is transmitted. Anyone else tried it?
EDIT: There was an update for WhatsApp this morning and now it works fine.

Yes you can do it but not all of the RM-821 have the 4G enabled. You may have a look here at the new post created:

Folks at windowsmania.pl have got hold of Amber ROMs for both Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 phones. Their servers are very slow at the moment and I could not download the ROM for my Lumia 920, but it is good that someone has it!

For anyone interested, the update works perfectly, it is a French versión but you can change the language later.
I link Glance very much... but my surprise was that when I was installing my applications I browsed the Store and I found something that I was waiting for... LINADA GET, an application that let me download music from my NAS into the WP8 music library.
Now I can say, loud and clear, WP8 is the best mobile OS!

you can download it via NCS and product support tool 5.0 within NCS. just download the right one for your serial number, every phone region has its own product code. it is in the sim card tray printed. something like "059R3S1" thats a vodafone german version of the white lumia 920 so you type in yours in the NCS product support tool 5.0. there is on top of the app an setting like tools -> firmware download, there you type in your product code and see if there is a newer version than your on the phone. if not then type in what stays in the first post on one of the two links... there is the product code for lumia 920 and 820 on both sites.

you can download it via NCS and product support tool 5.0 within NCS. just download the right one for your serial number, every phone region has its own product code. it is in the sim card tray printed. something like "059R3S1" thats a vodafone german version of the white lumia 920 so you type in yours in the NCS product support tool 5.0. there is on top of the app an setting like tools -> firmware download, there you type in your product code and see if there is a newer version than your on the phone. if not then type in what stays in the first post on one of the two links... there is the product code for lumia 920 and 820 on both sites.

sadly you need a username and password to get on the nokia servers in my version of care centre
and mr crab has removed all the files from his site.. annoyingly I have the 1.3gb file, but none of the others!!!! so frustrating

So what product code did you use as I can't find it on that website
So i installed the Amber update with GDR2 firmware, but i have a question. All sites say that Nokia Pro Cam (from Lumia 1020) will come to 920/925 amber update. I only recieved the smart camera app, but not the pro camera app. Is it possible that they made a mistake and confused pro camera with smart camera, and nokia pro camera will not come to 920/925 devices?

I used Product Code 059R4H6 - which is the RM-821 (Non US) Developer version. This ROM has everything unlocked (2G to 4G) and I have found to be the perfect ROM all round

And it's pulled now. I've noticed this today. Only the 1308 build is available now.
I've got this developer ROM on my HDD. If there's a good service to upload it for you guys, please let me know (no Dropbox or stuff like that).
