Trying out this new battery. It was 20 bucks with fast shipping. I'll let you guys know how it works. I'm currently on cna rom.

I've had one for more than a few months. Its a pretty good battery. I'm pretty sure there's already a thread a out it tho .

Good to know. haven't seen one on this particular one

I have one. I originally had an issue in using it while connecting to a physically modded Atrix lapdock. Be sure to make the holes about a millimeter or two wider if you want to use that lapdock with this battery without having to smash it on every time.

I've gone through two rezounds now and two different extended batteries and I still cannot get decent battery life. If you look at the screen shot this is fairly typical for charge level at this point in the day. The annoying thing is that I haven't had much screen on time at all.

This is after forty minutes of screen on time. Unlocked but stock and rooted with an extended battery.

I wouldn't go that route, my boss recently bought a Maxx and his battery life is only slightly better than my Rezound running the VZ extended battery.
Hello guys. As many of you already know the stock battery which comes with the rezound dies pretty quickly through a decent amount of use in a day. I have been looking for some extended batteries and have come across brands such as Laza zCell, otterbox and Hyperion. What do you guys suggest? Should I just stick with the extended battery provided by HTC?
Thank you in advance.
Mike.

Can't go wrong with the HTC extended battery, there's an extensive thread about it in the Accessories section, best place to ask questions like this.

When it comes to the ReZound STICK WITH THE OEM HTC EXTENDED BATTERY no matter how many more hours they say it will last. Cause it might for the first week then the cells are going to weaken but my extended form my rezound is great and i've had it for almost a month now. I get about 20 hours with 4g on all day no wifi nor 3g and bluetooth is on
Honestly, my HTC battery works best by far. And once you get a replacement back for the phone thunderbolt extended batteries are the same part number and cheap as dirt. Like 3 or 4 bucks a battery.
Edit: Like so: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055OTNK4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

This is a good deal for the official htc rezound extended battery door:
http://shop.htcpedia.com/htc-rezound-extended-battery-door-cover.html
Then snag several of these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055OTNK4/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00
I got 4 batteries and they only charged me once for shipping. Thunderbolt extended batts are the same as the rezound except for the color.
You can also check out verizon in store (corp stores). Extended batteries with the door were only 19.99 for a long time (unadvertised sale, make them scan it).
extended with batt is 29.99,not 19.99

They were 19.99 in dec and jan. But 29.99 isn't a bad deal since you need the door anyway. The door alone is 25 on htcpedia.
Ya its a good price. You will probably get longer life out of a mugen extended or one of those "10000mah" pieces of crap jokes on amazon but the htc will outlast them in the long run. Just get the HTC battery

If it is available, ALWAYS get the HTC battery. Usually it is cheaper, is what it is advertised as(mAh), and a higher qualty product compared to over 95% of the junk out there. Mugen and Seidio are the higher quality aftermarket manufacturers, usually more expensive for the same result.

The Thunderbolt extended battery does work exactly the same as the Rezound extended.
For $3 you really can't go wrong. Have one in my Rezound as I am typing this.

Not sure how good a deal this is but figured I would post this for anyone interested.
Today only Atrix Lapdock (11.6") brand new for $49.99 + $4.99 shipping. So basically $55.

No idea. I know you have to do the modification of the ports so they line up with the Photon's.
Maybe someone that has it/has used it will chime in.
Here is another good deal. Even comes with the necessary cables.

Hi what is best for webtop? And developement?
Looking to buy one (in france) but want to know whats the best ?
Atrix still has plenty of dev support. It's a little slow right now since we are waiting for ICS, but once that comes out then we will have CM9/10 goodness to look forward to.
ICS is scheduled to be released anytime between now and Oct 1st...

I can`t wait to get the ics goodyes my first android phone was a motorola defy ,it was a great phone but the fact that nothing official was realeased for it made me sell it after that i got the crappy g2 for htc and nwo i have the gorgeous atrix wich i love for its design battery and performance and after the ics update IT WILL BE THE BEST PHONE EVER
The Razr is a better phone IMO. The Atrix is great and has served me well but I feel that the Razr is better if you can find one priced similarly to the Atrix. Also, the Razr feels better built than the Atrix. Maybe its just me against plastic, but Kevlar is way cooler. Both phones have awesome dev communities though.
Sent from my undervolted, underclocked, power saving Motorola Atrix.
Razr is defiantly the better phone, it also tends to cost more. For the price of Razr you can get Atrix plus lapdoc. So, it depends on your budget.

Atrix! Just sold my recently acquired razr: No fingerprint reader, Webtop 3.1 sucks! And lapdocks too! So big and so thin to get it hold... Ics? Someday we'll see it on our Atrix so no big deal!
Nothing like an Atrix with a good custom rom and the Webtop2sd or ubuntop mod.
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
Razr is a little too big. But Razr max has really great battery and this is only reason for me to think about it.
